Alright. Here we go. A bit of an unconventional OC, but one that could be fun.

Name: Alexis. She doesn't really have a last name, or at least won't give one.

Gender: Despite the mystery surrounding her, she's no doubt Female.

Age: Her age is unknown, and frankly she's not entirely sure. Only her parents really know, but she's around the age of a young adult, perhaps 19ish.

Trainer Class: While she doesn't exactly have a class, her goal is to become a paranormal specialist, being an expert in the Dark, Psychic, and Ghost types, as they are rather misunderstood and have many mysteries around them.

Physical Appearance: While she rarely takes off her robes, Alexis is a rather beautiful young woman. Despite having lived in a secret underground cult her whole life, her looks are enough to at least be notable. Her skin however is rather pale due to having little exposure to sunlight, though surprisingly, she rarely has an issue with sun burn. Her hair is a dark purplish colour, with streaks of black and lighter purple in it. While one would assume it's dyed, she claims it's natural, perhaps having to do with being in tune with the more mystical side of things. Her body is slim and she stands at around 5'8. Her eyes are a similar colour to her hair, being a dark purple, with an odd red swirl through them.

Clothing: True to someone who's managed to escape a cult, she still wears heavy black robes with a symbol resembling the legendary pokemon Giratina on the back. Of course, the hood is usually thrown back to reveal her rather attractive looking face, but can be used in an attempt to conceal herself when she's feeling uncomfortable, which is often around people. Aside from her robes, not much is notable. She wears black steel toe boots(for some reason) and under her robes, she wears a plain pair of denim jeans and a white tee-shirt, though few people have seen her without her robes. She also wears an old locket with a picture of her and her parents and a bracelet appearing to be a mega evolution band without the keystone. Instead of a keystone, it seems to have what appears to be a dusk stone fitted into it. She also has a bag that follows her around, and seems to be possessed by a loyal ghost companion, which explains why it can move.

Personality: Alexis is rather withdrawn and shy, another aspect from when she was a cultist. She tries to avoid large groups and busy areas can cause her severe anxiety to the point where she crouches on the ground and tries to shut out the world around her until removed from the situation. Thankfully, the one Pokemon she has, an Umbreon, is able to help her avoid such situations. She seems to have a bit of anxiety when around wild pokemon, unless they are of the three types she has an affinity with. She can sometimes be seen speaking to ghosts and spirits, which she is in tune with to the point where she can see spirits few other people can see. However, she is well aware of such, and only communes with spirits when she knows there is nobody else around. To those who are lucky enough to gain her trust, she is rather kind and willing to assist with most things so long as it isn't dangerous. It's a mysterious world, and completely different to what she knew only a few days ago, but she hopes to use her unnatural abilities to gain understanding of things that few people actually understand.

While she was treated generally kindly due to her strange affinity with the supernatural, her and her parents hated being associated with a cult bent on destroying the world as they knew it. When she was around 19, an attempt by the cult to summon Gitatina failed spectacularily, as instead of summoning a Legendary Pokemon, they ended up angering many hostile spirits that proceeded to destroy the underground cult. However, as if the spirits took mercy upon Alexis, she managed to escape with her parents into a strange new world. Her parents then went out to go forge their own life. As for their daughter, she decided to go on a journey with her Umbreon, keeping a locket as a reminder of her family. Her goal? To explore this strange new world after finally getting her wish to escape the cult that practically kept her prisoner. Perhaps it was Arceus smiling upon her, perhaps it was just incredible luck. But to her, it didn't matter. She had a journey to go on. (As a bit of a way to tie this into Adolphian, she met him a few days before the events of this roleplay, having a sort of sense that he wasn't from this world. After a bit of friendly interaction, he helped her catch a Noibat during dusk, a Pokemon generally native to Unova. However, said Noibat wasn't very loyal, and would eventually lead to het getting into a spot of trouble... Woo, foreshadowing!)

Starter: For now, she simply has an Umbreon that Adolphian nicknamed Dunkleheit, meaning Darkness in German. She rather liked how the nickname sounded, so it stuck. Dunkleheit is a rather sweet and affectionate Umbreon towards Alexis, and being her essential guardian Pokemon, is very protective of her. She will do anything to ensure her trainer is safe, including putting herself in harms way. However, she generally dislikes conflict and will do what she can to avoid such a situation ever happens.

