Once Brian made it to and entered the Fuchsia City Gym, he immediately noticed Janine and called her. "Hey there, you're Koga's daughter, Janine, right? The Fuchsia City Gym Leader?" He asked. "That's right, are you here to challenge me?" Janine asked. "That I am, name's Brian." He replied with a tip of his hat and proceeded to bring out Espurr. "Espurr, let's do this!" Brian said as he threw his Poké ball and Espurr came out, ready to battle. Janine smiled and threw her Poké ball. "Let's go, Crobat!" She said as the latter came out, like Espurr, he was ready to battle.
"Use Psybeam!" Brian shouted as Espurr unleashed a beam of odd energy at Crobat. "Dodge it!" Janine shouted, but before Crobat could fully evade the Psybeam, it's bottom left wing was caught in the blast, causing a fair amount of damage. "Use Confuse Ray!" Janine shouted, Crobat shot a strange beam at Espurr which caused the latter to become severely confused. "Espurr, please snap out of it and use Psybeam." Espurr listened, but rather than hitting the target, Espurr swayed around which caused the Psybeam to hit almost everything except Crobat. "Use Wing Attack!" Janine commanded, Crobat flew toward Espurr and hit him hard with his wings which knocked Espurr back. "Espurr!" Brian called.
Espurr managed to get up and shook his head to snap out of confusion, as he did, he began to glow a bright blue light and change shape. He evolved into Meowstic. Who let out a fierce meow at Crobat. Janine looked at the newly evolved Meowstic with a smile. "Evolution or not, we're still gonna win! Wing attack!" She shouted. "Intercept with Psybeam!" Brian responded, Meowstic began to create a ball of psychic energy... but it wasn't Psybeam, Meowstic unleashed a powerful Psyshock at Crobat which sent the latter flying into the wall and caused it to faint.
Janine sighed and returned Crobat to is Poké ball. "Nicely done, don't think your Meowstic will stand up to my next Pokémon, go Weezing." skarmory was slammed into rhyperior, "Return," Christoher said returning skarmory to it`s pokeball, "Go doublade!" he said throwing a pokeball, two blades appeared out of it, "Use aerial ace!" he commanded pointing at the machamp, the blades began to flying forward, swinging around as they moved.
"What are those?" Gary yelled as the Doublade came at Machamp. "Dynamic Punch!" Machamp punched the Doublade but his fist faded through and he got hit with the Aerial Ace. "Is it Ghost type?" Gary asked in his confusion.
“Come to my gym, then. I would normally do a 3 on 3 battle, but just for you, I will settle for a 1 on 1 battle between Scopulus and Gyarados.” Said Validus as he walked into his gym. “Let’s do this! Go, Scopulus! Use Iron Defense!”
"Precisely, it`s a doublade, a steel-ghost type," Christopher replied, "Now back up and use swords dance!" Christopher added now talking to his doublade, the two blades floated backwards at a leisurely pace and started to spin around rapidly while glowing to make their attacks stronger.

