His Royal God-Slayer
"Eyugh!" Dedede slammed his hammer over Cody's corpse, reducing the body into a bloody smear on the ground, some of which landing on the King's face and, worse yet, specially tailored robe. Saving his disgust/indignancy for later, Dedede leapt back as Vader approached. He heard the crack of a tree as it was uprooted and, fully aware of Vader's tricks now, skillfully grabbed the trunk as he flew back, swinging it towards Vader as to keep him from approaching safely. But with each swing, the lightsaber reduced the tree to the trunk, which Dedede tossed at the dark lord, adding a volley of missiles for good measure. Missiles that, in all likelihood, were to be frozen by Vader's telekivision-or whatever it was.
But Dedede anticipated this, and while Vader would be busy with that, Dedede would back up further would slam his hammer on the ground, sending more electric shockwaves towards Vader that would detonate the missiles anyway!

A vertical slash resulted in the remainder of the tree flying by either side of the sith, cut straight down the middle. His opponent was quick to waste little time, using the malet to fire off more missiles. Wary of his diminished force abilities, Vader opted for the route that required the least amount of complexity and effort, raising his hand to form a gravity well in the center of the missiles, all of which rapidly converged upon each other, erupting in another explosion that released fire and smoke.

Lowering his arm, Vader began to move forward again---but halted, head quizzically turning to the left. He sensed . . .

"Ngh," the dark lord grunted, raising his forearm in front of him like a shield, an invisible barrier appearing before him without a second to spare, another electric shock wave barreling his way. Sliding back a few inches, Vader dissipated his shield as the attack diminished. "Predictable," he stated, and thrust his free hand forward, projecting a force push to throw Dedede into the raging inferno that had continued to grow behind him.

Dedede grinned as Vader was pushed back. Clearly his grueling training had an effect. Now if only he was fighting his rival...
The nostalgic thought was cut short when Vader somehow sent a powerful force on him, pushing the King back. He managed to hold his ground, but the inferno from behind made its presence known in all the worst ways.
Dedede grunted as the flames licked at his back, further singeing his robe. Not wanting to deal with another force push from Vader, Dedede swung his hammer around, twirling with enough force to create a gale of wind, intending to put out the flames.
Instead, the gale simply picked up the inferno, circling Dedede in a tornado of fire! Not what he expected, but he could work with this.
"Take this!" Dedede cried out as he proceeded to Hammer Flip, digging his hammer into the earth as he did so, sending smoldering chunks of earth towards Vader.

Interesting. Darth narrowed his eyes behind red-tinted lenses. The expression the penguin wore indicated he had not been expecting to pick up an inferno with his swing. The force wasn't necessary to know that. Calmly, the dark lord sheathed his weapon, the crimson blade vanishing as he tucked the hilt to his waist.

"Take this!" barked the opponent.

Vader didn't reply, instead raising his hands before him. A shimmering gale seemed to manifest, and---

"Hrk-" the sith lord winced as chunks of earth pummeled heavily into him. He dropped to a knee once more, life support lights winking, respirator beginning to increase in pitch and intensity, ever so slightly, yet his suit held on, and so did his arms, which hadn't faltered. Slightly battle-damaged, the addition of heat and fire didn't seem to affect Lord Vader, any embers appearing on his ebony armor smoldering out rather quickly.

Instead, he continued what he'd started. The shimmering gale that had engulfed the tornado of fire was forcibly - and rapidly - making the inferno close in on Dedede from all sides, threatening to swallow him in its ferocity, yet that was not all, as Vader's intense concentration would push it further, aiming to not only incinerate the bird, but crush it in the ever-smaller orb of force closing around it.

"I have taken it," Darth proclaimed, rising back to both feet. "Now I take your life."

Caged Penguin
As his attack pelted Darth Vader, Dedede regained his balance from the technique, before preparing his hammer to continue the assault. That is, until his hammer slammed against nothing, and the King bounced back. Dedede saw the flames close in, heard Vader's threat, and realized his situation.
Despite the rather unnerving place he was in, Dedede held his hammer firmly, glaring at Vader through the enclosing barrier.
"Wanna bet?" he taunted. Once again, the King began to spin, with more vigor this time. The inferno was picked up once more, the gale pushing against the barrier, which failed to close further on the King due to his stellar Beyblade impression. Dedede himself was a blur as he rapidly spun faster and faster...until he used his momentum to leap up, hammer first.
To the King's (veiled) surprise, it actually worked! Whatever barrier Vader used shattered, and Dedede leapt high into the air, leaving a trail of fire as he ascended. And now that Vader couldn't see him, it was time to bring the pain.
From the smoke above, a downpour of missiles dived down at Vader, many in differing angles.

With thinly veiled annoyance, Vader took a step back as his force barrier was broken, and expelled, engulfing the battlefield in smoke. Lowering his arms, swallowed up in the smog, Vader was as unseeable to Dedede as Dedede was to him---except Vader didn't require eyes to observe. The missiles came in, as was expected, this being the only ranged attack the avian seemed capable of. The dark lord moved within the smoke, and the missiles closed in where Dedede expected the sith to remain. Several missiles erupted against the ground, propelling more debris into the air, a few others blowing against each other, though a few wiggled out of the devastation, spinning haphazardly in different directions.

As Dedede began to descend (or whatever he planned to do from his aerial position), those surviving missiles were quick to burst from the smokescreen, heading directly for the penguin as guided by the force, Vader using the camouflage to move unseen, using the force to move small swirls of smoke here and there, making it appear many things were moving within the smog, making tracking the dark lord a difficult visual task.

