Task: Scabbard Research [Available]
Requester:
@Fen
Quest Rank: E
Rewards: 2 Large Copper Coins + a copper breastplate
Description: These past few weeks, I've seen most of the requests for the low-rank adventures like me being taken right away when it was released. So I want to create a request that even inexperienced newcomers can do it! I designed a new weapon for myself, the only unfinished part is the scabbard. I want you guys to research on woods that used for making a sword scabbard, you can just go to the library and make a report or go out and do experiment with trees. Easy right?
This quest is for adventurers who have less than 20 points.
This Quest can be taken six times within the week, though only once per adventurer.
Task: Scoping out a New Place [Taken by @Dovey] [Available]
Requester: @Ryul
Quest rank: E-rank
Rewards: 7 Large Copper Coins
Description: Ever since the cultist attack during the Ralditorias Festival, the mostly destroyed Church is still in the process of being rebuilt. This is a problem for Ryul who had borrowed that space from Soren
in order to educate some of the orphans and poor children around Nagrand.
However, Ryul, like many of his peers, is much too busy with his own adventuring work to do such a tedious task as finding a new, suitable location in town, so he decided to throw the problem to rely on the newer adventurers.
Please scope out a new place that would be suitable for Ryul to use as a temporary classroom and report back your findings. The place must be somewhat sanitary and have the owner's permission to be freely lent as a learning space. Ryul will decide the best location depending on the reports.
This quest is for adventurers who have less than 20 points.
This quest can be taken up to 5 times throughout this week, though only once per adventurer.
Task: Help my son getting hired! [Solved by @Arexio ]
Requester: Sirla, Gromak’s mother
Quest rank: E-Rank
Rewards: 7 Large Copper Coins.
Description: Recently… my son has in mind to become a blacksmith, of course! It’s better than an adventurer, but… I doubt he knows anything about blacksmith, and I doubt he will be able to get hired without help, since, well… he is du- I mean, he is not really smart but I still wish the best for him!
Please, help him as much as you can so he can do what he desires!
Task: Unveil the shadow [Taken by @Haitaka]
Requester: Olivia, Nagrand's scared herbalist
Quest rank: E-rank
Rewards: 10 Large Copper Coins.
Description: Recently, some sort of shadow has been following me all the time. It never leaves me alone, and to be honest, I am now far too terrified to look over my shoulder. Who knows what it would do to me!? Please, just - get rid of it! I don't even want to know what it is!
Task: Shut that guy up [Solved by @michael.kx5]
Requester: Dorvar, C-ranked adventurer
Quest rank: E-rank
Rewards: 10 Large Copper Coins.
Description: I recently started a semi-permanent party with a C-ranked bird-kin named Kaiser... I ought to admit, the guy is good at what he does, couldn't wish for a better party member.
Only... He doesn't shut up, dear Gods, I'm going nuts!
Do me a favor and convince him to not speak a word for a whole week, any method is fine for as long as he isn't directly harmed... My best suggestion would be convincing him to a bet that you're sure he'd lose... I'd do it myself, but he refuses to accept bets over "who can stay silent longer" and I'm afraid I'd lose most other bets I'm confident in winning... Doesn't help that he always refuses the ones it's obvious I'll win.
Please help, I need some rest from his blabbermouth.
Task: Kill my Dog (again) and beat the Bastard that raised it. [Taken by @strikegunner ]
Requester: Xantor, Merchant of Nagrand
Quest rank: E-rank
Rewards: 12 Large Copper Coins.
Description: An idiot named Solas recently moved in town and has been openly playing with necromancy... Damn bastard needs to learn his place.
I was grieving over my dog's death last week and he decided to go and revive him? Who the hell does he think he is!? And now he is bossing my dog around as if it had always been his loyal follower... The guy is crazy.
The guards don't think it's worth the trouble to beat a necromancer that has just done a bunch of "meaningless" things according to them... They said it's better to have it here doing pointless stuff than out there making an undead army... And not only that, the nearby mercenaries are too scared of him to do anything! It's ridiculous!
Beat the guy up and kill the dog again! Teach him a good lesson! My dog deserves peace!
... Oh, and don't kill him, you'd get arrested if you did... And me too, probably.
Task: My child seems to have nightmares since... [Solved by @leegood]
Requester: Bula, a Not-So Desperate Mother anymore
Quest rank: E-rank
Rewards: 9 Large Copper Coins.
Description: Thank to the guild, my child, Shula, is back home, however, he has been having many nightmares… each night are filled with his screams and cries… every time, he moans in pain and can’t sleep, it has been a few days, he shouts some words I can’t understand each time he closes his eyes…
Could you please cure my children from those nightmares?!

Task: Spy..! I swear there is one! [Solved by @WhitesRabbit48 ]
Requester: Kharjo, a cat-kin merchant of Nagrand.
Quest rank: E-Rank
Rewards: 8 Large Copper Coins.
Description: Since recently, I keep hearing noises in my house, on top of that, it seems that some items move from time to time, like… I found my bottle of milk in my bedroom instead of my kitchen! I swear, there is someone spying on me, but there is no trace of it, as if it was me who moved the stuff! They must have the key of my house! Of course! On top of that, I found compromising letters on my bed a few times!
