Private/Closed Kyogre Lake Academy

Emma looked to Jack after the Ceremony ended, wondering about something.

"Want to explore the Island?" Emma asked, a bit nervous, "I've been wondering about some parts of the island that I was not able to go to since I saw Dom and Charlie's Battle."

Emma had Volcarona above in the Air, watching over her. She then saw Jason trying to talk to Reese. Emma noticed what was up with Jason and is getting an idea why Metagross was so Exasperated.

Laura had listened to the spheal, and recalled her Fearow, she then looked to Ivan.

"You doing anything, if not, why don't we explore the Island, to see what lives around here." Laura responded.

James had hopped on his Steelix, listening to the regulations as it ended, he headed off to the Rocky Area looking around. He kept his eyes peeled for either a Vulpix or another Fire type.

Jason listened to the Headmaster, and when she was done, he turned to Reese.

"You up for exploration?" Jason responded, "you know, if you're willing?"

Metagross looked up at its trainer, still exasperated. It had no idea, but something was up with its trainer.

Hokori couldn't help but cheer under her breath at what Thomas said, glad not to be alone in going to the beach - After yesterday's events and how annoyingly lonely she was, she was determined to not be alone too long again.

Eventually finding the beach, it seemed just as you'd expect; With a sandy ground and plenty of rocks about, and access to the ocean constantly changing tides. Immeadiantly, Hokori noticed shifting around the rocks, likely wild Pokémon, which excited Hokori - Plus Cor, who wanted to see other water types, or even other Pokémon with Crab in their species name, and Taupe, who was enjoying the sandy environment by doing under and messily digging up sand without much rhyme or reason. This got a chuckle out of Hokori, who, with a gleam in her eye, began to search for the ideal wild Pokémon.

Charlie looked up as the stage to see the tall women standing near a microphone. Her voice boomed over the crowd of students, in seconds every student went quiet. The women went on to explain she was the headmaster of the acadamy "her? She's the headmaster...she doesn't look a day past 30." Charlie whispered under her breath in surprise. "She's nothing like I was thinking, I was expecting old and scary not young and attractive" Charlie thought to herself, blushing a bit.
The headmaster went on to explain various rules and descriptions regarding the classes, the island, and the future class projects. Before closing out the ceramony with a bow "thats it?"

Charlie was interuppted by Del picking her up similarly to before "gah! D-Del! Man you gotta let me know before ya do that!" She let out a chuckle before hitting Del in the shoulder jokingly. She watched as Vars flew off to the woods to grab berries "good luck Vars, stay safe!" She cheered out to the pink ribombe.

As the two made there way into the schoolrhey looked at signs directing to the infermery "...That headmaster lady was pretty, huh Del..." Charlie looked at him with a cat face, curious what the stone faced delinquent boy would think.

Having heard the whole speech from who he understood was the Head Mistress and not the Head Master, Alex couldn't help but feel annoyed and made his way back to the lakeside where he was earlier, following his aura footprint. "I hope that Pokemon is still there."
Upon reaching the spot he sat back down, closed his eyes and began playing his ocarina again. The music travelled through the water and wind, catching the attention of a variety of Pokemon that were curious enough to investigate the source of the sound. Before long, Alex had unknowingly gathered an audience.

Thomas smiled as he looked at the beach and stopped as he found himself get lost in the gorgeous ocean views, just like on the ferry, it seemed he couldn't get enough of the ocean. "Beautiful..." Thomas thought out loud before he got out his Poke ball and threw it skyward, from the spherical capsule was his massive aquatic serpentine like Pokemon; his crimson Gyarados who roared and stretched the moment she was free, she looked at Thomas who smiled up at her, then pointed the oceans ahead of them.

Gyarados smiled and immediately darted towards the water to swim, when she was far enough, she started to jump up from under the water, often at times do a few graceful tricks that Thomas taught her some time ago, Thomas on the other hand simply smiled and watched his beloved partner enjoy the oceans just as much as he did, he wanted nothing more than to join her in the water, but something told him that now wasn't the time.

Thomas turned his head over to Hokori and smiled as he watched she and her Pokemon enjoy the beach as well, he looked down at his other Poke ball and decided to let Steelix out as well, it was only fair not to let him feel left out as they savored their time on the golden border between land and sea. "I could walk across this sandy plain a million times, and I don't think I'd ever get tired of the beautiful views. Don't you think?" Thomas asked as he walked with Hokori, Steelix was close behind him, the iron snake Pokemon appeared relaxed at the slow and steady pace they walked at.

"Huh? Oh, her, I never got her name, not really interested." He said calmly. "Adults aren't my strong suit, my parents raised me to be respectful, at least to the elderly." Del was under the assumption the lady was loaded and just had plenty of surgery to look the way she did.