Yet still, the wildfire had grown too great. Dedede's attempt to weaponize it had only saved a smoldering portion of the forest, as the clearing was nearly surrounded (plus there was a giant kaiju fight not that far away, also surrounded by an uncontrolled fire that was eating up the greenery).

The Youthful Sage

Eitri took a moment to review where she was and evalute if stay here continued to be a good idea. They seemed to be far away from the fighting. The only way people could reach them would be by climbing up the mountain, and there was not much cover for them to arrive stealthily. She glanced down to Belowski as he continued to sleep, making sure he was still deeply unconscious. Was it really the best move to stick around this child?

With no signs of opponents approaching, Eitri decided that staying with Belowski was an acceptable move, at least for now. She turned her attention back to the duel disk and duel monster cards in hand. Eitri gestured for the eye to return to Grim Brokkr as she looked down at the cards. The monsters depicted did not look particularly fierce or strong. A small mushroom creature. A strange rock-like doll. An orange sphere-creature with pink wings.

"Experiment number one..." Eitri muttered to herself. Kneeling in front of the duel disk, Eitri carefully pressed a few of the buttons she could see. After a few attempts, the red center light turned on and the panel extended. The duel disk was activated. Eitri drew a card from the deck. It was the small rock monster, Haniwa. A good choice, as she did not want that Mokey Mokey creature floating around. Eitri placed the Haniwa card on the duel disk, in the same zone she had seen Belowski place the Mokey Mokey card.

Belowski

With the duel disk now online, the card made a audio cue as brief ripple of rainbow circuitry was lit underneath. Suddenly, a structure of light appeared before them. The light overlayed with a newfound texture, one of the rock creature displayed on the card.

"Oooooooooo." It bellowed in a deep, yet quiet voice.

It certainly wasn't one for words. It looked around with it's yellow eyes, the rest of it's body not moving. There was no opponent, and Belowski was on the ground, sleeping. That...wasn't a good sign. However, instead of looking at who summoned him, it creaked and fell backwards with a thud. It was now staring, face up at the sky, seemingly copying Belowski's lead of laying down. The blue donning duelist surely had some rather 'motivated' monsters.

Psyduck
The Duck Pokémon was a bit confused as to why Kirby was staring back at his captors. But then it hit him: he must want to ambush them.

"Psy-psyduck!"

The Duck got to vegetated cover, peering at the humans, same as Kirby.

Bowser
Through the plume of smoke and dust created by the fireball explosion Bowser trudged, though a second shockwave blew all that away, and Nikolai's attack began. King Koopa raised both of his arms over his face in preparation for the attack, and planted himself in a firm stance.
Then came the earthy hail, each rock shattering itself against the ruler's tough scales, Bowser taking little injury from the improvised projectiles. Post-barrage, he lowered his arms.

"Is that all you got, chump?"

NIKOLAI

He stopped for a moment, staring at the king of the koopas, who had lowered his arms, jaunting out a taunt. That attack hadn't done much. Neither were going to make any kind of reliable progress against the other, their own physical defense a bit too great.

"Niet," Nikolai replied, grabbing the front of his shirt and tearing it off, tossing the cloth aside, exposing his bare chest, covered in deep and thick white scars front and back, as well as copious amounts of chest hair. Reaching down, he grasped a flask from his pocket, the small metallic container appeared very old and beat up, dents and scratches making up its surface.

With a sniff, Nikolai swiveled off the cap, then rose the drink to his mouth, taking a single swig.

Nothing seemed to happen as he swiveled the lid back on, but once he put the flask back into his pocket, the Russian's veins notably began to bulge beneath his steel-like skin, and a dark blue aura surrounded both of his fists. His SOUL had activated. His power output had greatly increased.

Vodka Rage.

"Let's-a go," the spirit chuckled, before he burst from the ground, leaving another, much larger crater in his wake, a shockwave bursting from where he'd just been as Nikolai lunged forward, ramming his fist for Bowser's face, on the koopa in but a second.

The Youthful Sage

Eitrti stared down at the rock monster. On some level, she should have expected this outcome. Eitri could see the dirt disturbed by the creature as it lay on the ground. It definetly had physical form and was not an illusion. But the way it appeared, as if an illusion was projected. Most bizarre. Eitri had expected a miniature gate to form, not this. The young sage moved closer to the Hanewa, looking down so she would be in it's vision as it looked up.

"Can you understand me? Can you speak?" Eitri asked the duel monster.

Belowski...er...Haniwa

"Wa." Haniwa uttered, the simple note echoing through it's rocky casing.

Didn't seem much for conversation. It didn't even want to move it's pupils much in response to Eitri. ...Could it really be that lazy? Didn't look like this was getting anywhere fast. After a few seconds of her looking, it's gaze fixated somewhat on her. It seemed kind of confused, as if wondering why she wasn't sleeping as well.

King Bowser
The Spirit, in response to Bowser's taunting, ripped off his shirt and took out a flask of something, something that made his veins bulge. Some sort of power up?
Never mind that, Koopa's main concern at the moment was his enemy rocketing towards the royal mug. This time, Bowser was ready, and raised a scaly tree trunk of an arm to block the attack.
The force was not lost, however, and Bowser was sent skidding backwards a good ways. This guy really had some muscle, but no one challenges King Koopa and gets away with it. Bowser growled.
He hopped upwards, then stomped on the ground to propel him over Nikolai, the stomp summoning a shockwave like the last one except lit aflame! Then, once above his foe, the tortoise receded inside his shell, twisted to face the spiked side down, and spun downwards as a brutal, bony blender in an attempt to rip the Russian apart!

The Youthful Sage

"Hm." Eitri muttered. "Perhaps, but no clear indication."
The child looked down to the duel disk once again, then back to Haniwa. She wasn't getting any results from the rock monster, perhaps another one would be more appropriate. Eitri removed the Haniwa's card from the duel disk, waiting to see if it would disappear and how it would do so.