Prove to me that there is someone spying on me!
Task: The lake has frozen over [Solved by @jbturkle ]
Requester: Tommy, a fisher
Quest rank: E-rank
Rewards: 12 Large Copper Coins.
Description: I was pretty happy that almost no snow fell this winter, I could happily spend the time usually complaining about the frozen lake while working instead, it was great!
Guess what? Spring came and the lake froze over! It's snowing here! It's cold as hell!
Do me a favor and find out why it's so cold right now... Fix it for some extra coins. The village I'm in is to the Northeast of the Moon Village, around 60km away from it.
Task: I want to see the sea [Solved by
@Zone Q11 and @leegood]
Requester: Abraham, an old man from the Empire.
Quest rank: E
Rewards: 12 Large Copper Coins.
Description: After taking his old age into account, the requester realized that he doesn't have much left to live, and therefore decided to sell all his assets and take a journey throughout the Holy Empire of Men in order to enjoy the last of his life.
A few years already passed since then and he saw most of what he wanted within the Empire's territory... He is hardly capable of walking anymore by now, but still hasn't given up in one last dream... He wishes to see the sea.
The requester desires to travel to the southern part of Ternus in order to see the sea, keep in mind that he has the usual prejudices against non-humans that you'd expect from an Empire's citizen... He also seems to be particularly stubborn based on the guild's first impression, so you may have a hard time trying to convince him of any faster method other than traveling on his two old feet.
Task: Help..? Please bring me food... [Solved by @WhitesRabbit48]
Requester: Historian Roland
Quest rank: E-rank
Rewards: 10 Large Copper Coins.
Description: How to say that... after getting those magnificent stories about the vampires, I went into the Sanctuary, I tried to do the same as the adventurer who ventured inside and then, the Snake Golem seemed to have let me pass without any issues, as long as I say that I am not here to take the treasures and so on , it even helped me!
And then... I met him, or her... Asura Tepes, thus, at the moment... or actually, they are rather curious about how the world has changed and the such, they allowed me to send a letter... which isn't a letter but a request. While they don't seem to need to eat, to drink and so on... I do! And my rations are lighter and lighter as time passes, because, on top of that, they love to sneak and take anything from my bag! So, I am almost left with no food at all, and they won't allow me to leave... or more like, they said that if I leave I won't be able to come back... how cruel when such a piece of history is in front of me...
Task: Ghastly Dance [Solved by
@Wraith ]
Requester: Nargrand's Gravedigger, Frank
Quest rank: E-rank
Rewards: 9 Large Copper Coins.
Description: After the recent cultist attack in the town, I've been seeing things in the graveyard... Scary, translucent things... This happens every time many people die in here at once, and it fades after a while, but... This time it's worse!
A mysterious lady appears at random times! She dances and the spirits dance around her, she stays there for quite a few hours every night! It's driving me nuts! Those ghost can attack me at any moment!
Please save me! Stop her, get rid of her, do what you will!!!
* The guild believes it's a priestess sending the spirits of the dead to the afterlife, so this is nothing to worry about, but it is important to be cautious in case there is a real issue at hand.
Task: Peatlurta Bridge Needs Some Repairs [Taken by @Arexio]
Requester: Norman, Doylor's Carpenter
Quest rank: E-rank
Rewards: 10 Large Copper Coins.
Description: If you're wondering why a Carpenter is requesting repairs for a Stone Bridge, than the answer is because Tower Mages are stupid and deserves to have eggs thrown at their carriages.
Anyways, the bridge is fine, will probably last some more decades at least, but they insist their fancy carriages are shaking too much when they go over it... And then decided that rather than using their fancy magic for it, they should hire a carpenter to do it! A carpenter! Do I look like someone that knows how to fix a stone bridge!?
So uhn... Do me a favor and fix it for me, I might become a head shorter if I get their anger, and denying their request is exactly what will get their anger, so I don't have much of a choice...
Task: Exterminate the direwolves! [Solved by @A5G_Reaper ]
Requester: Sirius, Edhellen's #1 Rogue... I think
Quest rank: D-rank
Rewards: 8 Small Copper Coins per Direwolf.
Description: These damned beasts have been coming more and more often recently, I swear, they must be overpopulated. They took out most of the traps surrounding my house already, and soon enough I'll be left with none! What will I do if goblins come to attack me then!? Or worse, the Direwolves?!
Please, could you exterminate like... At least 20 of them?! I think there aren't many left aside from those... Hopefully...
My house is near the woods to the Southwest of Lakeside village, the direwolves should be in the woods probably.
Task: The Moon is Becoming Red [Solved by @Razogul ]
Requester: Moon Village
Quest rank: D-rank
Rewards: 19 Large Copper Coins
Description: The moon is becoming red... Weirdly enough, you can see its normal color if you travel a few kilometers away from the village.
We already tried everything we could, we couldn't find anything that could be causing it... We assume some sort of mostly invisible red fog is spreading above the village and that is making the moon look red for us... While we believe that, we didn't find anything that proved the theory... Either the fog is too high up for us to detect, too good at hiding to be detected, or we're wrong.
