Adrianne Silvers (Normal Class: 96,098 )
Valencia Island, Orange Archipelago (June 1st)

Adrianne had a bit to say to the words Reggie was saying, so many questions about the man who fell out of the sky and a lot of talking points. But as Reggie's own words seemed to drift off the Orange Island native seemed to notice him gradually snuggle on Gyaraods and fall asleep, that Munna floating a bit to eat the bad dreams as she looked on with a small smile. Sometimes it probably was best just not to say anything at all.

"This is a wild day, and if this is how my adventure begins...who knows where we go from here~" Adrianne siad with a hushed tone to herself, looking onto the warm scenery as the sun shinned bright overhead and the Gyarados continued its sail towards the next island as Adrianne seemed to believe this new friend of hers was bound to be quite the traveling companion. No question there.

“Girlfriend...?” Esther made a point of looking Confused and befuddled, then she blinked and cocked her head to the side. “But Reina’s right here?”

Esther flashed a cheeky grin but soon replaced it with a light-hearted smile, which then became a dramatic pout as Reina wizened up to her antics.

“Boo~” Esther returned Bamba to her pokéball. With the Blastoise’s appearance. Bamba had gone from quivering in fear to foaming at the mouth. It...it was probably for the best that she be returned to her pokéball until things had settled. She’d be down one water-type but luckily...hopefully...maybe...she’d have a substitute. Eyes on Feebas, Esther stooped down. She hugged her knees to her chest with a single arm while the other gently stroked Feebas’ scales. “Short steps, deep breaths...everything is alright. Right?”

“I want to help you but...can you help me first?”

Feebas flopped around in a way Esther interpreted as yes. Her face lit up with a brilliant smile and she jumped to her feet. “Great!”

“It looks like Desmond has Gene covered so...why don’t we make sure Naka doesn’t get herself killed? Because honestly, I think she’s gonna need a bigger needle.”

The Blastoise rumbled out a roar and its canons took aim at Naka. The canons lurched, an untold amount of pressure building before it was released with a resounding—BOOM! Jets of water—enough to swallow both the uppity researcher and her overgrown lizard—erupted. «Water Pulse»!

WCS Rank: 70,231

Interactions: Adrianne Silvers, Ivy's Gyarados (Godjacob)

Munna cooed at Adrianne's words, patting her arm as if to reassure that it was going to be fun. For the rest of the ride, Munna sat beside Adrianne or floated alongside her if she were to stand up, the mist being her leash to keep near Reggie, so she couldn't leave Gyarados's back.

Reggie was so tired from not being able to sleep well the night before or the night before that... Or the night before that, that he slept through the entire ride to Tangelo Island. Wherein, the darkened pink mist exploded into a black cloud and Reggie suddenly lurched up like a stiff rod, eyes wide as he looked about wildly for a moment before he sighed in relief, his hands shaking minutely before he regained his composure. He looked up to see his Munna floating up to him, and he hugged her to his chest, calming down. Looking around, that's when he noticed a change in scenery. "Huh? We at Tangelo already? Damn... My head hurts." He whined, holding his forehead. Rubbing his thumb into his temple, he looked for wherever Adrianne was, head tilted. "So... How long was I out? Did anything exciting?"

Reggie sounded groggy, his voice cracking slightly from his body trying to wake itself up.

Date: July 19 (26yo)
Location: Yellow Rock Beach, Yellow Rock Isle, Whirl Archipelago, Johto

Interactions: Blastoise

Naka and Aero watched the cannons lock onto them and that's when Naka hugged herself close to her Aerodactyl. They dove down suddenly, Aero's wings clasping close to his body as they became a torpedo. He opened them again, coasting over the waters and creating two waves as he passed by. However, that Water Pulse looked extremely dangerous and Naka had second thoughts about her team. She patted the Aero's side opposite of the Blastoise. "Let's go back. I need a new team."

Screeching in agreement, Aero's body quickly banked, his wings closed just slightly to allow for a sharper turn as he flew back to shore, flying over the others in a blur and kicking up sand as Naka went back to the Pokemon Center.

Back at the Pokemon Center, Naka had Aero land near the entrance, wherein she ran in with her swimming gear to head to the computer, swapping out her Pichu, Barraskewda, Ludicolo, Huntail, and Gorebyss for her Sceptile, Hatterene, Froslass, and Parasect. Feeling better about her picks, she ran back outside, where she hopped back on Aero, who took to the skies with two mighty flaps as they returned to the beachside, wondering what the Blastoise was doing while she was out for a team change.

The trip to the center and back only took a few minutes due to Aero's speed, which he was busy climbing high into the air so he could gain immense speed for when he dove, the beach tiny underneath them.