Yeah, I think she'd get along with them in that case. Although, when she met Adolphian, she wasn't anxious around him. Mostly because the two shared a decent amount in common, but... I'm getting off track here. Just looking for someone who's willing to deal with her appearance from the sky.

Trainer Class: Fairy-type Specialist (Battler)
Physical Appearance: Elsie is on the smaller side, standing at around 5’2” and weighing around 110 pounds. She has long wavy blonde hair, the ends dyed a pastel pink color that is kept mostly down, although she does commonly have some of it tied into unbraided pigtails that she enjoys. She has dark blue eyes that are always seeming to sparkle with excitement. She has pale skin, being unable to tan naturally and safely, instead getting sunburned quite easily.
Clothing: Elsie Tends to have light pink, light blue, and light purple butterfly “wings” that she attaches to her pigtails, each one matching her shirts. She has six outfits in total, one is a short-sleeved pastel pink shirt with ruffles that she pairs off with a matching pink ruffled skirt with white tights with some pink butterfly decals that go down to her knees and some white boots made with an easy-to-clean material that ends at her calf.
Another shirt is a pastel blue short-sleeved v-neck shirt that has a “butterfly sleeve” with a white abstract butterfly graphic on it. She pairs this shirt with some light blue shorts that stops halfway down her thighs. Then she has some light-blue high-top platform sneakers.
Her third outfit is a pastel purple dress with a petal sleeve and has a swing dress cut and it stops at her knees. The bottom of the dress is white and it almost looks like white flowers are falling into a “pile” at the end of her dress. With this dress, she tends to wear the white boots she pairs off with the first outfit.
Next is another pastel pink shirt, though this time it is not ruffly. It is a long-sleeved shirt with a sparkly flower decal. She wears dark blue jeans and her blue shoes with this.
She also has a light blue blouse with an angel sleeve and has some flowers and butterflies embroidered onto it. It isn’t too loose-fitting, some stretchy material around the stomach before it ruffles at the bottom. She wears light blue jeans with this blouse and the boots.
Finally she has her final pastel purple shirt, which is in the same style as the long-sleeved pink shirt. However, this time the shirt has pastel blue swirls at the bottom, slowly trying to climb their way up. She has dark blue jeans and the blue sneakers.
Personality: Elsie is a nice, outgoing young lady. She is generally very caring and helpful. However, she is a huge prankster, enjoying playing pranks on people. One of her favorites is speaking in a monotone and pretending that she was “possessed.” She thinks it’s the funniest thing when people get freaked out by it and will also say something slightly disturbing. She hates it when people flirt with her and will not hesitate to punch someone or have her Pokemon attack them if she believes they step too far. However, she tries to just tell them to knock it off first.
Backstory: Elsie comes from the enigmatic region of Tervol and lives in the mystical town of Titanlian. Her ancestors were the founders of the town in the middle of a fey forest. In fact, it used to house the fairy-type gym, but that hadn’t been there since her aunt was the fairy-type gym leader. It was the pride and joy of the town, the Titanlia family succeeding it from one another. But, Elsie now never has a chance to inherit it. The champion moved the gym to another town, one more “on route.” Now, Titanlain hardly gets any visitors and is slowly dying.

This is one of the many reasons Elsie hates the current champion of Tervol. As a young child, she grew up listening to stories of how things used to be; twelve being the minimum age for starting a Pokemon journey instead of 16, the gym being passed down through the family, trainers from other regions being allowed to battle, and especially her aunt being there. Her aunt was arrested for a crime she didn’t commit, and Elsie’s family believes the champion, the aunt’s ex-husband, had something to do with it. Since the gym was moved, the Titanlia family has moved out of the public eye, though they try to avoid angering him publically.

Other than the hatred of the champion of Tervol, Elsie has had a relatively nice life. She always enjoyed exploring the electrically charged mushroom forest, despite the dangers that lurk inside of it. Her family was amazing at dealing with the more nefarious fae, anyway. She learned how to hide emotion from her voice and her face so then she could more safely roam the woods.

At age ten, Elsie was given Alvin as a birthday present. He was supposed to be her pet to take care of so then she would become more responsible over the next six years. She adored Alvin and started taking him with her, and recruiting him to help her prank the other inhabitants of Titanlian. The two became very close, Elsie even letting him through her “fairy walls” (AKA, showing him all her emotions) because she trusted he wouldn’t pull anything.