"The infirmary, finally." Del set Charlie down and helped her hobble over to the front desk. "This girl here needs serious medical attention, her hand was directly struck by lightning. I did my best to bandage it, but didn't have the time or resources to properly clean it." The lady on the other side of the counter looked up, eyes half-closed, sort of a bored expression. "Can you please tell me your name and how you got this injury, ma'am? After that, I'll need you to wait over there." Del looked and the place was practically packed with some of the younger first years who could barely tell the difference between an Eevee and a Pikachu. Del himself was a first year, but he could tell all the people there got in through money or status. "Yer kiddin' me! I mean, does it LOOK like we're here for a peppermint?" Del turned to the younger kids. "And how many of you are truly injured past the point that a kiss on your boo-boo won't fix it?" Some of the kids got upset and left, some of them got annoyed and left, and a small handful stayed. "Well, I think there went my dream of future cheer captain." He thought to himself, half proud the wait wouldn't be as long.

Charlie while being carried through the halls gave a pouty face "honestly wasn't expecting an answer like that..."
Once in the infermery Charlie was sat down in a chair next to the lady at the front desk, she watched as Del spoke to her like an agitated parent. To which led to him scolding the many injured students in the waiting room. Charlie simply smiled with a nervous face, the handful of students that stayed gave her a cold look. She remembered that the nurse at the desk told Charlie to walk to the waitinf area, to which she sat up and propped her arms on the desk, holding herself up, her legs wobbled and her body shook "ok lady I can barely walk! You saw this guy literally carry me in here" she said irritated, before ultimately falling back into the seat she stood over. "I think my hand will be fine, I just need something to get rid of this paralysis. I can't move like this..."

By the time June finally stumbled back onto campus, the ceremony had seemingly already finished; students were dispersing from the courtyard, mostly towards the wild part of the island. “How could they have done it so quickly?” she muttered to herself. Well, it probably wasn’t too important in that case. She would simply have to find someone to explain to her what the headmaster had said later. For now though, it seemed like more exploration was in order.

"Woah..." Hokori couldn't help but feel awe seeing Gyarados's graceful tricks. Even with her own dislike of performing in contests, she could never get over the idea of watching others who could pull that off. Soon, she managed to snap out quick enough to keep walking with Tom, leaning forward and pushing her arms out back to stretch while she talked.

"Well, yeah, it is quite 'ice..." She sheepishly said; While she didn't quite have the same enthusiasm for the ocean as Thomas, her time with Cor had certainly given her a good reason to enjoy it, and it was certainly quite nice even ignoring that.
Before she could think any further, Cor began to tug on her leg a little. "Hm? What is it?" She asked, thankful as her mind was struggling to find what to say anyway. Cor began pointing to behind a nearby rock, where noises that sounded like...punching?

"That's odd...I'm gonna go check that out, gimmi' a sec~" She told Tom, a gleam coming to eyes wide and ready as she began to walk up to the rock.

SMASH!

Suddenly, the rock burst wide open right as she got close, practically exploding her face and sending chunks flying everywhere on the beach, leaving the girl dazed for a second alongside Cor. The one who did this? A crab Pokémon with a purple shell and the appearance of a black eye.
A Crabrawler, the Boxing Pokémon.

And as soon as she spotted Cor, the Crabrawler decided it wanted to fight, immeadiantly jumping to attack the Corphish with a glowing fist - Rock Smash -, presumably, which hit Cor right in the face and sent him falling backwards before both he and Hokori were able to think again.
"huh!? Ah!" Hokori, catching her thoughts up, rushed to get Cor back up. "You 'kay...?" She checked, getting a nod before she looked at the Crabrawler, whose fist was still glowing. "You're pretty strong to knock Cor back so easily, eh? Guess I'd better catch you then!" She decided, pointing forward at the Crabrawler. "Cor, use Razor Shell!" She ordered, Cor jumping forward with his claw glowing his energy before striking at the wild Pokémon, clashing with another Rock Smash. The two both backed up for distance, glaring at each other.

"Sheesh..." Hokori wondered, trying to decide how to break the stalemate.

It had been some time and Charlie was being treated as Del stood to the side leaned against a wall with one foot propped on it. He had his arms crossed, tapping his finger against his bicep. His eyebrows began to twitch, and his lips began to curl into a frown. Del hit his breaking point, but instead of screaming or telling the doctor he's working too slow, he got off the wall and began to walk out of the doctor's office. "Patience is a virtue. Especially in medicine. " That was one of the lessons Del remembered his mother teaching him. "Vars is taking too long, I know I told her to grab some berries in advance, but she can't carry that many. Charlie, if you need me, don't be a stranger." Del walked outside of the building, pulled out his matchbox and lit a match off the side of it and put it in his mouth. "Vars should recognize the smoke if I don't see her first. But... something tells me she won't be able to come even if she could." Del furrowed his brows as the smoke from the match began to blow against him. "Somebody has business with me personally, whether they wanted it or not." He unbuttoned his jacket and popped up his collar, as he made his way towards the forest.