Esther, very smugly, looked down at Monty and Nico from her position at the very top of the rock-climbing formation. It was an easy win! They just couldn’t compete. How could they hope to match up to her superior conditioning, boundless enthusiasm, and the hundreds of dollars in rock climbing gear she had puppy-eyed her brother into buying and now shamelessly lorded over her companions? While rental gear was provided for rookie rock climbers, those overused and worn-down things were nothing compared to Esther’s minty-fresh climbing boots and steel crampons designed for slick, icy glaciers far more perilous than the gentle bunny hills they climbed today. She knew they’d come in handy!

“Hurry up slowpokes, is the wittle hill giving you twouble?” Peals of laughter followed as Esther skipped away to look at the view over route 3. This is what they’d come to see—the famed Santalune forest. Here she’d catch a Surskit of her own...as soon as she spotted one.

July 19, Tuesday - Yellow Rock Isle, Johto. Reina, current rank, 34,107

"Aw, stop it!" Reina shoved Esther's shoulder lightly, before her green eyes widening at the sight of the incoming attack. "Take cover behind me!"

She tossed the MoonBall into the air, releasing her Lapras. As soon as she landed on the sand, Storm drained all the water around them coming their way, looking healthier and more lively than earlier. The Lapras then jumped into the ocean, staying close enough to her trainer in case such an attach was shot at them again.

"Hija de la chingada..." Reina said as she watched Naka fly away, "She left without us! Could've at least taken Gene." Reina growled as she reached for another of her Pokeball. "Guess we have to fight now, Peque, help us out!"

The Swampert appeared in the air momentarily before diving into the water, his fins sticking out as he made his way towards the Blastoise.

"Supersonic!"

The fins disappeared underwater, followed by a strange wave of sound waves coming from under it.

"MERDE!"

Monty cursed as the cliff-face crumbled under his foot again, and he mustered every ounce of strength in his hands to keep from plummeting down. That was the third time! The criminal's brow was already sweating, half from the exertion and half from fear of falling, and his steps were less and less sure the farther he went up. It didn't help that the rental equipment he had felt ancient.

"Fuckin' crazy girl, I have half a mind she's got it out for me, first the honey now this shit." Muttered curses flowed like bubbles from Viola's Surskit, and Esther's playful jeers were like salt in the wound. Whatever, just keep climbing. Keep your head up. Keep your head up, don't look down. Don't look-

Fuck, he looked down. Holy Xerneas were they high up. Look back up, one foot after the other, keep climbing, don't fall, keep-

Monty's hand grasped the top of the cliff, and he would've jumped for joy if it didn't mean throwing himself to a speedy death. The criminal scrambled over the side, and if he were alone he would've kissed the ground purely out of thanks that it was horizontal. He was with Esther and Nico, though, so he just shakily picked himself up and strode over to the fiery-haired girl's side.

"That wasn't too bad." It was actually really bad, but the view at the top was worth it. Santalune Forest, lit up a million shades of green, from an angle he'd never even dreamt of. Monty was a little breathless as he took it all in.

"My whole life spent in Kalos, yet I haven't seen something like this." The words just flowed out unconsciously, less a statement to his companions as it was to himself.

What else had he missed out on all these years, cooped up inside Lumiose's towering walls? He looked over at Esther, her fiery-tipped hair lit brilliantly by the afternoon sun. Her eyes were fearless, and her stance was firm. This was the second time now that her tenacity had gotten him into a situation that he would've never considered until she was just shoving jars in his hands, and waiting expectantly for him and Nico to get their gear on.

As Monty gazed back out over the forest, he realized with half-a-start that he would've never seen the view if not for her.

Adrianne Silvers (Normal Class: 96,094)
Tangelo Island, Orange Archipelago (June 1st)

"Oh hey, you are awake! That's good cause we're almost at shore!"

The bubbly words of Adrianne spoke up once Reggie seemed to snap awake. Seems he was shocked that he was out of it long as he was, even if he seemed to not realize just how long that had been. She tapped her chin in thought before she pulled out her device and checked the time whistling a bit before she turned to Reggie.

"Well, it's been over six hours. Sun is starting to set for us, good thing we're gonna be on dry land soon." Adrianne explained, though far as the matter of anything interesting that happened while he was asleep...

"Use Peck!" Adrianne called out, as Ace sailed through the air and slammed into what seemed to be a Tentacool as the latter seemed to cry out from the blow and was sent splashing onto the water.

"Oh no Tentacool!" A girl cried out, a blonde named Courtney with a ponytail who seemed to have been locked in a match with Adrianne; the girl using a raft of her own while Adrainne had issued commands from the back of her lent Gyarados. And as the Tentacool surfaced it seemed to be out of commission as the Drone Rotom that had been the judge for this battle quickly had made a decision.

