Pokemon: Journey With Me

"I wonder where he might be... But where? Let me get a map." Hydrox said, turning on a Pokénav. "This should locate the buildings. It might help."
Kanna didn't look worried and pointed to a rock. "There he is We win!" Kanna said playing with Flareon's paws. "We get to hide next!"
"THIS ISN'T HIDE AND SEEK!" he smacked her head.
"Seriously? Grow up. We have a contest." Hydrox reminded her. "But if I HAVE to..." Hydrox sighed.
Flareon shook her head and took a few steps back. "That hurt..." She rubbed her head, her eyes filling with tears. "And he is over there see....a-and I am grown up...that really hurt waaaaa!" She started crying.
"Ah great..." Kutsu sighed rubbing his temples. "Flareon help!" Flareon turned her head away, and Luxes shook her head and started licking Kana's face.
Hydrox breathed out, annoyed. "Sorry." He said blankly. "I didn't mean anything by it. We have better things to do than whine."
"She's always been like this, very very bipolar." Kutsu sweat dropped.
"Only Luxes understands me..." She mumbled hugging the electric type, and standing up and walking away from the boys with a 'hymph!'
Evon was shoving something back into his vest when he turned around to see his new friends. "Where did you guys come from?!" he said, taking a step back in shock.
"Well, we were looking for you." Hydrox replied. "Kanna walked off. I think we upset her..."
"That's nothing," Kutsu sighed, and looked after his twin. "When we were five I told her I wished she wasn't my sister, she ran into the street and got hit by a car. Her left leg is fake. So getting hit and scolded doesn't hurt her as much as it does other people."
"What? That's crazy..." Hydrox said. He looked around the area. "Should I go look for her?" He asked. "I think we should stay together."
"Don't worry, she has Flareon and she won't go that far with out telling me." Kutsu shrugged. "She may seem like a ditz but she's smart, she pasted the Elite Academy at the age of 10, so she's fine."
"Elite academy? Whats that?" Hydrox asked. "Is it a Pokémon school?"
"You've never heard of the Elite academy?!" Kutsu asked in shock. "You get trained and taught by the greatest gym leaders, breeders, pokemon doctors, and every top teacher in the world! Even getting in you have to pass the entrance exam, and most of the time you don't graduate, or even get accepted! And she was the only 10 year old in the history of the academy to get accepted, it was on the news so I'm surprised you hadn't heard!"
"Oh, so that was the big thing about the academy? I taught a battle and evolution class there for a while." Evon said.
"Wow! I had to learn from Pokémon myself. Lucky her." Hydrox said, with a hint of jealousy.
"She was forced into the car." Kutsu chuckled at the memory. "She said she'd rather die than go to the academy, 'Academy's are for egg heads! I just want my Eevee and I can teach myself!' was what she literally yelled as we were pushing into the car. She was pissed, but she got over it."
"Hm. Sounded like me when I first had to work at the gym. I was scared. And mad. I didn't want to leave the Pokémon." Hydrox smirked. "They were my best friends, as far as I knew."
"You really love your pokemon don't you?" Kutsu nodded in understanding. "I think you're a good trainer, and when I have my Gym I hope you'll come and battle me."
"I love Pokémon! They can be so nice!" Hydrox said back. "I think I will come to the gym." Hydrox smiled.
"Becoming a gym leader isn't as easy as you think." Evon said. "When I passed mine I had to take a three-hour break, I was so exhausted."
"I know it won't be easy," Kutsu said seriously. "But I will try my hardest, and succeed if it kills me. I've had this dream since I was a child, and have been working on it. Besides, Kanna strangely has a lot of friends that are Gym leaders and they help me when they can."
"He's right. Even training to be an Assistant and Substitute, it is super tiring!" Hydrox said.
"Well, now you've got a gym leader friend." Evon said. "Maybe I can lend you my notes and info from my Gym Leader's Exam."
"Thanks, and even if I don't make it, at least I tried right?" Kutsu smiled.
"Yeah, you did. I hope you make it when you do try out."
"Yep. That's the spirit!" Hydrox said back.
"That means a lot, thanks guys!" He then looked around. "Kanna should be cooled down by now where is she?"
"No idea. Let me look!" Hydrox climbed back into the tree and poked his head out. "Skarmory you can help too!" Hydrox said, letting his Skarmory search for Kanna.
Kanna was walking when she saw a crying pokemon, it's paw was hurt. Kanna tied up its paw, but it was still crying. Suddenly she remembered a song her mother once sung her when she had scraped her knee. "Come stop your crying, It will, be alright, Just take my hand, Hold it tight, I will protect you, From all around you, I will be here, Don't you cry, For one so small, You seem so strong, My arms will hold you, Keep you safe and warm." She sung it to the pokemon, and soon it calmed down and ran back into the forest. "So cute!" She smiled after it and petted her Flareon.
Skarmory looked around, trying to find Kanna. He flew forwards with its titanium wings cutting through the air. Skarmory finally found Kanna. Skarmory flew down, but unfortunately, its menacing appearance seemed like that of an enemy. It looked in shock at her. It screeched as if to say If you want to come back you can. Hydrox sent me to check on you.
"Thank you," She smiled at the pokemon, and reached out her hand, careful not startle the pokemon. "I'll come back in a second, okay?" She started walking back to her companions. When she got there she just smiled and nudged her head forward, telling them to hurry up.
When your ready, follow me. Skarmory screeched, waiting for Kanna to confirm she wanted to come back.
She followed the large pokemon back to her brother and friends, a small smile playing on her face.
"Look whos back!" Hydrox said, jumping down from the trees. "Ow!" He yelled as he hit the ground. "I forgot to bend my knees, but that doesn't matter. I see my Skarmory is fine, but how are you doing?" He asked, his Skarmory on his head. "Oh, and I'm okay. I know Skarmory weighs over a hundred pounds. It only hurts if he has his talons out."
Kanna raised a brow but said nothing. Stretching, her back made a popping sound. "Lets go!"
"Okay then! Lets go!" Hydrox said, putting Skarmory back in its Great ball.