Upon removing the Haniwa's card from the duel disk, Eitri looked through Belowski's deck once again. Perhaps this monster would have more information. Happy Lover. Eitri placed the card depicting the fairy monster onto the duel disk.

Belowski...Haniwa-OK. Happy Lover.

Just as quick as Haniwa de-materialized, Happy Lover took it's place. It's pink feathers fluttering to life as it flapped it's wing's out. It looked like an upbeat spherical angel with a red heart on it's head.

"Uuuuuu~!" The cheery monster chimed.

It flew in a quick circle, stopping at Belowski's unconscious body. It cocked it's head, blinking, wondering how it got summoned without him being conscious. That's when it turned around, finding Eitri with it's partner's fuel disk. It gave a pouting expression at her, thinking she stole it right from under him.

NIKOLAI

"YA lyublyu svoyu rabotu," Nikolai chuckled to himself as Bowser skid back, anger flaring in the koopa's eyes, surprised that even defensive, he'd been knocked back such a ways. The king proceeded to leap into the air a short distance, before using that downward momentum to bound, leaving a shockwave behind, not too dissimilar from those Nikolai himself had been conjuring, and the ones Bowser had used prior, though the blasts was magically alight with fire. Not something that bothered the Russian, fire was something he was quite immune to the affects of, but there was the potential of it ruining his rough and tough facial hair, which wasn't an appealing prospect.

Taking a step back as flames engulfed him, then dispelled, the Russian sniffed, smelling burnt hair. That sucked. Bowser had flipped upside-down in the air, directly above, but Nikolai did something that was no doubt surprising. Just before the koopa could gain any momentum with his spin, the Russian had already bounded up to meet him, hands grasping upon several of the shell's spikes, and using his upward momentum they both began to spin in a direction Bowser hadn't intended, flipping this way and that, and with Nikolai's grasp canceling out the spin, Bowser would begin to feel a strange sense of weakness washing over him, as though the energy was being sucked from his body---and it was, Nikolai's dark blue aura spreading over the koopa's shell, slowly beginning to sap his life force before they'd so much as touched the ground, and Nikolai's tight grip made flinging him off more a far more challenging prospect that it had been earlier, not even mentioning his physical enhancements from his alcoholic beverage. In fact, if the King did attempt to spin and throw off the spirit, Nikolai's response would be to try and rip out the two spikes he held, and use them like violent ice picks against the turtle.

Bowser
Though the shell was impermeable to the aura, Nikolai's magic gained some purchase by filtering into the limb-holes of the bony armor. As they tumbled through the air, it took Bowser a moment to attempt to spin again. The spinning began right before impact with the ground, in fact. Upon hitting the ground, he only picked up rotational speed, though his foe's plan for brutality failed; King Bowser's shell would be a feat to even crack.
If Nikolai stayed on despite the intense Gs, the shelled beast put himself on course to smash into as many trees as possible until the Russian was off, which was to be followed up with the shell following the flung foe before he could recover.

Pete
His opponent leapt up with a slice from a mean-looking machete. However, with a flap of his mighty leaves, Petey made a near-dodge, the machete not tasting sap as of yet! However, this came at a cost of Petey losing control over his already-awkward flight, and he faceplanted into the dirt. He quickly pushed himself to his feet though, prepared to continue the brawl.
With a swipe of his right leaf, he sent a wave of human-sized tornadoes in the direction of Buzzo. With his left, he sent a Petey-sized whirlwind that would swing in a circle a couple times before dissipating. A one-two combo of aerokinetic pain!

Megalon
The kaiju's rain of hell was cut short by a tag-team attack: the massive lasers of Sateramon scorching its wings while the forceful inertia of Sonic pounded into its face!

"EEEEEEEEEEPPP!!!"

Megalon lost its gift of flight, and crashed for a second time since the battle started, taking out another couple trees. The deity got to its feet again, though noticably slower and shakier than before. It returned fire towards Sateramon with not one, but two blasts of the Assassin-Laser!

Omega
As the robot neared the humans, he disengaged its thrusters, and ground to a halt in the desert sand. With eyes lacking emotion, the bot raised both arms towards the now-pair, and retracted both hands into said arms, substituting them for miniguns. The weapons began to rotate exponentially faster.

"HELLO. YOU ARE ABOUT TO BE UTTERLY ANNIHALATED. PLEASE DO NOT RESIST."

With that, he opened fire, one stream of hot lead towards Leon, and the other towards Masaru.

Sateramon & Mediamon & Sonic - Oh My!

After grounding the Kaiju, the ground shook, dust flew up, and trees bowed. Sateramon smirked as the creature was downed, the western appmon shook his index finger at the beast.

"Tch Tch Tch. Size doesn't equate to power. Weakness comes with size, nai nda na~"

That's when the creature suddenly exploded out with energy twin branches shooting up at him. Surprise lit his eyes as he dove to the left, not before his two right wings were severed however, the snapped ends dissipating into bits of floating zeros and ones.

"Damn it..."

His remaining two wings allowed him to somewhat slow his rapid descent into the treeline, his boots digging in to the ground, screeching him to a halt. Sateramon looked to his wounded wings, their colors flickering as one rectangle panel at a time they began to reconstruct. It would take about fifteen minutes for it to be operational again, not optimal. Had he been hurt that bad? Or had his powers somehow been diminished.

.
..
...

"Huh? You hear that?" Astra exclaimed from underground

"Hard not to, yo."

"He's right above us! If we can get something off point blank...we could cause some real damage!"