"Tentacool is unable to battle, Ace the Spearow wins. The winner of the match is Adrianne Silvers!"

"Alright good work Ace!" Adrianne congratulated as Ace proudly cried in victory before it was returned. Her foe Courtney sailed off and the Drone Rotom flew away while she checked her score and indeed her ranking had risen once more.

Normal Class: 96,094.

Adrianne's face seemed to beam with pride as she turned to Reggie. "Hey did you see that Ace just..." Adrianne had began to say before she noticed Reggie had still been asleep and seemed to have a sweat drop.

....well, upped my ranking a bit with a sea battle. You must've been out of it cause you slept through the whole thing. Beyond that, been a quiet ride." Adrianne explained with a smile as the Gyarados soon parked itself on the beach as Adrianne hopped off and patted its back.

"Good work Gyarados. Sure Professor Ivy would be proud, you earned a break." Adrianne said as she returned the Rider Pokemon Ivy had lent her and sighed looking upon the beach to gaze on the sights as this island seemed to be more populace than the last one.

Interactions: Adrianne Silvers, Ivy's Gyarados (Godjacob)

Reggie wiped the tired from his eyes, blinking them rapidly and then looking around with some slight confusion, trying to get a handle of where they were. The sun was setting, and their next island was right in front of them. The Munna cooed and patted Reggie's shoulder before floating back up and resting herself on his head after he ran a hand through his blond hair to keep it back. "Six hours...?" He groggily asked, stretching his arms out and yawning - his arm hastily snapping to his mouth to hide the unsightly reflex - before relaxing upon the Gyarados once more.

"Wait... You said... Six hours? And it's evening?" He groaned, slamming his forehead into the Gyarados's back, the Munna popping off before he could smash her with him. "Greeaaat.... I'm not gonna be able to sleep tonight..."

He sat back up as they came onto the beach, Reggie smiling at Adrianne tiredly. The energy he had before he took a fat nap was like it was drained from him, as if the six hours of sleep amounted to nothing. "Well, good job on getting up the ranks. What rank are you?" He asked, swinging his legs over and hopping off the Gyarados before the sea serpent disappeared into the PokeBall. Though, he nearly lost his footing, his entire body glowing a light blue as his Munna - eyes glowing of the same color - kept him from tripping onto his face. He gave Adrianne a silly, tired smile, scratching the back of his head as his Munna sat back onto her perch.

"Too bad I didn't get to see you in action. Would've been really cool to see." That's when he looked around and saw there were quite a few people. Huh. He smiled, and he looked back at Adrianne. "So, you thinkin' about tacklin' one of them in a fight, or what?" He said with a somewhat smug, mischievous grin. "I really could use an encore." He chuckled, then shook his head. "Nah, if you don't wanna, you don't wanna." He was about to walk deeper into the island, but then stopped. "Unleesss..." He turned around slowly, looking back at her to see if she was willing to go about fighting one more time. Then he realized her Pokemon might actually need healing.

"Oh, actually, hang on, you want me to heal your Pokemon really quick?" That's when he realized there were people here doing things. "Oh, wonder what they're doing? They busy?"

Zap Zap the Shinx

The creature who arose from the sea was not an opponent Zap Zap had any means of beating and he knew it. Back at home, the pack has hunted very large prey before, but in those cases, they had the support of everyone in the pride. Besides, none of the prey were as big as the Blastoise in question. Out here, there was no one the small Shinx could reliably work off of. Sure, the other trainers in the group were there, however Zap Zap did not know them well enough to reliably plan out an attack. If only the only other member of his pack was here, then at the very least they could decide on a simple course of action.

As Zap Zap was considering his options, the movements of the ginormous Blastoise has caused the ocean to stir quite a bit, washing ashore a variety of things. Seaweed, small Water Type pokemon, rocks, Savannah, sticks... wait hold on.

July 19, Yellow Rock Isle, Johto
Savannah

Finding herself washed ashore, the young woman spat out the breating device from her mouth and took off her goggles. She took a few quick glances around. Naturally, she noticed the gigantic water turtle causing a stir in the sea with it's mere presence. "Oh so that's why the water suddenly started pushing me around." Savannah commented out loud.

~Aldon Larch...~

~Yellow Island, July 19th...~

Aldon watched as the collosal blastoise fired a devastating hydro pump in Naka's direction. It happened so fast that Aldon wasn't even sure you to react or what to do. he definitely couldn't jump in and save the day. Would a protect even block that? He could only watch and wonder.