Charlie was set down on one of the beds in the infermery, after her and Del's persuasive attitudes it was no time at all before the nurse began to treat Charlie's hand and her paralysis...
Charlie closed her eyes and relaxed, finally being able to rest since her event with Joule "hey Del how long has it been since you sent of Vars?" She said, still resting with her eyes closed. "Are you talking to that boy? He left a minute ago. Said something about don't be a stranger to you" the nurse said to Charlie as she was finishing up her hand and wrapping it up with a proper bandage "o-oh, I guess I was too exhausted to catch what he said..." she sat up "am I good to go?" Charlie asked, moving her body around. The nurse gave a nod and instantly Charlie hopped out of the bed. Upon touching the ground she didn't fall but she instantly felt like she was going to "oh yeah you might feel weak for a bit, but thats just how humans handle it when you get cured of paralysis" the nurse said with a unexcited tone "I...I wish you could have told me that lady." Charlie said fumbling back into a seat. "Oh wait I have an idea " Charlie pulls out a pokeball and pops out Dune, its first action was to rush up to Charlie and nuzzle against her, wimpering at her recovering hand "hey girl its all fine, I'll be ok, but can I get a ride..." Charlie asked with a smile. The flygon cooed and bumped Charlie, urging her to hop on her back.

The two darted out the room into the school halls..."why didn't I do this instead of getting Del to carry me around." Charlie laughed as she rode. Dune flapped his wings and gave a smug snarl "shut up!" Charlie hit the back if dunes head with her face red from what her pokemon was insinuating.

“Ooh, sounds like fun!” Reese squealed, swinging her legs around to sit upright again and clapping her hands. “I bet there’s all sorts of cool stuff on the island! Maybe we’ll find a Sableye’s stash of gems, or a secret cavern in the forest full of super secret caverns and extra secret passageways! Or maybe we’ll find a fossil, or a Staraptor nest, or— I’m rambling again~,” she cut herself off apologetically, sticking her tongue out with a self-deprecating grin.

A Ribombee, easy prey. My master would honestly be embarrassed if I had to use my strongest moves, this delicacy shall be enjoyed to the fullest...

Del walks through the forest and hears a faint cry of a Ribombee. Del keeps at his regular pace. He knew Vars well and long enough to know when she was truly in trouble. Del came to an opening and saw a wounded Vars and a Whimsicott. Del took a deep breath and exhaled. On the inside he was absolutely seething, the intense murderous aura coming from the inside of Del was only contained by his cool demeanor because of his pride in Vars. "You did great out there, I'm truly proud of you." The Vars was recalled with a closed eye and a half smile.

A mortal? Curious, a more worthy adversary, my mas-

"Hey, little guy." The whimsicott shot back, seemingly sweating. "You seem to not understand what's going on."

What the hell is this aura! So intense and... so cold... master...

"I sent Vars out to get berries, and not to engage in battle. Seeing her wounded means she either didn't listen, or more likely..." the smoke from the still lit match covered his face, allowing the Whimsicott to only see slight features of it. "You started this." The Whimsicott saw only the face of Death himself through parts of the smoke, realizing he's made the gravest mistake ever. "I'll make you a deal, if you let me catch you, we'll call you pummeling my innocent Ribombee, even."

I've never once encountered something with such hatred, and yet a calming demeanor. Similar to that of the one I swear oath to. I shall grant my services to thee, mighty one. My soul will be bound, physically, to yours, and until my life-force finally fleets, I give unto, only, my best.

The Whimsicott knelt down before Del, bowing his head and putting one hand behind his back and the other on the ground. "Alright, guess we have ourselves a little deal." The Whimsicott felt nothing but pure fear and relief at the same time as the pokeball was gently tapped against his head. "Algo. Algo will be your name. I hope this is the beginning of a very good friendship, Algo, because after what you've done to Vars." He pulled the pokeball up to his lips and whispered. "You'll be lucky to even be a waterboy for my team."

More mortal than I, but twice as vile, a concoction sweeter than the finest ambrosia, The Reaper, my master, let the carnage begin.

“Alright, Charmander use Dragon Rage, Krabby use Bubble Beam!” Dom shouted.

The wild Charmander reeled back as the dragon energy became concentrated in in’s body and the flame on its tail grew in size. The charmander released the energy and the blueish purple flame flew from its mouth, and made contact with Krabbys bubble beam. The two attacks made a small smoke cloud. The two Pokémon still stood in the middle, but it was set. Charmander finally learned the Dragon Rage Attack.