Two months after her 14th birthday, the minimum trainer age in Tervol was lowered to 14. Elsie was ecstatic. She was starting her journey two years earlier than expected! Over the next week, she hastily got everything ready. She already knew she didn’t want to travel in Tervol first. Her family didn’t like the champion and it was safe to assume he didn’t like her family either. She pondered for a long while and settled on traversing Kanto first. Her grandmother gave her Fennie, the starter her family got if they received a Pokemon from an older family member. After all, the regional starters all became dragons, and they were a family of fairy masters. She took a bus to Anola Town, where Professor Apple was to finish registration as a trainer and to get her Pokedex. Once she revealed her intention to go to Kanto for her journey, Professor Apple warned Elsie that it would be difficult to go back to Tervol once she left and got a badge. Though, when Elsie wasn’t swayed, Apple asked her to hand some notes to Oak, citing that she was too busy with all of the new trainers pouring in. Elsie accepted and left for Kanto.

Species: Tervolan Fennekin
Gender: Female
Appearance: Fennie has the normal coloration and appearance of a Tervolan Fennekin, however, she also has either a pastel pink, light blue, or pastel purple tied around her left ear, matching Elsie’s outfit for that day.
Backstory: Fennie’s earliest memory was being captured by a human. In her early days, Fennie didn’t have a name, though her new owner was caring. She was an elderly lady, though there was a youthful spark in her eyes. Fennie respected the woman, especially since the “capture” was very loosely defined. Her owner did train her to be respectful to humans and to listen to moves, but other than that, Fennie could do basically whatever she wanted as long as she didn’t stray too far from the human skulk and their many dens. There were a few other Fennekin there that she enjoyed playing with, as well. She assumed they were her littermates or something similar.

However, one day something changed.

She had seen someone come in and pick up one of her supposed siblings before during the few times they were kept in the yard, but she never thought too much of it. That was until she was picked up herself by a strange human. Her owner let in one of the kits she had seen in the human skulk before. She mostly ignored her, like all the Fennekin did when a strange human entered the yard until she got curious. The human was just smiling as she watched the others. Fennie cautiously walked up to her and sniffed the human. The human had her sniff her hand and she started petting the fox. Fennie enjoyed it for a good long while before she was scooped up and whisked out of the yard. Fennie panicked, thinking she was being kidnapped. The kid whispered reassuringly to her, but Fennie was still scared until she saw her owner. She was confused. Was her owner giving her away? Her suspicions were confirmed when she saw her owner pass on the Pokeball to the kid. She didn’t mind the child, but she was still unsure about the situation.

Appearance: Alvin has a light pink pelt that covers his entire body with some dark pink spots on his tail. He also, his left ear is the same dark pink as the spots. He has dark pink speckles on his right paw. His three of his paws and tail-tip is white, as is the ring on his stomach. Sometimes, Elsie give him a blue bowtie.

His registered fur color and pattern is Speckled-Pink.
Backstory: Alvin was born at a T-Furret breeder’s house. His father was not a Furret, but a Sylveon. There were several other Sentret and Furret around, though he was kept with his mom and littermates. It didn’t take too long before he was separated from his mother, though. He was weaned quickly and once he could be sold, he was put on sale. Sometime later, he was picked up by a strange human. Alvin didn’t understand it. While most Pokemon would struggle free, he snuggled close to the human, his long fluffy tail flicking anxiously.

He was taken on a long car ride back to some sort of magical forest and was given a bright blue bowtie. Alvin couldn’t help but sniff everything curiously. A few short minutes later, he met her. His future companion and trainer. She adores him, been that way since they met! He couldn’t imagine his life without her. Then again, he had only known two lives, the breeder’s house and Elsie.

He has dark pink speckles on his right paw. His three of his paws and tail-tip is white, as is the ring on his stomach. Sometimes, Elsie give him a blue bowtie.

His registered fur color and pattern is Speckled-Pink.
Backstory: Alvin was born at a T-Furret breeder’s house. His father was not a Furret, but a Sylveon. There were several other Sentret and Furret around, though he was kept with his mom and littermates. It didn’t take too long before he was separated from his mother, though. He was weaned quickly and once he could be sold, he was put on sale. Sometime later, he was picked up by a strange human. Alvin didn’t understand it. While most Pokemon would struggle free, he snuggled close to the human, his long fluffy tail flicking anxiously.