“Scopulus, use dig!” Commanded Validus, as Scopulus, flawlessly in sync, dug straight underground, dodging the hydro pump with ease. Validus thought, ‘We’ve been training for this so that I may someday be powerful enough to mega-evolve him. He should know when to attack by now.’
"Alright Gothorita, use Psyshock!" Brian commanded. "Toxic, quickly!" Janine responded, both Pokémon used said moves, Weezing took Psyshock head on, but one more hit looked like it would finish him while Gothorita was inflicted with poison damage. "Future Sight!" Brian shouted, Gothorita shot a white bolt into the sky which vanished a second later. "Now use Psyshock one more time!" He commanded. "I'm out of options... Weezing, Explosion!" Janine shouted, Weezing began to glow a bright white light and charged at Gothorita. "Dodge it, hurry!" Brian shouted. Gothorita attempted to run away from Weezing as the latter let off a powerful explosion, but Gothorita was caught in the blast and took a lot of damage.
When the smoke cleared, Gothorita struggled to get up while Weezing laid there, defeated. Janine was amazed at how Gothorita managed to stand strong after such a powerful attack. "Way to hang in there, Gothorita." Brian commended, Gothorita looked back with a confident nod. Janine returned Weezing and threw her third and last Poké ball, out of it came a Venomoth. "Can you still battle Gothorita?" Brian asked, Gothorita looked back at Brian with a mix of confidence and determination in her eyes. "Alright then, you got it, Psyshock!" He commanded. "Use Double Team!" Janine shouted. Before Gothorita could use Psyshock, se was already surrounded by many duplicates of Venomoth. "Stay calm and find the real one." Brian said, Gothorita nodded and readied her Psyshock while she looked around to find out which Venomoth was real, from time to time, she could feel the poison slowly weakening her. "Use Supersonic!" Janine shouted, one of the Venomoths began to unleash a strange wave. "There, now!" Brian shouted, before Supersonic could hit, Gothorita quickly jumped out of the way and unleashed a powerful Psychic attack. "Awesome, you learned Psychic, way to go." Brian commended
Before Venomoth had time to recover, the latter looked up to see a bright white bolt come down and strike him, it was the Future Sight Gothorita had used earlier. "Venomoth! Hang in there and use Sludge Bomb." Venomoth unleashed a large and foul projectile at Gothorita, but before the latter could dodge, she was delayed by the pain of the poison damage and took Sludge Bomb head on. "Gothorita, no!" Brian cried as he looked at her Gothorita, he was about to return her to her Poké ball only to see her struggle to get up, as she did, she began to glow with the same light that Espurr glowed, she evolved into Gothitelle! Everyone flinched at the sight, not because Gothitelle was intimidating, but because two of Brian's Pokémon evolved within the course of one battle.
"Gothitelle…?" Brian asked, almost unable to believe it. Gothitelle looked back at Brian with a confident smile and nod, the same look as when they first met. Brian smiled and nodded back. "Let's do this! Use Psychic!" He commanded. "Use Supersonic!" Janine shouted. Before Venomoth could use Supersonic, he was already being held by Gothitelle's Psychic. "Slam him to the ground!" Brian shouted. Gothitelle nodded and threw Venomoth to the ground.
When the smoke cleared, Venomoth lied on the ground in a defeated state, Brian had won. "Alright, we did it, we won!" Brian cheered as Gothitelle ran toward Brian and hugged him. Janine walked up to Brian and smiled at him as she returned Venomoth. "You battled really well, not only that but I saw enough proof to see how close you are with your Pokémon. It's not everyday that two Pokémon evolve in one battle." She said as she held out the Soul Badge. "I'd say you've more than earned this badge." Brian smiled, nodded and took the Soul Badge. "Thank you Janine, not just for the badge, but for a battle which helped me understand some of my Pokémon better." He said as he tipped his hat to her and turned to walk out of the gym while returning Gothitelle. "Gothitelle, you gave it your all and I thank you for it, you deserve a good long rest." He said as he put his Poké ball away and walked to the Pokémon center.

"That typing is nasty! I love it!" Gary began to jump out of excitement. "Machamp, Knock Off!" Machamp ran forward and slammed his open hand down on the Doublade. "This thing counters my team almost perfectly! I love this battle!"
Hurricane barely even moved the 881.8 Lb. hunk of steel that was Scopulus, and it used Earthquake, followed up by a Gyro-Ball on Gyarados, hitting it this time due to the Smack Down earlier. “Great Job, Scopulus! That is exactly what I was thinking!”
After the hit, however, Scopulus wavered and fell to the ground, barely managing to rise back up. ‘I guess this battle is tiring Scopulus more than I thought, maybe I’m not that in sync after all. Guess I need even more training after this.’ Thought Validus.