“Perfect!” Dom said, “Now go and show those Charmeleon you mean business!” Dom cheered.

Chsrmander nodded and began walking back to the group, but looked back at Dom.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be back later, I have to get to Battle Stratagies class.” Dom said.

He soon left the mountains, and made his way back to the dorms to get ready for his first class.

“Thankfully I can take all my regular classes online, but Battle Stratagies is something I don’t want to miss.” Dom said to himself as he made his way back to his room.

He walked into the room and looked at the collection of pokeballs in his drawer, and added the 5 Luxury Balls to it. He didn’t think capturing Charmander was the right choice anymore, so if anything, he’d train it so it could become even stronger. Dom didn’t know how, but he felt that that was what Charmander wanted for the time being.

Charlie was still riding atop Dune through the school. Almost making her way to the front door before she commanded Dune to stop "actually... the headmistress brought up battle strategies right, maybe we should head there since first day or school and all." She pat Dune who then changed its course, making its way outside and to the large arena where school ordered battles took place. "Hopefully I'll meet back up with some of the others, surely the class is interesting enough to gather some of their attention." Charlie said alloud ss she flew on her flygon's back through the air.

"I'm thinking the Rocky area, remembering how you reacted to Aerodactyl, Let's go, I wonder if anything, we just have to be back for Battle strategies." Jason responded, "I
don't think Mr. Hanzo wants not to see the Hoenn League Champion, Junior Division, in his class."

Jason knew that statement had some truth to it. Jason was taking a page from Emma's book, being bolder. He had Aerodactyl pop out to take lead. The Fossil Pokémon gave a roar, looking at his trainer for the next command.

James had been searching through the Rocky area, looking for a Vulpix, when he spotted a Ninetales, and a grey one with blue where the Orange was. Around the Pokémon were several Vulpix. The Ninetales was barking for help, as James Stopped Steelix. He then hopped off Steelix, and looked at the Ninetales.

"Is something wrong?" James looked through his pokeballs.

He looked down near the Ninetales to see an injured Vulpix on the ground. He saw some burns on the Vulpix as well as some frost.

"Fomantis, Aromatherapy!"

The Sickle Grass Pokémon appeared and immediately started producing a scent of sweet smell, but it was green. The scent went over the injured Vulpix, and the burns and frost started receding from the Pokémon, and at the end of the smell's effect, the Vulpix got up and walked over to James, nodding. The Ninetales barked in thanks as the Vulpix poked its nose on James's gifted Pokeball, a pokeball that people normally don't keep, a Safari Ball. It shook once, twice, thrice, then an Audible click was heard. James sat in shock, as Ninetales nodded. He then pulled out the Safari ball, and looked at it, knowing he now had a Vulpix in there.

"Thank you, Ninetales, I'll keep your location secret." James whispered.

He then hopped on his Steelix and Waved to Ninetales. Heading towards what should be Battle strategies and going with a new catch.

Ivan looked at Laura when she started talking to him and scratched the back of his head while giving her a nervous smile.

"Um, sure, I don't see why not. But I'm gonna have to do something later in the day."

Ace climbed back onto Ivan's shoulder and happily began pointing in the direction of the beach.

"Hey, Laura how about the beach?"

Thomas' gaze mainly focused on either the ocean beside him or the sandy path ahead of him, the former made him smile as he saw his Gyarados have the time of her life in the waters. His focus ceased and he jolted when he heard the sound of rocks breaking nearby, Steelix immediately assumed a defensive stance around Thomas while Gyarados was still immersed within the joy of the seas, as he got a better look at who broke the rocks, he smiled and hopped over Steelix while he petted his metallic head as a means to silently tell him to stand down.

"A Crabrawler, nice!" Thomas said before he folded his arms to watch Hokori and her Corphish battle their opponent, as the two crabs clashed their claws at one another, Thomas pondered before he looked at Hokori. "Does Cor have any long range moves it can use? Maybe you can use them to put Crabrawler off?" He asked as he turned his head and saw his Gyarados watch the ongoing battle from where she swam.

After playing for about ten minutes straight, Alex finally noticed the many auras surrounding him. Among them was the Pokemon in the lake he had encountered before the ceremony. Said Pokemon was actually a Shiny Lapras, not that Alex could tell do to being blind and having never encountered one before today. Difficult as it was, it actually came ashore to listen to the music more closely and investigate the source. That is, until it heard someone else coming and retreated back to the water. Alex groaned in frustration and asked. "Do you mind?!" His voice was a touch louder than he meant to be and scared the gathered Pokemon into going home.