"Damn... She's dead. Anyways... I wonder what we're gonna eat when we lea- Wait! There she is!" Aldon pointed as he saw her on her riding her aerodactyl. it looked beautiful. As a fan of fossil mon, it was like something straight out of a story book. It seemed dangerous flying a rock dinosaur amidst the hurricane that was this kaiju blastoise.

Then Aldon heard Reina's voice, but couldn't quite make out what she was saying. He looked and remembered something important.

"Oh shit... I nearly forgot about her..." Aldon said looking around for Gene. He eventually spotted her. Luckily Desmond was nearby to keep her safe.

~Abyssal ruins, June 16th...~

"Use block!" Aldon called out. like a pink god of the ocean, a bastion of power and grace. Stability and sheer relentless resistance. Skol stood tall. Creating a barrier. It was just a regular block, nothing too flashy, but it was sufficient as it seemed to have diverted the attack away from the group. Aldon looked towards the pillar to see if it would give a clue. He could only read so fast.

"The king stands brave" were the only words he could read before he would need to turn back to the basculegion was barreling at them again. He could only use block so many times.

"Wunder, Hypnosis! Skol, disable!" Aldon called out. That would only stop it for so long. unfortunately they did little in way of buying time for Aldon to look back at the pillar and decipher more words.

"in the face of" Snap! it nearly bit down Skol, but missed. The basculegion was right there on them. Aldon could feel the ghastly energy the fish was exerting.

"Zen headbutt" Aldon called out. Skol managed to hit it, but it didn't seem to do anything. It came charging and hit Skol with a wave crash. Skol went tumbling back upon impact, which nearly made Aldon panic.

"Use psybeam!" Aldon commanded Wunder. The basculegion wasn't showing signs of slowing down. Aldon looked at the last part of the pillar message, "Danger"

"The king stands brave in the face of danger", but what was Aldon supposed to do with that information? How was he supposed to use that to beat the fish in front of him. Could he even beat it? He wasn't sure if they could leave the ruins faster than the fish so he'd try something silly. With whatever sort of confidence he could muster, he pointed at the fish. "You can do this you two!" Aldon said swimming towards his pokemon. The basculegion began charging at the trio. Aldon was just about to command his Sigilyph to attack, but before he could the basculegion faded as it passed right through them. Gone. The room began to shake. On the other side of the pillar, a door had opened.

For some reason the water didn't feel as cold anymore. As they went to look into the next room, Aldon noticed one set of bones was much larger than the others. Could that be...? Skol looked over at the bones. His gaze slowly moved upwards and upwards until the slowpoke was looking at the ceiling.

Aldon had no clue what Skol was looking at, but didn't wanna think about it. The whole incident had him shaken up a bit. He looked into the next room. It was filled with plants. He couldn't even properly see in the room. he had no clue what he was about to get himself into if he went in there. He thought about going back to the other side, but perhaps he'd look here first? Either way he wanted to get out of the room with the fish bones. Skol

Wild Charge

After getting struck by a series of attacks, the Gyarados started charging a Hyper Beam as a last ditch move. Rick raised an eyebrow. "Really? I wanna see you try..." He muttered. Meanwhile, Iris started gathering energy for a Solar Beam. Though it wouldn't be necessary, as said Hyper Beam ended up being deviated by another series of attacks. Rick only felt bad for the unfortunate pokémon in the sea that possibly got hit by it. In the end, the Gyarados simply turned swam away with the tail between his legs (if he had legs). Rick shrugged. "Welp! Anyways! Where were we? Right, find a way out of this island." He said.

Iris had that solar energy gathered at her horn, shimmering in gold. Rick stared at her, with a hand in his lips, thinking. "He did say you could transform if you had enough energy, so keep it. In fact, keep charging." He told her. Then, a few moments later, his attention shifted back to the ocean, as an oversized Blastoised breached the surface. It didn't look happy for having been disturbed. "Wow! I seem to have a gift for arriving into places at the worst possible times!" Rick exclaimed. Save for a few exceptional cases, it it takes multiple pokémon to take out a giant like this. Fortunately, there were plenty of people in the beach that could help with that. Unfortunately, most of them didn't seen interested in messing with the turtle.

Rick gave Iris a side glimpse. They didn't have much options to attack the Blastoise with, at least not while it was still so far away from the shore. She still had the energy for that Solar Beam charged previously. May as well just use it on a different target. "Aim for the head." Rick commanded with a nod. Iris lowered her head, pointing her horn at the target before firing off a beam of concentrated energy at the Blastoise. For whatever it was worth.