Abbey headed on to the ship heading down to the islands with all of his Pokemon following with him holding his Swadloon. Once he arrived, Abbey walked around and found a nice hotel to stay at as he was enjoying the nice atmosphere and beautiful sun. He headed down to the pool inside the hotel with a massive glass ceiling five stories up. Everyone enjoyed themselves as Jiala jumped onto Welis, creating a huge splash in the pool. After the pool they went and found a place to eat near the beach and enjoyed their meal. They headed back to the hotel and slept through the night.
The next morning, they left the hotel and ran into a Tropius. Abbey stopped in shock as he recognized it. An middle aged man ran up behind the Tropius as he stopped at the sight of Abbey. "Abbey, It can't be.."
"Lester?"
Lester opened up his arms and Abbey ran in and hugged him crying. "I thought you were dead."
"I thought you were corrupted."
"Some friends saved me."
"I missed you and so did Yilie." The Tropius (Yilie), went up to Abbey and nuzzled him. "I never thought you'd grow up to be such a sissy."
"Excuse me Lester?"
"Abbey it was a joke." He tossed him a dark purple orb. "This is to help you, you know what it is."
"I can- an..." Abbey was in complete shock at the sight of it. "...There is no way I can take this."
"You have been consumed by them, you can control them." Yilie went up behind Abbey. "You want to go with him? Well, Abbey?"
"Um sure. Welcome to the team Yilie, I missed you."
"I'll see you Abbey." He left into an alleyway and vanished.
Abbey walked around the shopping area on his way to the gym and found a stone shop. He bought a leaf stone and shiny stone. Jiala and Vene were attracted by the sight of the stones. They both took a stone and evolved into Shiftry and Roserade. "Amazing, congratulations you two!" They headed down to the gym and entered.

Mickey was woried for few seconds. After that he saw that Validus Pokemon is weak and that Gyarados is not still defeated.
"Ok,your opponent is weak. Gyarados Hyper Beam now!" shouted Mickey and saw Gyarados prepearing for Hyper Beam

Steelix was hit head on by the hyper beam and collapsed to the ground. “Good job, Scopulus! You tried hard, but I think we need more training.” Said Validus, returning Scopulus, and then to Mickey, “I know you have all 8 already, but as a gym leader, I should give you a 9th badge anyway. Here is your Pressure Badge. You better be ready when I challenge your gym!”

“Well, I’m gonna relax here in my gym waiting for more challengers, so come get me if you need me.” Said Validus, relaxed. He sat down in his gym and started to read one of Blaine’s books. After a while, he remembered he had Giovanni’s book. ‘Hmm,’ Thought Validus, ‘Maybe I’ll read that after I’m done with this one... Nah, I’ll go to the beach instead. After meeting him in real life, I bet his book is boring.’

Asteria was going to head over to Fuschia city but decided to go to the closest department store instead so she could get a special little item to help her. One exiting the store with a Shiny stone in hand the girl sent her Togetic out who happily did a twirl in the air before realizing what her trainer was holding. Asteria noded to her fairy type who approached the stone and touched it, with a bright glow Togetic was no longer there and instead in the air was a beautiful Togekiss. "Alright Angel let's fly to Fuschia city" Asteria ordered as she got on her new flying types back. The Pokemon flew in the air and headed for Fuschia city just like the blonde trainer commanded.

Janine sent out her Weezing while Asteria sent Lunar. "Weezing use Sludge bomb" the gym leader ordered "Lunar use psychic" Asteria calmly commanded. After Brian had healed his Pokémon, he returned to the Fuchsia Gym to watch Asteria battle. He sat down on one of the benches on the side and let out his Pokémon to watch as well.
After Lunar had a little fun with making Weezing fly and bounce off walls the female Pokemon stopped using psychic and did a little creepy yet cute giggle, "Weezing use poison gas" Janine commanded, the Weezing opened his mouth and let poisonous gas fill the battlefield, "Lunar don't breathe the air and use Moonblast to stop it!" Asteria yelled. The Clefable covered her mouth with one hand and used the other to send out a pink ball of light and directly hitting the poison type and making it faint. "You got lucky with that shot, alright go Crobat" Janine stated as she sent out a purple bat Pokemon. "Crobat use wing attack" "Lunar use Zen headbutt", and with those commands the Pokemon lunged at each other and hit the opposing one with their attack which caused Lunar to faint, the attack wouldn't have done much damage but Lunar had inhaled poison gas on accident from the previous battle.
Machamp slammed its hand onto doublade hitting it back, stopping its swords dance, "Happy you like it," Christopher replied with a grin, "Now, use aerial ace!" he commanded again, doublade levitated towards machamp swingning around, but this time they had used swords dance to make it stronger.
Machamp got hit by an amazing force and got a large cut on his chest. "Knock Off!" Machamp ignores its injury and attacked at full force, attempting to take out the Doublade.
Doublade was hit once again with the knock off, it was quite weak so Christopher decided to return it to it`s pokeball, "Return," he said returning it to it`s pokeball, "Go togedemaru!" he said throwing another pokeball, togedemaru appeared from the flashing red light, "Use zing-zap!" he commanded, togedemaru rolled into a ball, radiating electricity it rolled towards machamp at immense speed and jumped up to hit them right in the face.
Machamp was badly hurt by the attack and the barbs as it got increasingly madder and threw the Togedemaru away before attacking it. "Dynamic Punch!" Machamp put every bit of its of its power into the attack.
"Spiky shield!" Christopher commanded, togedemaru regained balance "Toge!" They said and quickly curled back into a ball shape with their spikes pointing out, "Try punching that," Christopher said, punching it was not going to be the most, pleasant of experiences.
Machamp was too far into its attack to stop and hit the spikes, fainting from the pain. "Smart move, go Heracross!' Gary returned his Machamp and released his Heracross. "Close Combat!" Heracross dashed forward, attacking up close and neglecting to defend itself.
Abbey walked into the Seafoam Islands gym. "Welcome challenger....." a man said from a distance in the shadows. Torches light among the walls revealing the elderly man, Blaine. "...I am Blaine! Let the fires incinerate you. How many badges would you have?"