“Of course.” Jack smiled slightly. “I’ve always wondered what else is on this island.” He grasped his belt. “Maybe we’ll find some new Pokémon along the way. I could use another new party member. This island is filled to the brim with unique and rare Pokémon due to the different sections."

A good while later, it occurred to June that there were probably classes she would have to attend. She decided to head to the main arena, where she expected they would be holding some sort of battling class. As she approached the huge, glinting structure, she stopped to give Durant a quick pep talk.

“I know we haven’t had a battle in a pretty long time,” June began. Durant simply looked at her with lazy eyes, before turning scuttling through the entrance. June sighed. “Not even an ounce of nervousness…”

"That Sounds good, Dragalge may be able to come out for a bit." Laura responded to Ivan as she saw the Riolu point towards the beach.

Laura brought out Dragalge's Pokeball, holding it in her hand. She then pulled out Salamence's pokeball, and opened it in a field.

"Let's go!"

She hopped on her Salamence, waiting for Ivan to board.

Emma had looked over to Jack, and pointed towards the Rocky Area.

"I've heard whispers about a Nest of Larvitar, around the Rocky area." Emma whispered, "I want to see if it's true."

Emma then headed off, looking back.

"Hey, I'm headed off."

"Oh, yes, one moment." Jack grabbed a Poké Ball, and returned Monsoon to it, before him and Justin ran to catch up with Emma. "Catching a Larvitar would be interesting...their evolution is among the most popular choices for competitive battling." Then he looked down and smirked. "I'll know a good opportunity for a new party member when I see one, though."

Charlie flew in the air. Her body felt so good in the wind despite its soreness "there it is. Lets head down there Dune." She pointed below them to the stadium that as mentioned before is used for pokemon battle directly ordered frok the school or its classes.

Charlie landing in the stadium near a crowd of students, still sitting on the back of her flygon "Charlie?" She heard a voice call to her. Charlie looked to her right to see Mr. Hanzo "h-hey Mr. Hanzo, sorry to drop in unannounced, I just thought to head to your class once I got out of the infermery "she said with a nervous expression. The teacher walked up to her, a ninja-like mask covering his mouth "that's not an issue, students are welcomed to join my class whenever they like, if they have what it takes that is." Hanzo said with a calm voice. Charlie squinted her eyes a bit at the second half of his statement "do you...think I don't have what it takes?" Charlie looked at Hanzo, Dune had a sharp gaze at him through its goggle like eye shields. Mr. Hanzo stared at the two for a moment before gaining a kind look and luaghing a bit "no no I know you have what it takes. You have to remember I was watching that fight you had with Dominic, quite impressive for a student like yourself. If I remember correctly you were accepted here because of a recommendation from your father, a gym leader. So you weren't invited here for your battle prowess exactly" Mr. Hanzo stated "Don't underestimate me just because it was connections that brought me here, I may have never participated in a gym challenge but I have been fighting those trainers since I was a little kid. Fighting is what I'm known in my town for, and speaking of that battle with Dom, you cut it short, couldn't you have let us finish?" She asked, seeming more confident when talking to her teacher "I had to interuppt, it was after your arrival and we must make sure everyone understood what they needed to do. I apologize for interuppting you, but could I make it up to you." He said turning away from Charlie and waving his hand in the air towards the battlefield. "Raphiel! Come battle Charlie over here" he shouted out. In no time at all a trainer stepped up to Charlie, wearing a blue and red uniform "this is Raphiel, he's a 3rd year student here and a rather strong battler in my novice class. Care to take him on?" Hanzo said, raising an eyebrow. Charlie gave a confident smile and she nodded her head. Making her way to a blue corner of the large battlefield. The floor of the arena seemed to be made of concrete or something along those lines, with the general pokmon arena patterns inside it, only difference was a large "KLA" logo in the center. Similar to how a sport would have their logo on their home teams's field. Charlie stepped off of Dune, but held onto her similar to how she held onto Del during the ceremony "I'm ready when you are!" She shouted to the opponent stood at the other end of the battlefield "you're going down newbie!" Raphiel responded with a determined and stern tone...
"This battle won't last long" whispered through Charlie's head.

Dom finally arrived in the arena and noticed quite a few people already battling, including Charlie.

“Hey Mr. Hanzo.” Dom said as he walked into the arena.

“Hello Dominic, I’m happy you could join us.” He said.

“It’s a pleasure to be here.” Dom said.

“Well, I already know you’re quite the strategist, though you’ll have to show what you’re truly capable of if you want to get into Advanced Battle Stratagies, like we talked about yesterday.” Hanzo said.

Dom could barely remember the conversation from last night, but assumed they had spoken about it.

“Alright… let’s see… ah, there he is. Michael!” Hanzo called out to another student.