Brian Killian - Trainer rank: 267
July 19th - Ecruteak City, Johto Region

As Gallade's Psycho cut blocked the incoming Air slash, Kelly smirked while Scizor looked back and nodded. "Let's make things more interesting, Double Team!" Kelly called out as Scizor suddenly began to multiply before Brian and Gallade's eyes. "Gallade, this isn't the first time we've seen something like this, prepare a Drain punch and wait for my signal!" Brian said as Gallade closed his eyes and closed his fist as it became coated on an orange light, Scizor laughed as he and the copies all ran around Gallade in an attempt to throw him off, often at times one Scizor jumped out to attack only to phase through Gallade and return to the running ring.

"Yes, of all the trainers I've battled, I remember battling some who utilized a similar tactic, an effective one to be sure, although..." Brian thought to himself as his eyes looked at Kelly's and from the look of them, it seemed like he wasn't the only one waiting for the right moment. His gaze returned to the Scizors and focused on their feet, he noticed how the way they moved didn't seem to kick up even a single stone or leave a small cloud of dust after each footstep... until he noticed one do just that, Brian's expression didn't change, the only thing he did was snap his fingers which made Gallade move his arm back a little more to prepare the Drain Punch, Kelly's eyes widened as she called out. "Now!"

All the Scizors prepared an X-Scissor and immediately closed in on Gallade. "Now!" Brian yelled as Gallade's eyes opened and leaned towards one of the Scizors to deliver the Drain punch, as Scizor charged in, his eyes widened the split second before the punch landed directly into the Bug type's gut, in doing so the rest of the duplicates vanished as the real one was sent back a few meters and hit the ground with a loud thud. Gallade exhaled while Scizor struggled to get up, although just before he could get back on his feet... he slumped and fell back down, the Rotom drone flew down to analyze Scizor before it called out.

"Scizor is unable to battle! Therefore the win goes to Brian Killian of Opelucid City!" Kelly was shocked by the outcome of the battle, but sighed and walked over to her Scizor, she knelt down and tried to help Scizor sit up. "You battled well, Scizor, thank you." Kelly said softly before she returned Scizor to her Poke ball, she then stood up and observed Brian who walked over to his Gallade and put a hand on his shoulder. "Excellent work, brother." Brian said with a cheerful smile while Gallade shared a similar smile before the two looked at Kelly.

"Your strength is admirable, Brian. I can tell you raised Gallade well." Kelly said, although there were clear signs that she merely attempted to look proud even in defeat, though Brian was too kind to point it out. "So are you and your Scizor, I can tell you're not just strong, but smart as well." Brian replied as he reached out to shake Kelly's hand, Kelly happily accepted while her free hand reached into her pocket to get out her Rotom phone, she let out a small sigh as she watched her number increase, Brian returned Gallade to his Poke ball before he checked his phone and smiled to see his decrease, which meant he was closer to reaching the next rank.

"I won't lose to you the next time we meet!" Kelly said before she turned around and let her cape sway in the wind as she walked off. "Until we meet again!" She said and looked back with a confident smile, Brian smiled warmly and doffed his hat to the lady as she left before he put his phone back in his pocket and went back to look at the towers, although this time his gaze seemed more focused on the Burned Tower instead of the Bell Tower.

July 19, Tuesday - Yellow Rock Isle, Johto, Eveline

Eveline saw Naka run away, and thought one thing: uh oh. She would think for a moment, especially considering how Reina and Esther were trying to fight the life-size Gamera cosplayer, and she had an idea that was so incredibly risky and stupid, it could actually work.

"Reina, Esther, I have a plan. I need you to, and follow me on this... weaken the hell out of Disorder. Not with things that'll hurt it physically. I'll have Revengeance help you out though. Come out you two, we're hunting down the friend of all children."

Eveline tossed Disorder and Revengeance out, the Malamar and Pawniard looking up at the giant turtle. Disorder grinned at the prospect of such a good fight. However... Revengeance was quaking in his boots, crying as he ran back to Eveline and hid behind her. She would sigh, then pick him up. He would then look at her with very wide eyes.

"...No. Not in public. I'm not going to do that with other people watching. No, don't you... oh you're giving me the sparkly eyes- YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW FAKE TEAR- ughhhhhhhhh... I swear to god if these two ask about this later you are dead meat... does my wittle Wevengy-engy need his mommy to give him a kissy-wissy? Mwah!~"

After a... interesting display from Eveline accompanied by a clear show of embarrassment on her face, and a small kiss on Revengeance's cheek, they were ready to go. Hopping down and looking at Disorder, Revengeance would proceed to use Metal Sound... on Disorder? Disorder felt nothing from this, however, it seemed that they were completely fine with it, enjoying it even. Contrary was a hell of a drug.

Adrianne Silvers (Normal Class: 96,094)
Tangelo Island, Orange Archipelago (June 1st)

Adrianne couldn't help but chuckle a bit when Reggie nearly stumbled off the Gyarados as he was a touch slow to get off before she returned it to its Pokeball.