Find the problem and at least give some pointers towards a possible solution. If you can actually solve it, we'll pay extra.
Task: Not yet another cult... [Solved by @Haxagen]
Requester: Grom, Nagrand's Mayor
Quest rank: D-rank
Rewards: 25 Large Copper Coins
Description: Rumors of a cult of the undead have been spreading in the area near the Caves of the Dead... Apparently they were formed after reading the newspaper talking about Cody's death. Their motto seems to be "Undead are our friends, we're not their food!" or something.
Normally I'd just have a headache over it and would be more than happy to leave them to die at the caves, but... After this last incident with cultists, I honestly don't want to risk having a cult of necromancers on my doorstep.
Get rid of them, all of them. I don't want them alive anymore nor for a reform in their ways, make them an example of what happens when people set up weird cults near this town.
Task: This is awkward [Taken by @Haxagen ]
Requester: Village Chief Tazigur
Quest rank: D-rank
Rewards: 23 Large Copper Coins.
Description: I used to be an elf, but due to some reason, I've turned into a troll, and am currently hiding in the cave near my village. Could someone please come and help me turn back? The villagers seem to be getting closer and closer to discovering my whereabouts, and they don't like trolls.
Task: Investigate the bastion of Tuatha Dé Danann [Solved by @A5G_Reaper]
Requester: Historian Roland
Quest rank: D-Rank
Rewards: 27 Large Copper Coins.
Description: On the mountains on the west, a
@Little rabbit while accomplishing his quest found a handless door, considering that the place is quite dangerous, that you need to climb a mountain where there is a ever-present storm…
I would like an adventurer to go there and investigate what is this place, who is Tuatha Dé Danann, and so on… there are very little details about it.
Please, do not damage the place, I would like its state to be the same as when it was found.
What is inside, how to enter is completely unknown, so I would like someone experienced, careful and familiar with exploring.
Could you write everything you see and present it to my wife named Karoli? She should be near Daegon's Dungeon, studying something as well, of course, she is outside, she organized a camp with one of my friend and a bunch of acquaintances.
Task: Escort the carriages and inform me [Taken by @WhitesRabbit48 and @Daisydacrazy]
Requester: Grom, Nagrand’s Mayor
Quest rank: D-Rank
Rewards: 16 Large Copper Coins.
Description: While I know that I already a similar quest last week, the needed resources’ price seem to be below average, so, I thought that we might as well take this opportunity to stock some resources we will use either for another emergency repairs or the construction of new buildings.
Once again, go to the village of New Spice and escort the carriages. While it is optional, it would be perfect if you could provide us with the reason why the price is below the market price.
Task: I Need a Pet Wyvern [Taken by @Unreachable Hope,
@fossil and @michael.kx5]
Requester: Lyra, the Alchemist
Quest rank: C-Rank
Rewards: 90 Large Copper Coins.
Description: A @certain adventurer recently
got me some very mysterious flowers that are apparently some kind of worm that have trouble surviving under the daylight if their main body is exposed to sunlight!
I studied them extensively this last week, but I want more! I want to see them for myself in their natural habitat! I need to go there myself!
But well... It's kinda scary to go out there all alone, it's far away and all, and it would be troubling to go back and forth multiple times through normal means too... And I'd need to leave my shop unattended as well and... In short, I can't go right now!
So... I want a pet wyvern, it's going to be expensive to keep it, but not nearly as much as paying the normal fees to get there quickly.
It doesn't necessarily needs to be an adult, but it needs to be big enough to carry me and some decently heavy supplies. Oh, and it needs to be fast of course~
Good luck taming one! Gods blessings upon you! ^^)/
Task: This scoundrel is…! [Taken by @Razogul and @A5G_Reaper ]
Requester: Acelsus, Nature Mage
Quest rank: C-Rank
Rewards: 54 Large Copper Coins.
Description: O-Okay! So my colleague is a reckless bastard, you see, and then, you know, when you are a mage and reckless, it usually doesn’t go well together, and know what?! I was right!
And that cunt is now mutating! Of course, he can’t control himself and now he basically attacks everyone who is near to him! Great! For some reason, he doesn’t seem to be able to leave his house… perhaps I should say nest considering how filthy it is! He is living in a little village near Hero Port, and now, all the villagers are scared and some ran away from the village!
Could you knock him out? Strike him down, just don't kill him, breaking some bones is fine, but no killing!
Task: Witch! Hunt the witch! [Taken by
@Zone Q11,
@Wraith and @Zero300]
Requester: Herny, a farmer
Quest rank: C-rank
Rewards: 80 Large Copper Coins.
Description: The moment I witnessed that monster... I knew something was wrong, since she came, the village has been cursed, people have been dying and... mutating?! No no no...they weren't dying... they seemed to be.... controlled? Like, they were doing things they would never do, they were like beasts!
And from time to time, they villagers would puke blood, I did as well but, since I quickly realized the danger, I ran away...
Once I was two kilometers away, I was free from the curse, please, save my village!