"Ah! I like what I'm hearin'!" Mediamon nodded with a grin. "Alrighty! I take it we are in for a double feature? Give me the floor, yo!"

Astra backed up, allowing Mediamon to step into the center of the tunnel, stretching and cracking his neck before the panels on it's ears began to light up.

"We wanna flick so stunnin', so weird, so big that it'll wrangle this guy real good! Please give a hand for our featured presentation! VirtualVerse!"

His panels glew a bright cyan as Mediamon struck a pose, beams of light shooting out from the panels. It began to construct something long...big...big! So big in fact, that it began to burst forth into the tunnel walls, wriggling and reeling to life! It was a massive, black serpent. Spikes lining it's back and a twisted mix of color accenting it. It would attempt to dig under the ground, wrapping it's body around the Kaiju's arms, and then it's body, effectively restricting the beast. Then, it would rear it's head...s. It had two heads, one inside of it's mouth!

"It's so weird...so big..." Astra said in awe. "So..."

Mediamon and Astra both posed together in excitement for what was just summoned.

"Coooool!!!"

.
..
...

As the massive Sand Worm was to hold the Kaiju down, there was one factor forgotten. Sonic, flew straight down from above, gaining speed from his fall. He was preforming a bounce, energy coating around him the longer he fell. The goal? The use the creature's vulnerable state to plummet a fatal blow directly through it's bug like eye!

The Youthful Sage

The angel-like creature didn't seem too pleased to see Eitri, looking from the duel disk to the sage. Eitri noticed that while the creature was unable to speak the common tongue, it did seem slightly intelligent. Mokey Mokey, Haniwa, now this. Eitri was seeing a theme with all Belowski's monsters. They would not be providing her with any answers.
"You are more energetic than the other creatures Belowski has at his beck and call." Eitri noted to Happy Lover. "Be calm. I have no intention to hurt your master."

Eitri once again looked over the battlefield. As interesting as the duel disk was, she needed to re-focus her efforts of escaping this place. Even from this distance, Eitri could tell the battles in the center of the arena were raging fiercely. Using Grim Brokkr to fly up and investigate the floating numbers was too much of a risk. So that left investigating the ruined city in the distance. Muttering a spell under her breath, Eitri gestured towards Belowski. A gentle breeze surrounded the boy, and he began to gently float into the air. He floated closer to Eitri, staying but a few feet off the ground and a few feet away from the sage.

Fire Emblem Legendary Effect 2: Pair Up!

Eitri picked up Belowski's duel disk, placing it in her long, blond hair. Strands of her hair wrapped around the device as she placed the deck of cards back in the duel disk, and the disk was firmly secured.
"My main desire is to find a way to escape this place. Your master does not seem to oppose the idea, so I have no reason to harm him." Eitri explained to the Happy Lover. Muttering another spell, Eitri began to float off the ground. She looked to the duel monster. "You wish to protect him? Then come with me."

With that, Eitri began to fly in the direction of the ruined city. She stayed only a foot or two off the ground, so not to attract attention. Thanks to the magic, Belowski's sleeping form was pulled along (also still floating). She stayed to the mountain area, looking to head around the fighting and wildfires instead of through them.

Happy Lover gasped as the witch had placed the their master's duel disk firmly in their possession, and placed some kind of enchantment on Belowski to keep him floating just behind her. She didn't like this situation. But considering the witch had complete control over the situation...she had little choice.

"Uuuuuu..."

The petite Angel cooed in a sad tone, following along begrudgingly. Her eyes looked up and around at the furry forest with anxiety, before looking back at Eitri's hair. Maybe if she was able to hit her just right...she might be able to dislodge the duel disk. Maybe...

Megalon
The flying nuisance was knocked from the sky, but where was everyone else? As soon as Megalon began looking around, it sensed something. Wiggling, writhing, worming through the earth beneath his very feet. It didn't sense the rumbling before- it was like whatever the disturbance had just appeared! As the kaiju puzzled, the worm acted, successfully wrapping itself around Megalon's limbs.

"GRAAAHHHHH!!! EEEEEEPP! EEEEEEP!"

The creature struggled helplessly against the binding of the worm, distracted from the blue bullet that was descending upon its eye. With a sickening crunch, a sizable dent appeared in one of the kaiju's compound eyes. Translucent green blood oozed from the cracks, and of course, it hurt a lot.

"EEEEEEEP! EEEEEEEEEEEEEPPP!!!"

The monster was dazed, a large blind spot appearing in its vision, mostly dark, but with startling flashes of color still being transmitted by partially functional ommatidia. The Seatopian protector stumbled backwards as the worm faded, before falling flat on its back.

"Grraahhh....!"

With its remaining strength, Megalon flipped itself over, clasped its Omni-Drill together, and began drilling straight down into the dirt.

The beast grew weaker. It retreated back underground, not too far away from the hole Zed and his allies were hiding in. That left their position as a risky one, prompting the young man to snap his fingers, two vermillion barriers surrounded Astra and Mediamon, lifting them into the air and out of the hole, dropping them just next to it.

Zed himself flew upwards with his golden wing, raising a hand to manifest an orange-red swords, glowing with energy and heat, fueled by his Septima. Once Megalon reappeared, he would glide along the beast’s side with his weapon out, leaving a burning gash as he passed by!

Successful hit! The green ooze shot out of the monster's eye, abusing the hedgehog to cringe in disgust.

"If I knew I'd make THAT big a mess, I'd have brought a coat!"

This was no time for banter, the beast was about to retreat. He didn't have anything up his sleeves at the moment, landing on a nearby tree branch. He just needed to drive it out of the ground somehow...

"Blue. Leave that to me..."

Sateramon stepped forward from behind, his wing like coattails still showing damage from before. Sonic could help but smirk at this.