Validus had been watching Abbey’s battle from the shadows. He was learning how exactly to be a good gym leader from the older, more experienced fire type gym leader, Blaine. “That was a good fight,” he said to Blaine after abbey had left, “but how did you lose to a grass type specialist with fire types?”
“Shut up.” Blaine responded to the taunting. “She deserved to win, and I didn’t go easy on her. Her Pokémon were well trained.”
“Ok,” Said Validus again, “Grandpa.”

Asteria sent her newly caught Kirlia out and smiled at the Pokemon. "Alright Crobat use poison fang" Janine ordered "Titania use Dazzling Gleam" Asteria commanded, with those orders the Crobat lunged at Titania but before he could bite the fairy type, she used Dazzling Gleam which blinded the poison type before flying back so the bright light wouldn't damage him anymore
Abbey went down to the Pokemon Center and he and his Pokemon decided to head out to a Beach Jam going on at a neighboring island. "You guys excited" Abbey said with enthusiasm as they all hopped onto Yilie as they headed to the island. Abbey looked across the clear night sky and looked below at the lit up land and reflecting sea. The moon shone bright upon the islands and ocean. "It has been a nice journey. Heh, I just... ugh. Why the fuck am I still here?! I shouldn't. I should be gone and so should everyone else. That thing I saw....... before I passed. What the hell was it." He looked at the orb Lester gave him as he fell asleep.
Abbey wakes up the next day at the island with extremely tired eyes. "You guys want breakfast?" Everyone agreed as they headed toward a Diner and ate. After they ate they got a rental beach house and had everyone play on the beach for a bit. He sat down on a chair, disturbed by his dream.

Togedemaru was hit multiple times by the heracross and fainted, "Return!" Christopher said holding a pokeball out, there was a flashing red light and it returned to it`s pokeball. "Go doublade!" he said throwing a pokeball, doublade appeared from the pokeball but was still damaged from the battle with machamp, "Use aerial ace!" he comamnded pointing at the heracross, the blades spun around levitating quickly towards the heracross.
Micheal had just caught a Aloalan ninetails wearing his mask. A man saw Micheal "Whats the mask for" he asked. Thomas looked up.
"Theres a group of people who don't like me and if I show my face they hurt me." Micheal explained.
"Wow stay away from me." The man explained Thomas rolled his eyes. "Got one gym left he thought miss Vhris I hope he's doing well." Micheal thought.

"Earthquake!" Heracross took a lot of damage before setting off a tremor. "Doublade needs to go down now! I only have Toxicroak left after Heracross."
Brian and his Pokémon watched as Asteria battled, he was glad that her Fairy type Pokémon were putting up a good fight against Janine's Poison types. He watched in silence as he didn't intend to ruin Asteria's concentration, tempting as it was for him to cheer her on.
The ground shook around doublade, from the harsh ground and the damage he had already taken, he fell to the ground fainted, "Good job, return," Christopher said returning the doublade to it`s pokeball, "Well that`s it, I only have five pokemon," Christopher said, "GG," he said holding his hand out for a handshake.