"Still Normal Class, rank 96,094. I've got a long way to go to rise the ranks but for my first day happy with my progress." Adrianne said, she had been about to say she'd rather go to the Pokemon Center to heal her party and get some rest tonight but Reggie seemed to gradually come to that thought himself as again she couldn't help but giggle a bit as she found him to be a rather fascinating individual. And if she wanted to tag with anyone on the initial leg of her journey, she had been glad it was someone who had this kind of charming character to them.

"I think my team and I need a bit of rest after our first day. Had a few battles today so like to make sure they get an earned break." Adrianne clarified to Reggie as she glanced at the beach seeing various individuals; people making sand castles, those trying to get a last second surf in and most who seemed to be packing up as they prepared to head out with the sun that dipping down which signaled a coming set.

"I think most people are getting ready to leave. Sun is close to setting after all, and we can just find a Pokemon Center. We can heal up our parities and then settle for the night. And uh, who knows maybe they'll have a TV or something you can entertain yourself with if you have some energy from your extended nap." Adrianne said with a smile as she tried to lighten his situation with some humor, before she gestured for him to follow as she aimed to move off the beach to the city inland.

Man, this rock climbing wall was HIGH. Nico wasn’t afraid of heights, but there was an extent to that non-fearfulness. This was one of those instances. It was all worth it though, as both Esther and Monty said, that view was amazing. He could see the roofed forest of Ouvert Way, and it was really cool. They had Lush Jungle back in Alola, but this looked much better than Lush Jungle. Anyway, He couldn’t believe this is where they were going next, as sometimes, jungles like these have good ingredients! Or.. he'd hoped.

"Well.. The climb was a bit scary.. But this view is awesome! It's like Alola's Lush Jungle, but cooler!" He said, still totally amazed by the sight of the roofed forest. This was totally one of the hotspots of Kalos, or atleast something that looks really cool. Either way, he couldn't wait to get down there for himself, and because he was getting a bit nervous up there.

“I should buy a spyglass...” As it turned out, searching for small pokémon in a densely forested area was tough! Despite Esther’s height advantage, or perhaps because of it, she hadn’t caught exoskeleton nor antennae of a Surskit. With no other choice, Esther resorted to seeking help.

“Paripari, help me out, let’s find a Surskit!”

Once more Esther Munna emerged from its pokéball and settled neatly onto her head. The cloudy patterns of its whisper-thin fur began to pulse with a psychic glow. Esther’s face went blank as her mind hopped onto Pari’s telepathy and went sweeping through the forest at the speed of thought.

Team On-hand: Pyrrha (Jangmo-o), Pariparisithea (Munna), Halay-Alae (Houndour), L’ Basseau (Surskit), La Bamba (Shellos) In Esther’s care: Feebas

‘Kissy-wissy?’ Esther hid a giggle behind her hand. ‘O’ kawaii koto~’.

She was deeefinitely going to bring this up again later, but for the moment—The Kaiju released an agonizing roar as the supersonic waves scrambled its thoughts and then a solar beam nailed it in the head—Eveline was saved by the bellastoise. If there had been any chance at all to resolve things without a fight, they had certainly just shat on it.

“Right, Uhhh, I don’t really have those on me, so I’m gonna try and get up closer.”

Esther wouldn’t be much help with Eveline’s strategy. Although Pyrrha and Halay both knew «Leer» and the former even knew the stronger «Screech», Esther was more of a 'buff herself' rather than 'debuff her opponents' kinda girl. So useful though they might be, Esther and her pokémon had long neglected those moves in favor of the like «Work Up» or «Nasty Plot». Maybe she should change that?

“I hope Reina can help with your plan~” Esther waved off Eveline and ran towards the beach. The mega-blastoise thrashed about in confusion its canons firing erratic «Water Pulses» in every which way; Esther winced when a person-sized water pulse slammed into a small beach shed and turned into beach driftwood.

Blastoise was churning up some serious waves and riding one of these waves, Esther spotted Basseau, and it looked like pond-skating and surfing had an overlapping skill set, because the Surskit hung ten (hung four?) on Esther's board; but...what’s with all the Wingull?

Whatever! They’d given Esther an idea. An idea that could definitely go horribly wrong, but if anything, she could fall back on a bit of luck and «Protect».

Esther returned all her pokémon, except for Pari, to their pokéballs and then dived into the surf and swam to her board. She pulled herself up and eyed the flock of Wingull stuck to her sail.

“Help me out Pari, I want to make a deal...”