A boy who seemed to be a bit older came over from another group of students. His uniform was Blue and Red, unlike their uniforms.

“Just like you were, Michael here was recommended based on your strategic prowess. I want the two of you to battle, use the smaller red battlefield on the other side of the arena. Make it a 2 on 2.” Hanzo said.

“Right.” Dom said.

Dom and Micheal walked over to the smaller battlefield drawn on top of the bigger one.

“You ready? I’m not going easy on you.” Dom said.

“Yeah, I watched your battle and know all your little tricks.” Michael sneered.

Dom snickered a bit, but put his serious face on.

“Trust me, you haven’t even scratched the surface.” Dom said.

"Long range..." Hokori thought on the advice for a moment while the two Pokémon circled each other. "Well, there's one move for that...!" She pointed forward as Cor finished another full circle and was now facing ahead of Hokori.
"Use Mud-Shot!" She told Cor, getting a slight moment of surprise from Cor before the crab nodded, putting one pincer inside the other before opening up and firing of Mud-Shot at the Crabrawler, covering her eyes and knocking her back.

"Hah! Yes!" Hokori cheered to herself. "Now that it's stugglin', Cor, use Razor Shell!" She added, as Cor's pincer glowed with energy before striking the Crabrawler again, knocking it headfirst into a wall, dazed. Then, Hokori took out a pokeball.

"Alright, here it goes!" She shouted, throwing the Pokeball. As soon as it hit the Crabrawler, it bounced off, and the Boxing Pokémon shrunk down inside.

...Tick!

"Alright!" Hokori loudly cheered, picking the pokeball up and holding it in her hands. "Caught a Crabrawler! You'll be great, buddy~" She added with a wide smile, before turning back to Thomas as she tried to think on names.

Thomas had his hands in his pockets as he watched the battle between Corphish and Crabrawler, when the former began to let out Mud Shot, he smiled as the suggestion seemed to not only work, but ensure that she was victorious in catching the Pokemon. Thomas clapped for Hokori's victory as she looked back at him while he walked up to her. "Nice work, Hokori, a third member for your team." He congratulated before his eyes turned to the ocean where Gyarados began to swim over to Thomas, when the water wasn't deep for her to swim, she slithered up to him.

As Laura took to the air, she saw Jason trying to talk to Reese, the Girl who quite literally flew off the boat on her Golurk, and nearly took her out trying to get dinner. Emma was talking with Jack, and it seemed they were out to head for something in the Rocky area. She flew over to the beach, seeing a lot going on, including a Shiny Gyarados in the water, and someone else catching a Pokémon.

"Look, Ivan, a Shiny Gyarados!" Laura exclaimed, "And I think that boy right there is the trainer, I wouldn't try to catch it if I were you."

-------

Emma started heading down the Rocky area. One thing's for certain, it's definitely rugged. She spotted something that removed her tie. It was a white, somewhat egg shaped creature with red and blue triangles on the main body and a crown for the head, the creature had little wings and flew off with the tie.

"What the!?" Emma called out, "Jack, that Pokémon stole my tie, Volcarona, track that Pokémon!"

Volcarona flew in the direction of the Pokémon.

Reese blew upward to get rid of stray strands of hair in her face before her face fell into its usual lopsided grin. “Okily-dokily,” she said brightly, drumming on Rocket’s head. The Golurk lurched to his feet with a metallic shunk. “Sounds fun!” She stood as well, bracing her feet on Rocket’s shoulder spikes as she stretched. “Listening to that boring intro makes me wanna do something exciting!” She pointed off into the distance like a ship’s captain. “To the rocky area!” she crowed.

Jack nodded to Emma, and pointed his arm in the direction of the thief. “Justin, go after it!” He commanded, and Justin proceeded to parkour his way after the Pokémon. “This isn’t good. Surely there’s some sort of punishment for losing school property…”

"Huh. Huh! HUH!" Del threw the burnt match on the ground and stomped on it. "Damn everything, all of it! Here I was hoping to let off some steam on some a-hole punk, and instead I catch a new member for my team who seems leagues fancier than me. Damn this bitter sweet feeling too." He shoved his hands in his pockets and headed back toward the dorms to heal Vars.

After that, Del talked with the receptionist about the classes, "I believe about now is the time for the battle strategies class." She said. "Battle Strategies... I might need that honestly." He checked his watch to confirm the time. "Alright, let's school some fool."