He was taken on a long car ride back to some sort of magical forest and was given a bright blue bowtie. Alvin couldn’t help but sniff everything curiously. A few short minutes later, he met her. His future companion and trainer. She adores him, been that way since they met! He couldn’t imagine his life without her. Then again, he had only known two lives, the breeder’s house and Elsie.

Festivals​

Mareep Festival (A town between Violet City & Azalea City)​

The festival is held to commemorate Mareep for bringing the area wealth with its wool, which can be turned into clothing and apparel. The event features amusement rides, a beauty pageant for Mareep, and a battle tournament that Mary competed in.

Eclipse Festival (Eclipse Castle, specific location unknown)​

The festival surrounds Espeon & Umbreon. We could do a battle tournament here, similar to the one in Lucario & the Mystery of Mew.

Pokémon Exhibition (Florando Town, between Cherrygrove and Newbark)​

A large square and stage hosts a gigantic outdoor Pokémon entertainment festival. It attracts Trainers and Pokémon from all around the world. The Pokémon Exhibition aims to showcase collaboration and a Pokémon's individuality and skill, much like a Pokémon Contest.

Pokémon Street Performer Festival (Between Ecruteak and Olivine)​

Street performers and their talented Pokémon perform for the crowd, with acts such as magic tricks, musical performances, and strength-defying feats on offer. Food and merchandise stalls are also set up for the festival. Notably has a reputable fortune teller who uses Natu and Xatu to read your future with future sight.

Sunflora Festival (Bloomingvale, between Violet & Azalea)​

The Sunflora Festival contest is a beauty pageant for Sunflora. Three judges examine the entrants for signs of good health and happiness. The victorious Trainer wins a trophy and a year's supply of instant noodles,

Wobbuffet Festival (Wobbuffet village, between Goldenrod and Ecruteak)​

Trainers who own Wobbuffet gather to join the villagers in games, feasting, and a night-time party with fireworks. The symbol of the festival is a giant model of a Wobbuffet in the center of the village.

To honor the spirit of Wobbuffet never attacking first, Pokémon battles are forbidden within the village during the festival.

Palmpona Festival​

Pokémon Swap Meet (Palmpona, between Azalea and Goldenrod)​

Part of a week-long Palmpona festival that's held annually. The pokémon swap meet allows people to display their pokémon and find someone to trade with.

One-on-One Tauros Competition​

The Tauros-exclusive Rock and Tumble One-on-One Tauros Competition is another event that is part of the same festival as the Pokémon Swap Meet. Tauros engage in tough matches of strength, only using their horns to charge and hold off an opponent. Once a Tauros is tossed to the ground, the round ends. Anyone with a Tauros can enter the event at any time, where the last Trainer standing will be the victor.

Running of the Tauros​

The Running of the Tauros is an event that is part of the same festival as the Pokémon Swap Meet. Tauros are sent running through the streets of Palmpona, ending at the battle stadium. Anyone may enter this stage, with the aim being to be the first to touch a Tauros horn to win a trophy. The dangerous challenge, however, often leads to injury.

Other Events​

Extreme Pokémon Race (Eggseter, between Mahogany & Ecruteak)​

Each Trainer puts their partner Pokémon in a leash and collar, allowing the Pokémon to pull them on a skateboard. The difficult course has competitors cross the winding Eggseter Valley to the Shelby Ranch as the pit stop to pick up a dummy Pokémon Egg. Next participants must race back to the starting mark with the Egg in hand to complete the race. The prize is a Golden Poké Ball trophy for the winning Trainer and a medal for the winning Pokémon.

Fire and Rescue Grand Prix (between Azalea and Goldenrod)​

Participants typically enter with a team of Water-type Pokémon, though there have been exceptions such as Muk and Pikachu. Competitors go head-to-head in a series of rounds designed to test a team of Pokémon's ability to work together and speed as firefighters. The first round consists of a team of Pokémon working in concert to extinguish the flames burning in a house, while the second round requires the Pokémon to grab a flag after climbing a rope. The final round requires that the Pokémon rescue a dummy trapped within the house, then put the fire out.

Might expand on this as a sort of training course for trainers, since they're expected to help out during emergencies.

Grass Type Tournament (between Ecruteak and Goldenrod)​

Consists of one-on-one battles. Competitors are allowed to enter only one Grass-type Pokémon. Each Pokémon Trainer fights for the prize, a trophy, and a set of Leaf Stones.