"You sure about that, cowboy? From the looks of it, that guy plucked your wings."

"And that'll be it's final mistake...Nai nda na!!"

He brought both of his guns out, firing a long steady burst. The long projectiles ping and ponged, taking sharp turns before they would scrap directly through the dirt, effectively removing the disturbed upper layer of dirt from where the beast dug and blasting it from behind.

...

"Woah, that's trippy." Astra said, being plopped outside of the cave entrance. "At least glad this guy's on our side..."

"Yo, Astra!" Mediamon called. "What we gonna do? I can't see 'em!"

"Something...tells me that big fire and scary has a plan."

Astra looked to Zed, who seemed all too eager to blast this beast. He had a plan! gripping his Appli driver, he held it out, pointing it at Zed.

"Mediamon! Let's let him take the spotlight for a bit!"

"Alrighty, Zed's got the mike! Yooooooooo!!!!"

Mediamon all of a sudden dematerialized as Astra pressed a button on his Appli Driver. Suddenly, a rainbow blast erupted from it, fire off directly to Zed. Suddenly, behind him was a translucent figure of Mediamon. It was acting as some sort of stand. Power began to flow directly into him. He was using Mediamon as an extra power boost!

"Appli-SYNC!" The device yelled out.

"It's your show now, own this thing!" Mediamon cheered from behind, power flowing through Zed's veins.

Megalon
Sateramon's lasers would not reach Megalon, for it was already too deep within the earth. The pain was brutal, and the kaiju barely was able to hold onto consciousness as it escaped downwards. It continued downwards to what it believed was safety, but was eventually met by a shimmering rainbow barrier hidden in the rock. Megalon had picked up a lot of momentum in its burrowing, and so the Omni-Drill was instantly vaporized as it struck the border. Much of the inertia was taken by this, but gravity still pulled the creature towards the energy, and pressed its face against the burning iridescent power, beginning to burn away at the monsters skull. The monster desperately writhed in agony, though it was utterly trapped in the vertical tunnel. It beat its wings, but the scorched membranes were useless.

"GRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! GRRAAAAAAHHHH-EEEEEEEEPP!!! GRAAAAAa-"

The disintegration eventually got to Megalon's brain, the pressure of its own weight grinding its face into the burning barrier. The corpse continued to dissolve for a couple moments, until-

BOOOOOOOM!

The energy had gotten to Megalon's Volcanic-Napalm Bomb Cell, igniting the kaiju's entire leftover stock of the biological grenades. At the surface, a pillar of flame shot from the tunnel that the Seatopian deity disappeared into just moments before. The number in the sky also changed.

NIKOLAI

Bowser spun, picking up the pace quickly as he went, but the King of the Koopas would be quick to find that Nikolai had a grip as strong as the shell was tough. Tree after they tree they slammed, but the bark just seemed to crumple against the Russian's back with each impact, before Bowser would suddenly feel a very rapid, very violent stop to his spinning.

Nikolai had slammed his legs down, burying them up to his knees as dirt kicked up in every direction, the spin stopping, though the moment it had, Nikolai used this moment to pick up the much larger creature, still ahold of the spikes, and begin rapidly slinging Bowser about, smashing the koopa against the ground this way and that, each impact appearing to grow exponentially more forceful than the last, almost as though Nikolai's strength were increasing the longer the alcohol was in his system, and for his finisher, the spirit of the Messiah swung Bowser into the air, flinging high as thunder reverberated through the arena again. Nikolai glanced toward the numbers in the sky as they ticked down by one.

Okay, now he was getting a bit pissed off. People were getting kills before him, and that was absolutely unacceptable.

LEON

Unfortunately, it was exactly as he'd feared. Another combatant, going out of its way to charge them, leading with a robotic threat before opening fire. The agent grit his teeth as he tensed, before he moved into action, leaping to the side, spinning through the air, turning his body perpendicular to the ground as he tucked his arms to his sides for a moment, and through the first wave of bullets he sailed.

Tucking into a roll, Leon took cover behind a rock, frowning at a small sting on his cheek. Raising a finger to it, he found blood. A bullet had grazed him. "Still better than giant flesh monsters," he muttered, before he bounded from cover, leaping several meters into the air, Matilda aimed at Omega. "Not annihilated." He taunted.

The weapon began to rapidly fire precision rounds, almost as quickly as the robot's own chaingun, but with far more precision than the more haphazard spewing it was doing, and with Leon's own skill, that precision was only accentuated greatly. Flying through the air, who rolled once more to a stop, closing the distance to Omega rapidly, unrelenting his fire. Even if it didn't do much, its suppressant capabilities would offer respite to the others. The robot's arrival hadn't even given Leon much time to register the weird (strangely familiar) duck creature that had kidnapped the pink wad of gum, or the thunder in the sky confirming another death. One thing at a time.

Dedede puffed up, choosing to remain in midair, scanning through the smoke. Not that it helped, since all he could see was said smoke and some of his missiles returning to-ah damn.
Dedede held his hammer forward, which opened up launch more flames, exploding the missiles as well as propelling the king through the air.
Dedede wasn't fond of the wildfire and smoke, especially since it hardly seemed to bother Vader. He needed a new arena, and quick.

Kirbnapped
Kirby watched the bot approched his allies, said something he couldn't hear at his distance, and proceeded to fire away at his friends.
"
Waaa!" Kirby cried, learning that the bot did not, in fact, see his greetings. Squeezing past Psyduck, Kirby waved his nubs as he closed in on Omega, attempting to catch his attention.