Upon entering the class, he was greeted by Mr. Hanzo, "Hello Mr. Del." "Please, just call me Quentin, or Del, or Quentin Del, or Q. Del.... just don't call me Mr. it's too formal." "Alright, well, Del, this is the battle strategies class, this is where you'll learn to properly use effective move combinations. Firstly, the class is split into 2 divisions, a basics and an advanced. I'll need you to battle a senior here and I'll have another teacher grade you and put you into an appropriate class." Del looked a little puzzled. "A demonstration may help." Mr. Hanzo said. He scanned the room for any older kids and noticed 1 of them talking to another. "Connor!" The one boy that wasn't talking stood up and walked over, sporting a blue and red version of the male's uniform. "I need you to help assess Del here for me." Connor nodded and walked over to one side of a small field like area where another teacher followed. He quietly tossed out a pokeball and a Talonflame came out. Connor had a confident smile on his face, as Del began to sweat a little. Battle Strategies, that's simple, you just... tell the pokemon what to do and it does it, easy, I got this. Del grabbed a pokeball from his pocket, as he did wear the usual pokeball belt. "Algo, show him what you're made of!" "Of course." The Whimsicott thought. "Alright, Del, you can go first so that I may see how you fight against a type disadvantage." "Type disadvantage?" Del said very nervously. "Pause." The teacher called and walked over to Del. "Type disadvantage, the very basics of pokemon." "I, uh, I've never... battled pokemon." Del said sheepishly purposefully avoiding eye contact. "YOU- you never learned the basics?!" He whispered a little more quietly. "I-I can teach him." Said Connor, even quieter. "I-I'll teach him, a-and ask his peers to help, if they're fine with it."

Hokori sheepishly tossed the newly used pokeball in her hand as Thomas congratulated her.
"Thanks, probably wouldn't have figured to do that way without your advice, though!" She said with an excited nod, looking over to his crimson serpent as she slithered up to her trainer.

"And thinking on it, I think I know just what to name you, newbie..." She looked to the pokeball. "You can become an ice type so...Beira, that sounds good!" She decided, the pokeball seeming to give her a nod of interest causing her to chuckle. "Perfect~" She said, casting the pokeball to the air and sending the Crabrawler out again.

Immeadiantly, it let out a small 'cry', excited and pumped before realising the calm environment and letting it's fists down. "Aw, don't be disappointed; You can relax, we'll help you train lat-" Before she even finished talking, Crabrawler was suddenly rolling about in the sand...Presumably, since it was just caught, the pokémon knew she didn't need to worry too hard about wild training now. Hokori, in a soft moment, let out an aw before turning back to face Tom again. "Well, I gotta ask; When'd that Gyarados learn to pull off those graceful stunts?" She decided to ask after a moment.

Emma had run off, following Justin the Gallade and Volcarona, with Justin tracking as well, she may be able to prepare for the eventual fight.

"Volcarona, Quiver Dance!"

The Fire and Bug type started dancing, which picked up speed in red sparkles. Volcarona continued the tracking, and as kept following.

"When the Pokémon pulled off my tie, it had a white head with a crown like shape, and a small wing, I think we got ourselves something interesting." Emma responded, "I've always wanted a Togekiss, but couldn't find a Togepi or Togetic in Hoenn."

When Volcarona had caught up he ambushed the Thief, using Psychic. The Togetic suddenly stopped dead in its tracks with a blue glow around it, dropping the tie. Emma picked up the tie and put it back on. The Fairy and Flying type started waving its hands. It then stopped, and all of a sudden, A Metallic beam went towards Justin.

"That was Metronome, and it used Flash Cannon!" Emma called back to Jack.

Jason told Metagross to head towards the Rocky Area, and to keep pace with Reese and her Golurk.

"So, where are you from?" Jason asked, "My Mom's Unovan, my dad's Hoennian, my family owns an island off the coast of Hoenn, and he has a battle Frontier facility there. Some trainers that came through have even found a fossil, one of them got a Shieldon from their Fossil. My mom's a retired top coordinator, she helps other Coordinators with their shows and even has trained some moves."

Metagross was not exasperated this time, but kept what it was told. Aerodactyl flew ahead, to warn of anything that may be a danger to Jason and Reese.