Seaking Catching Competition (between Ecruteak and Goldenrod)​

The Seaking Catching Competition is a fishing competition to see who can catch the largest Seaking. Contestants may use any rod, reel, or lure they like and may catch as many Seaking as they like—but only one may be entered in the competition and it must be caught using a Lake Ball.

Competitors can also have one of their own Pokémon registered to assist them in their catches. In the case of a tie, the competitors and their registered Pokémon will face off in a Pokémon battle to determine the winner of the competition. The first prize winner gets a trophy, as well as a year's supply of chocolate candy. At the end of the tournament, contestants must return the Seaking they caught to their natural habitat.

Pokémon Beauty Contest (Bonitaville, between Ecruteak and Goldenrod)​

Pokémon Sumo Conference (Rikishii Town, between Ecruteak and Olivine)​

Pokémon entered in the competition must weigh 80 kg (176.4 lbs.) or more. Only basic physical moves are allowed, and the goal is to eventually throw the opponent out of the sumo ring. The prizes available upon achieving victory in the Sumo Conference are a King's Rock and a year's supply of Pokémon food.

Tour de Alto Mare (Alto Mare, an island south of Azalea)​

During the competition, Trainers race on floating platforms pulled by Water-type Pokémon through Alto Mare's canals. There are security guards stationed around the course and most connecting waterways are either cleared or blocked off to avoid collisions with ships. Winners are awarded a glass medallion, an ode to Venice's historic blown glass-making industry, depicting the Legendary Latias and Latios surrounding the Soul Dew.

Pokémon Balloon Race (between Ecruteak and Olivine)​

Trainers ride in hot-air balloons shaped like various Pokémon. They can use Flying-type Pokémon to steer, and Fire-type Pokémon for hot-air. The balloons must first ascend to 1,000 feet up in the air and race towards a target on the ground. They then must drop a weight and try to land as close to the X on the target as possible.


Johto Locations​

Arborville (North of Olivine)​

The treetop village lies close to the Lake of Life, home to the Mythical Pokémon Celebi who is regarded as the "Voice of the Forest" by Arborville's residents.

The Lake of Life has crystal-clear waters and is surrounded by dense woods. Celebi is known to frequent the area and is revered as the "Voice of the Forest", with a stone shrine built in its honor in the area. A large number of Pokémon also live in and around the lake. The water is known to have healing properties.

The area is known to have rare pokémon.



Battle Park (between Mahogany Town and Blackthorn City)​

It is similar to the Battle Frontier but much smaller. The park has a series of powerful, rental Pokémon that visiting Trainers can battle against. The park's Pokémon all know unique moves.

Characific Valley (between Violet City and Azalea Town)​

The Charicific Valley is a training ground for Charizard so they can become stronger.

Coastline Gym (Outskirts of Blackthorne)​

Led by Dorian, the Gym specializes in Water-type Pokémon. Unlike the other Water-type Gyms, Dorian holds his battles underwater. Unofficial Gym.

Remoraid Mountain (between Olivine & Ecruteak)​

Contains Remoraid Lake & the Colossal Tree Tribe Ruins

Dragon Holy Land (Blackthrone City)​


Slowpoke Temple (Between Mahogany and Blackthorn)​

Thousands of people come here for training. It is called the Slowpoke Temple because the area around the temple has been a home to Slowpoke for many generations. Hundreds of years ago, a priest achieved enlightenment by meditating with a Slowpoke. The temple was built in his honour. Lake Slowpoke is near here.

Onix Tunnel (between Azalea & Goldenrod)​

The Onix Tunnel is a cave with many stalagmites and stalactites. Despite the dangerous wild Onix that live inside, the cavernous pass is a shortcut through the mountains.

Pokémon Jujitsu Academy (between Goldenrod & Ecruteak)​

Many young Trainers and their Pokémon come to the academy to study the principles of Pokémon Jujitsu. Students learn about moves such as Spider Web, Stun Spore, Double Team, and Spikes, all moves in the "Pokémon Jujitsu Tradition".

Students in red uniforms study battle techniques, students in yellow uniforms take tactical classes where they try to make moves more effective, and students in blue uniforms study health and nutrition. This last study is very special, however, as it is given only once a year and people from all over the world come to the academy just to take these classes
