What? Someone is going to tell the girl that she can't be rocking out on her own theme song so loudly, in the evening, in a hotel where she's surrounded by others people, many of which are dead tired from a long journey?
Oh yay, neat. So should I just dive in or wait until the next in text day if everyone seems to be turned in for the moment aside from the character you said you're introducing and Floyd and Cassie. By the by, I read through all of it so far so I think i'm caught up unless I skimmed a few important details I wasn't aware of.
I recommend making sure you get all the details from the character intro's in this thread as well. But other than that you're free to jump in whenever you like and pester whoever you fancy. Go join the red haired lady in the restaurant area, or pick a fight with the man and his Mightyena a few tables over. Flirt with Salem, get robbed by Lady, pick on Floyd and earn the wrath of all the ladies posting in this thread, or go pound on Amara's door ruining the poor girls day even further. So many option really.
Go ahead and jump in now I would like to have all active characters set in on the first night.
Huh, is it strange that I got a wave of sadness from Cassie's character when I read Salem's leave, also in his slight shift in character there, I don't know if this was intentional or not, or if I'm seeing things. It's very intriguing.
I just want to point out that I could not stop laughing when I read this part. I could just picture Cassie huffing and rolling her eyes in exasperation. I am so pleased you commented on it the way I hoped you would.
I've picked out all my words very carefully. I'm curious to learn how you interpret everything and how Cassie will respond to things.
Sorry about all the questions, but I just want to ask if I may add a little bit of "depth" towards Damian and have him be Sinnoh Champ? Im not sure if that spot was taken in this story or not by an existing character but Im just thinking of Damian from a broader perspective and ways to play with him since I literally thought of the character while asking if I could join haha
Nah, it's more like... A flat, deadpan face really. It's funny how you got the impression that she would do that, she's the type of person to go, "Oh, well that happened. Okay. Cool." than actually get fired up and angry. Nevertheless, I'm happy to please.
Well, one of Astral's characters is already, the Sinnoh champ, so, no I don't think so.
Honestly I think you add more dept to the character by not making him any sort of champion.
Sinnoh champ is taken by one of Astrals characters. Sorry.

I'm thinking about putting Dalilah on the same hotel floor as Salem and that he has to pass by her room to get to his own further down the hallway, but i'll wait and see what you have planned first Astralkitsune.
I don't mind questions at all. Amara is the current sinnoh champ but if you want to be a past champ or a different league that is ok or even someone who lost to one of the final fours.
This is unrelated, but when Salem told Cassie his room number, I had to restrain from having Cassie tease him about wanting her in his room ahaha!

Had a bit of a block with the first post but figured I should get one out there :/ I'm not sure if I want to follow up on the champion Idea or not, but would Unova be open to be the champ of?
If you're insistent on the idea then, sure. Unova is open. ^^

I saw a similar scenario in my mind when I was writing my entry and therefor look some liberties and kinda forced Cassie to want to say something there. But on the off chance that she actually would tell him her room number I had Salem decide to leave. If he found out her room number there was a chance he would feel the urge to visit her and he knows he's bad a resisting urges. In short he didn't want to tempt himself into forcing his company on her too much if that makes any sense.

I connected the dots when I read your explanation on Salem being bad at resisting urges, and in an attempt at common curtesy, Cassie would tell him her's. But still, I have to commend your ability to predict and move things in the direction you want. You'd be deadly in a battle sequence.

I hadn't considered that yet to be honest. In most RP's I've done I always sorta pulled back from combat situations to let those that enjoyed such things more have freer reign. But then again, before I started here I had no idea I could write at all, let alone well enough for people to positively comment on it. Imagine the possibility though, with a violin body, they'd be able to play a lot more than just a battle cry. It'd actually be pretty beautiful.
Especially if they're exposed to a luxury resort ambiance like every single day.
True, it even states in it's dex entry that It can make more than that one cry.

I kinda cringed a bit, he seems really intent on showing off. Not showing off in a Delilah or Alex way. He's the type of character that Floyd doesn't like.
Well to each his/her own really. He just has a lot of things going for him that are totally not my thing, but that also makes his existence in this story interesting. I'll have to decide how Salem deals with his type.Heh wasn't quite trying to go for creepiness but I guess it came across that way