Desmond Andrews (Unranked)
Yellow Rock Isle, Whirl Islands, Johto (July 19th)

Desmond of course continued to cower behind the life guard stand, apparently this person either was off ship or decided to flee the scene. Not that he blamed him or her but still seemed annoying as the help was very much needed as he watched members of their group try to use some Status Moves on the foe.

Which so far seemed to only cause widespread chaos as the Blastoise fired Water Pulses all over and one massive one struck the lifeguard stand Desmond had been by as he and Politoed ducked down and the top half of it was blown clean off as it was reduced to soggy rubble.

"I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE!" Desmond cried out with a high pitch as clearly all of this had been a lot for the easily shaken young man, though Politoed provided comfort and helped "guide" Desmond to a new location as they moved behind some rocks on the coast getting a good view of the battle as well as Gene as it hoped that Kricketune managed to aid in dragging the kid back.

Normal class? He's also Normal class, but he wasn't about to say his rank number. Not that he remembered it anyway, he didn't want to make her put him more on a pedestal than she already was. Even though he honestly loved the attention and praise, it was only going to be a matter of time before his issues crop up in a battle soon.

"I'm also in Normal Class, by the way. Not sure if I... Nah, never mind." He waved his hand. No time to be pessimistic of his abilities now. He did get to where he was from his diligence. Hearing she wanted to rest for a bit, and also realizing everyone on the beach was literally doing beach things, Reggie nodded. "Oh. I knew that..." He grumbled, wiping away the tired from his eye with his knuckle as he followed Adrianne deeper into the island.

"Yeah, don't want to overwork your 'mons. That would suck." Reggie absentmindedly commented nonchalantly, his mind slowly waking up now and giving him the bearings he needed. On the idea of a TV, he smiled. "Well, hopefully. I'd rather like to be diurnal again. We'll see what happens tonight. Hopefully nothing b-... You know what, if I say it, I might jinx myself. And by extension, you." He chuckled, though he swore he started seeing shadows in his peripheral vision. Unsettled, he walked closer to Adrianne, not wanting to worry her, and definitely not wanting to alert her.

"So-" His voice cracked from his stress, to which he cleared his throat before continuing. "Uhm... What kind of Pokemon you got now?"

Nakano Saito

Date: July 19 (26yo)
Location: Yellow Rock Beach, Yellow Rock Isle, Whirl Archipelago, Johto
Pokemon Team: Mudster the Swampert, Iwa the Wishiwashi, Aero the Aerodactyl, Hattie the Hatterene, Silenus the Sceptile, Yuki the Froslass, Tochi the Parasect

Interactions: Blastoise
Mentions: Rick and Iris the Rapidash (Ridge), Esther, Pari the Munna, and L'Basseau the Surskit (kyuukestu), Reina, Peque the Swampert, and Storm the Lapras (Hecotoro), Gene, Eveline, Disorder the Malamar, and Revengeance the Pawniard (GQuasch), Desmond, Politoed, and Kricketune (Godjacob), Quincy and Ruby the Sableye (| Korutesu |)

As she came back, she got the last end of a Solar Beam hitting a now confused Blastoise. Raising an eyebrow, she looked down to see Desmond and his Politoed ducking for cover, Gene trying to do something and walking towards the edge of the shore with Desmond's Kricketune stopping her. Towards the water, there was Esther in the water with some tiny blue bug thing that was really hard to pick out among the water and some pink blob, Reina and her Lapras and Swampert standing on the shoreline, and Eveline with her Malamar and some black and red blob. Then there was that guy with the funny looking Rapidash, and near him was someone with a dark... thing.

She looked up to see the now angry Blastoise firing off Water Pulses at random, two hitting the beach. One near Desmond, and the other near Reina. Grimacing, she realized that trying to get close to a Pokemon freaking out like that would make avoiding damage very difficult to do. Releasing a Pokemon onto Aerodactyl's back, the Sceptile stretched before gripping her shoulders tightly upon feeling himself nearly falling back. He looked around, down, then at the Blastoise, and then deadpanned at Naka.

"What? I need to get this thing's blood."

Rolling his eyes, the Sceptile leaned over Naka as she leaned forward, cutting air drag as the Aerodactyl dove towards the waters, his wings barely closed to at least aid in steering while becoming a near speeding bullet. The blur blew down to the ocean, where the Aerodactyl raised his body before hitting the water and angled up towards the Blastoise's stomach, having dodged the Water Pulses so far.

Now it could fall over on them, but she hoped it didn't. She went to swipe at the blue skin with a hand as they passed an arm, realizing just how tough it was. It honestly felt like dozens of hard, tempered leather.

Oh, she hoped her needle didn't break. It was rather big, thicker than two or three of her fingers with a slanted point like a straw to get into a caprisun pouch, but she didn't know if it would work anymore.