High-Flying Hare
Bugs was just about done with his carrot when he realized his rocket was losing altitude. Not that it would for much longer, as he approached the cursed wall that kept him here in the first place.
"Welp, guess this is my stop." Bugs shrugged, before nonchalantly hopping off the rocket. It exploded against the wall, and Bugs sourly noted it didn't leave a scratch.
"Well, guess brute force is outta the question too." he sighed, before noticing the floor approaching rapidly.
And yet Bugs chose to show off with a few flips and loudly announcing "Look out below!" as he dived into the ground, somehow digging into the earth like one would dive into water. He popped his upper half out, bowing to an applause coming from no one.
"Thank You! Thank You!" he thanked the unknown audience, seemingly unaware of the strange trio of folk he had just landed near.

VADER

As the remaining missiles erupted, Dedede took flight. The fleeing type, as he was already in the air, intending to leave the dark lord behind. With the grip of his fist, the force propelled the lingering smoke aside, revealing Vader in the center of the burning forest, his gaze following the penguin as it fled. He watched for several seconds, before turning to gaze at the numbers in the sky. The shaking of the ground signified something big had fallen, and the thundering sound that echoed, confirming another death, was given.

He was still near where others had been fighting the massive beast. While it wasn't often that Darth would go looking for fights, that seemed to be the entire purpose of this place. It didn't interest him, but he knew under all the charred skin and ebony armor that, had Anakin Skywalker remained, he would have been thrilled at the chance to prove himself in such circumstances, though Anakin was dead. Vader was all that remained. All he truly cared about was restoring his famed power, and laying waste to whatever had brought him here in the first place---if that was even an option. He still didn't have the power to defeat Palpatine, and if there was an entity beyond that, he wouldn't stand a chance, especially not in this state. By simply having no other alternatives, the sith would fight. As his suit recalibrated itself, recovering from much of the suffered damage in the battle, Darth Vader began to march his way toward the corpse of the kaiju.

"Hmph."

The mindless animal went ahead and got itself killed. The number ticked down once. Alas, they were 24 now. Sateramon cocked his hat down, his twin guns vanishing into nothingness.

"At last, that is dealt with." The cowboy spoke. "If you live to see past the coming hours, I may yet seek you out. I will expect nothing but your best. For now, you've earned this reprieve. Nai nda na."

With that, Sateramon walked off, his spurs clanking against the forest floor as he walked.

"Sooooo...should I like, desync or soemthing?"

Mediamon scratched his ears, still connected to Zed. Astra expected this to go far longer than the abrupt ending that came of it. Astra shrugged his shoulders, not knowing exactly.

"Ey, Zed guy. What you plan on doing up there now??" Astra questioned, legitimately confused.

Bowser
The Koopa didn't stop Nikolai as he swung the shell around, smashing it into the dirt as he did. The shell was tough enough to take the abuse without a problem. Then, Bowser found himself thrown straight into the air, and that's when he came out of his shell. It took him a moment to get his bearings, but when he did, he looked down at the Russian with a devilish grin. The King of the Koopas waited until the apex of his height, before he twisted in the air and accelerated himself downwards in one of his deadly butt-stomps!
The height only gave it power, as it gained speed all the way down, and a resounding boom signified the breaking of the sound barrier. Upon impact, it would create a damn big crater, whether it hit Nikolai or not!

NIKOLAI

BOOM!

Nikolai hadn't so much as lifted a toe to get out of the way, staring up with his signature lopsided grin, before he was beneath Bowser at the epicenter of the crater.

There was only a second, before Bowser was shoved off a few feet, and the Russian got to his feet, wobbling slightly as he shook his head. "Euehehehe! Was good one!" he laughed haughtily, nearly stumbling, before his body went rigid and he slammed his fist against his chest, a hit so loud that the strike thundered across the arena around them, almost sounding like another of the cannon sounds signifying a dead contestant. "Opyat' taki!" he challenged. "Means 'again'!"

Buzzo
Though he ended up missing his slash, Buzzo turned himself around to crash onto his opponent with yet another slash attempt. However, what he met with was his opponent throwing out twisters and whirlwinds at him. So, he did what anyone would do - he proceeded to quickly put his sword away and put up his hands. With the defense boost from joy and the guard now making him take less damage, Buzzo was planning on tanking it all. Refusing to budge from the spot, he had aimed to deliver an empowered, burning fist of joyous fury if he had managed to get close enough, assuming he'd manage to withstand the strong currents and maintain the straight path down toward his opponent without being thrown to another direction.

Turtle Lord
Bowser was tossed away by his opponent, still alive after the last attack. Usually, he'd be frustrated at his foe not being dead after such a thrashing, but Nikolai's enjoyment of the battle was somewhat contagious.

"So, you do speak something other than gibberish!"

King Koopa chucked, cracking his knuckles.

"Sure thing, I'll stomp you as many times as you want!"

Bowser held back on name-calling as he taunted this time, his Russian foe earning some respect for his odd priorities and tough physicality. Then, the testundine beast broke into a sprint, aiming for Nikolai so he could beat the Russian into the ground with his mighty reptilian fists!

NIKOLAI

"Tarabarshchina?" the Russian wrinkled his nose. "I speak Russian. Is proud language."

Bowser closed the distance, throwing a fist---but they had entered Nikolai's domain of specialty. He was a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, and he had more than enough speed to keep up with the Koopa. The first punch was knocked aside, a parry, the next knocked the other way as Nikolai swung up his elbow, hitting the underside of the fist to throw it upward, before Nikolai used the forward momentum to burst forth, crashing like a compact bullet train into Bowser's middle, shoulder-first. "Spoken by prouder people!"

As soon as he collided, he pushed off the ground, aiming to smash his cranium against the underside of Bowser's jaw before he could recover from the initial slam, followed by an attempt to grab the king by his head with both hands on either side, and bring it down in tandem with a knee swinging upward, aiming to double-whammy Bowser's jaw with both cranium and knee.