Charlie stood next to Dune. Readying herself for her assessment match. She looked past her opponent to notice both Del and Dom about to battle, each having one opponent sporting a similar uniform "Dom's got his fight in the bag, and Del...I've never seen him battle, atleast it seems he found Vars if he's here and not the woods" Charlie whispered under her breath "throw out your first pokemon!" Raphiel shouted out across their battlefield. Charlie returned her focus to her own battle and reached for her belt. Contemplating which ball to use
"I could use Joule, but I can't trust she'll listen to me, she may end up attacking me, I don't know what pokemon he has....fine I'll use Shoe, I can't send Dune out with me using her to keep me up, my 3 others should be enough for him." Charlie eventually grabbed one pokeball and tossed it into the ring "get em Shoe!" Popped out of the orange capped pokeball came an orange capped breloom. It stanced up and cave a cry, excited for its match. "Aha a shiny Breloom, rich kid I can see. Don't worry I have the perfect thing for you" Raphiel gave his smug remark before tossing a pokeball of his own "Staraptor. Shred that mushroom!" He roared. Out the ball was like Raphiel said, a Staraptor, before Charlie could announce who would make the first attack Raphiel's pokemon flew at breakneck speed towards Shoe, its wing glowing a with energy "Shoe dodge that! Its Arial Ace!" It was too late for commands. Shoe was sent flying into the air by the 4x super affective move "hah its a one hit knockout!" the staraptor's trainer pumped his fist in the air. "Don't celebrate too early!" Charlie responded confidently. Raphiel gave a shocked face as he watched the orange breloom recover midair, and immediately launched a leech seed at the bird pokemon. It connected and shortly after Charlie pulled out another pokeball and recalled Shoe "I'm not going down like that. Come on Joule! It ya first battle!" With a strong toss Joule the flaffy hit the field after appearing from its ball. It turned to Charlie and was about to ready a thunder as it did in the forest. Dune raised it head and gave Joule a deadly gaze, with how Charlie's flaffy reacted to it you could think it was the move 'glare' "haha yes! Ok Joule, your opponent is that staraptor up there!" Charlie pointed to the sky to see the bird pokemon flying fast above them. With no command Joule jolted with electricity and out from its body bursted a lightning bolt, so quick the staraptor's trainer couldn't react before his pokemon was struck. A bright yellow spark exploded around the Staraptor for it plummeted to the ground, fainted in one shot "haha awesome Joule! You know I might give Shoe something other than leech seed based off the results of these last 2 matches..." Charlie commented, not before cheering out to her flaffy who admittedly was a little grateful for the praise. Raphiel returned the fainted Staraptor and tossed out its next pokemon, Heracross. "You got lucky you here me newbie! I'm here because I made it to the indigo league! " Raphiel shouted out. Feeling like he was being mocked by this first year student. Mr. Hanzo watched from the sidelines while he directed other battles "interesting, that flaffy seems like a loose cannon. I'm curious to see how that girl builds a bond with it." He said with a hand on his chin.

Jack followed Emma the whole way, and gasped a little seeing the Flash Cannon. “Quickly, Protect!” Justin did as he was told, and put one of his arms up to protect from the Flash Cannon. “Now, Psycho Cut!” Using the Protect, Justin pushed himself out of the way of the Flash Cannon and swung his arms into the air rapidly, causing psychic beams to get launched out of them and towards the Togetic.

Thomas blushed when Hokori mentioned that it was thanks to him that she got the Crabrawler, he scratched the back of his head. "Ah, it's nothing." He said before the Gyarados went to nuzzle her beloved trainer once more, this made Thomas laugh lightly. "Careful buddy, you just got outta the water." He warned, yet made no effort to push her away while he watched as Hokori let out her newly caught Crabrawler. "I heard those Pokemon only evolve within snowy areas."

He paused for a moment when he heard Hokori ask her question on how Gyarados pulled off her graceful stunts. "It's kinda a long story; Back when she was just a Magikarp, whenever we weren't training to become stronger, we went swimming in my pool. We had a lot of fun swimming around and at times, she used to jump out of the water, after she pulled off a flip or two, we thought about training her to do beautiful tricks like that; first it was jumping through hoops, then it was trying different types of flips. After she evolved, it nearly felt like going back to square one given her different body, but she remembered and adapted in no time flat." Thomas said, almost like an actor who read off of a script mixed with a clear sign of nostalgia before he looked at Hokori and blushed.

"F-Forgive me if I'm babbling."

Togetic seemingly dodged the Psycho Cut, but it had clipped the wing, and proceeded to wave its hand again. Emma panicked when an orange ball went into the air and exploded.

"Take cover!" Emma called out to Jack, "That's a Draco Meteor, it came from Metronome!"

Volcarona used Fiery Dance to protect himself as Emma figured out what to do next.

"Quiver Dance, follow that up with a Fiery Dance!"

The buglike Dance occurred, and the special attack and Speed increased, and then launched fire around it as it landed on the Togetic. The Togetic started falling down as Emma threw a Friend ball that she had been saving for this moment. The ball shook once then clicked in a signal of capture.

"I did it, I finally caught a Togetic!" Emma called out.

Volcarona waved a wing over to Jack and Justin saying the Situation was over. Emma picked up the friend ball and held it, showing it to Jack.

James had heard someone, it was Alex, he nearly fell off his Steelix, he was not expecting someone in this area.

"Hey Alex, I had just passed by after catching a Vulpix, what were you doing around here?"

As James and Steelix looked over, he saw a Lake.

"I wonder what is in that lake?" James whispered under his breath.