Masaru Takahara

The world's strongest man, not noticing Kirby's semi-abduction, cursed under his breath as Omega immeadiantly readied to attack. He darted to the side with a roll, narrowly dodging a red river of cerise foil which tore through the ground where Masaru initially stood.
Shoot, more bullets, I can't...woah!

And Masaru was distracted by Omega. The metallic chassis was awe-inspriring to Masaru, who had always been a fan of such 'creatures' he had seen when he was younger (Which had sparked a whole host of short-lived dreams when he was young, just like Western movies had). His excitement could only be contained by his worry over it's readiness to destroy and it's..well, having ranged weapons. Course, that's not to say he didn't have a shot at winning but...
Well, he'd rather not kill Omega just yet.

"Wait, Leon!" Masaru called after the government agent as Leon made his counterattack. Realising that trying to talk down Leon specifically may make him seem rather insane given Omega's immeadiate goals, he turned to Omega. "Hey, how about we calm things down, alright? There's no need for this just yet. Besides, you look way too cool for us to destroy just yet, how about we team up?" He shouted out to Omega, his voice shockingly booming - Masaru seemed to mimicking some sort of voice he'd heard before, Loud and Brash like a teenage caveman. "Wouldn't something as shiny and destructive as yourself like to see the world's strongest man in action instead of being on the recieving end?!" He added, holding back in a defensive stance.

Grief

"!" Grief let out a rather loud grunt through his comms, the sword beam counterracting the outcast's attempt to kick his foe, knocking the arsenal away in mid-air. A sheen around the arsenal's plating showed, revealing some sort of electromagnetic plating on top of the metal that seemed to take most of the blow in stride. "Not bad..."

A pause in the air for a second as Grief pressed a single button.
"But not perfect." A barrage of homing missiles and bullets launched out at the Ghostrunner, hacking through the air at a rapid pace, flowing like a deadly rapid before a waterfall.
What was that waterfall, though?

Soon enough, the true intent of Grief's attack was revealed - For all the Architect's attempts to block him out, Grief kept attacking with his hacking, though it was mostly the same strength he had used to control the Immortal's AI which seemed far inferior. Then the floodgates seemed to open; For as weak as the cyber attacks may be, expanse was apparently Grief's goal over calibre.

The flame-obsessed Schizophrenic
Prancing around, the Pyro could spot fantastical pink cotton candy clouds all around him rising into the bright blue skies, rainbows and sparks lit like beautiful, ginormous candles all around. Oh, how wonderful! All around him it was shining, like the whole world was cheering him on to keep going! And that, the mumbling devil did. Right off to that gingerbread manor he spotted in the distance, with small gumdrop and balloon animals roaming all about like little cartoon creatures! ..of course, where he was actually going was a large, rundown ruin that seemed to resemble what was once some kind of house, like something one would see in a horror movie that the protagonists would run straight towards without even thinking ahead if there were any kind of dangers lurking in there.

The Youthful Sage

Eitri flew low over the ground quickly. Although she was trying to stay near the wooded mountains, she appeared to be on a course towards one of the areas a fire had broken out. Perhaps she would have to change course... Going to the right put them too close to the strange wall of energy for Eitri's comfort. And who knows what enemies could be lurking in the center of the arena...

"Look out below!" A voice called out from above. Eitri instantly stopped herself and Belowski, quickly moving behind a tree as she tried to find where the voice came from. A grey blur streaked down from above, striking the ground and disappearing beneath it. After a moment, the creature emerged from the ground. It was truely a creature unlike one Eitri had seen before. It appeared to be a grey rabbit of some sort. But it's limbs were elongated and humanoid, even appearing to have hands in gloves. Hands with a thumb and only three fingers.

"Thank you! Thank you!" The rabbit creature called out. It hadn't appeared to have spotted them yet, but to Eitri's surprise the noise of applause rang out. Was this what she had theorized, a tournament for others to watch? No time to think about that! Eitri grabbed Belowski's duel disk from her hair, nudging the boy to try to wake up.
"Get up, Belowski! Someone is nearby!" Eitri hissed, trying to keep her eyes watching Bugs Bunny.

Psyduck & Omega
The huge machine began blasting the humans, much to The Duck's amusement. Then Kirby ran out, trying to catch the killer robot's attention, and Psyduck panicked.
Meanwhile, the machine was under fire and diplomacy at the same time. In response to the gunfire, the shots panged off his thick steel plating as his shoulders opened up to spew a barrage of miniature rockets spiraling through the air in Leon's direction. In response to the words, he spoke,

"Negative. My mission is to eliminate all opponents. I told you not to resist!"

Then, he continued to spray bullets at the man. In response to the little pink puffball that came from the forest, Omega pointed his free arm at it, but the gatling gun did not activate, and his other shut down as well. Curious.
It was actually the work of Disable, Psyduck's plan to save Kirby! His main weapon being disabled for the moment, the walking arsenal activated two flamethrowers that appeared over his head. He rotated slowly at the hip in an attempt to engulf all three opponents in the swath of flame!

Bowser
Despite the invitation to pummel him, Nikolai deflected the punches, and drove a shoulder into Bowser's torso. The shell absorbed any damage, letting the King Koopa put his opponent in a bear hug! This was just as Nikolai jumped, though, and his cranium still made contact with royal jaw. That sure stung, but it'd take more than that to put down the Koopa King. He took a step back and tightened his bear hug to prevent the follow-up, before leaping above the tree line with the Russian. At the apex of his jump, Bowser started spinning, and let go of Nikolai, relying on both the rotational force and the air pressure as they began to fall at an accelerated speed to keep his opponent pinned to his front. His target? A large boulder, which would be flattened upon impact!

Petey Piranha
Buzzo blocked the small tornadoes, but the big one lifted him and tossed him skyward. Petey enjoyed the fact that his attack worked, and allowed him to follow up. With a mighty jump to heave himself off the ground, the patriarch of the plants aimed to take a bite outta Buzzo in midair!

Zed
In a surprising turn of events, Megalon ended up taking itself out, flames bursting from within the underground tunnel left behind by the beast.

"...I suppose that takes care of matters," Zed spoke, certainly taken aback, gently gliding back down to the ground. His wing vanished alongside the flame in his hand, the prince looking around the burning forest. What a mess they had made.

"Well done, all of you." The Adept commented, making sure to also give Sonic a slight bow as a sign of thanks. "I knew you would handle things wonderfully. Now then, I believe we should turn our attention to prolonging our survival. Fnding a place safer than this... rapidly burning forest would be a good start, don't you think?"

Jack

There was no end to Grief's attacks. His Surge technique didn't seem to do all that much, its damage mitigated by some sort of barrier, and the professor was already following up with a barrage of bullets and missiles that even Jack and his augmentations could not handle efficiently. The projectiles struck one after another, effectively blasting the Ghostrunner out of the sky, leaving him to land on the ground roughly, a trail of smoke following him.

The extent of the damage could be seen once the smoke faded, the robot's left arm now missing, his torso filled with holes, caused by both bullets and explosions. Even the display on his face was cracked. It was a miracle he was still standing.

And even beyond the damage he had taken, he could feel how his body was turning against him. Sensors going haywire, inner hydraulics failing... Last time he had experienced something like this was...

"I can't hold him back for long," The Architect's voice came in. "You're too damaged to retreat without him catching up."

"So I don't have a choice."

His fate was essentially sealed. All he could do was fight. Using his quickly decaying acceleration module, Jack gained a burst of speed, leaping as high as he could, going for a one-armed slash straight to the head of the Arsenal. mustering all of the strength he could.

LEON

Dropping to a knee, he ceased pulling the trigger, instead favoring feathering it, firing singular bullets. Why? Well, the robot had just launched a volley of missiles, and while Leon had slowed the fire of his bullets, he wasn't known to be slow, the missiles each individually meeting a bullet head-on before any had a chance to really move anywhere.

Sliding Matilda into her holster, Leon darted forward, pulling out his combat knife as he finished closing the distance, eyes darting up to notice that the mechanical beast was struggling to fire its chainguns, opting to produce two barrels igniting with an interior orange hue from its top. Flamethrowers, Leon correctly guessed by the suggestive evidence, and just as he was about to leap, almost directly into the flames as they began to spew out, he dropped to the ground, sliding across the dirt and sand just as quickly as he'd run, seemingly dropping a small cylinder as he crossed between the legs of the robot, hooking his free hand on one leg to swing himself rapidly out of the way of the rotating fire, rolling back to his feet out of the flamethrower's range as the small cylinder he'd "lost" burst---a hand grenade, unconventional in design, and yielding far more concussive force to compensate for a lack of shrapnel.

"Yeah, well mission failed," the agent replied to the robot's prior statement. "Try to get me next time."

NIKOLAI

Manic grin wild, Nikolai began to batter his face into Bowser's again, rapid-fire headbutt after rapid-fire headbutt, though unlike last time, these ones were far harder-hitting due to the power-up, and as Nikolai was flung away, Bowser quickly dropping with him, attempting to flatten the russian between shell and rock. Nikolai reacted quickly, raising up his legs to kick off of the belly-slamming koopa's stomach, crashing into the boulder, which shattered on impact, but as he spat out some spittle, he rolled to the side, Bowser crashing a split second later into what remained, reducing the shattered boulder into pebbles, but the moment Bowser hit, Nikolai lunged forward like a cannon at point-blank range, using his knee to slam into Bowser's side and send him flying.

"Opyat' taki!" he jeered in contest.

Astra & Sonic

Sateramon left. But that meant he would come back later to pick a fight. He would be ready, no cowboy was gonna knock him in the dirt. The blue blur looked around him. Flames everywhere. He was so wrapped up in the fight he hadn't noticed that. Tapping his foot he gave a whistle.

"Pheeeeew. Big guy made a lot of mess. If I knew it was gonna be this bad, I would have called a maid...or fifty."

Snark aside. The fire wasn't best to stay around, so he zoomed over next to Zed, pointing at himself.

"Dunno about you guys, but in a place like this, I think all places are gonna be just as dangerous. Danger ain't nothin' to sweat over though, cause if they are after this hedgehog, they got another thing comin'."

This guy has a lotta spunk astra thought to himself. Little bit of an ego, but I gotta admit...that hairstyle...

"Dig it?"

"Not dig it?" The now disconnected Mediamon spoke.

"Of course we do!"

Both putting up their punk rock hand signs together, Mediamon regressed into their much smaller Musimon state, the threat now gone. Sonic just gave a shrug with a smile and a sweatdrop.

"What a cast of weirdos." He said jokingly. "Dunno if I'll let anything tie me down for now but, take care of yourselves okay? Catch ya later!"

And with that, Sonic bounded off west, astra having to brace himself as the wind flew past him, putting out some of the closer flames. That guy was a lot of something. Dunno what, but something.

"Ah, he's already gone." The Apptuber sighed. "Oh well, back to the drawing board. How about we try to find a way out of this forest? That smell of burning wood is giving me bad vibes..."

That's when Happylover nudged him, squeaking in distress. He turned an eye to her as she gestured to Eitri, who was holding his duel disk. How did she get that? That was on his arm last he checked.