Still, status moves were a good option, unless it was like the Totem Pokemon or those in dens that were able to reset the changes done to them and their opponents.

That... That would honestly suck.

As Aero flew back up and had to quickly make a sharp turn to avoid getting hit by another Water Pulse, Naka pulled out three PokeBalls. One, she didn't release yet. She sent out two, the two Pokemon floating in the air. One with latent ghost energy, the other having to make herself float with her own psychic energy.

"Yuki, Will-O-Wisp! Hattie, Life Dew the cannons! Slow down his attacks!" She called out, the Aero then doing a twirl and going upside down as he fell before righting himself to avoid more Water Pulses. The Froslass put her hands out and ghostly blue orbs flew towards the Blastoise, intent on burning it as they quickly darted through the air, even going in front of the Blastoise's vision to confuse it more. The Hatterene's hand made of hair was held outward, two large watery spheres came forward and were shot towards the cannons. One orb then hovered over one cannon each, now turning the Water-Type attacks the Blastoise spewed into healing attacks. With the combined psychic effort of both ethereal Pokemon, they focused on trying to slow down each attack the Blastoise created, hoping they wouldn't blow up the island everyone was on.

Adrianne Silvers (Normal Class: 96,094)
Tangelo Island, Orange Archipelago (June 1st)

Seemed this guy had something on the mind he didn't share with her, he seemed to begin to reveal his own class...but stopped himself before getting to the details. He seemed to speak on possible concerns he had tonight but then he cut himself off. Reggie seemed to either still be trying to wake himself back up as he seemed to be a bit slow on the update of his surroundings, or he had something he preferred to keep to himself.

"Uh, nothing what? Do you have something to say?" Adrianne asked with an eyebrow raised, though as they walked to the city he made mention of what kind of Pokemon she seemed to stop as the realization that she had not shown him her Pokemon or he had not seen them at all hit as her eyes widened. Wow to think they had been at sea for hours and this never came up, granted he was asleep almost the whole way but still she worked to correct it as she pulled out her Pokeballs.

"How about I show you. Come out Aqua...Ace!" Adrianne called out, as a pair of flashing lights seemed to shine before Aqua the Azurill and Ace the Spearow appeared before Reggie. The former seemed to be sheepish as she eyed the newcomer but with Adrianne behind her tried to keep a "casual" face, while Ace seemed to stare the man down with that intense gaze as if he tried to get a read of him.

"Aqua, Ace...this is Reggie. He's gonna be traveling with us on this Orange Island Adventure. So try to be civil." Adrianne said as she passed greetings among all sides.

~Aldon...~

~Yellow Island, July 19th...~

He stood there quietly watching the fight unfold. All sorts of attacks he wasn't expecting to see like a solar beam. He hadn't expected to see some of these people fight it so intensely. Luckily for Aldon, nobody seemed to notice him. Which was sort of its own luck in a way since the blastoise wasn't trying to attack him specifically. He returned Wunder to it's pokéball, then grabbed another one. He looked down at it for a few moments. He walked over to Desmond as he yelled. He turned to look at Desmond and was about to hit him with a look of disappointment, but instead walked past him and clicked his pokéball, sending out a magnemite.

"Magnemite! Maaaag!" Zippy roared. After watching the others go at it so hard, Aldon thought to himself, if you can't beat 'em join 'em. Which in hindsight was a poor choice of analogy, but he decided to assist if he could. Maybe they'd take it down or scare it off. Aldon didn't know but if it didn't work, then maybe he could try teleport away...? He had the psychic pokemon for it.

"Use electro web, Zippy!" Aldon called out. Skol began walking over to Aldon to join him as well.

Oh no... Was he sounding like he didn't trust her? He gave her an apologetic grin and shrugged his shoulders when she asked if he had something to say. "W-well... I mean, it's pessimistic, I shouldn't be saying it in general."

That was the only thing he said about the matter, because her Pokemon took more precedence. He looked as she pulled out an Azurill and a Spearow. The poor Normal/Fairy-Type looked so skittish and the bird looked so fierce. He smiled and waved at them, kneeling on the ground to make himself not so big. "Heya, how are you two?" He asked, sending his hand out slowly for the two to sniff. Though, he was wary that the bird might just peck him.

The Munna still sat atop his head, so the pink tapir thing floated off and set her tiny nubs for feet on the ground, then cooed happily in greeting.

July 1 - Ouvert Way (Route 3), Kalos

"A spyglass wouldn't help much with all that tree cover," Monty mused as he looked down at the forest. He couldn't descern much of anything from their vantage point, and he wondered what exactly the point of climbing up here was beyond contributing to Esther's daredevil streak.

"We'll probably need to climb back down to se-" The criminal's train of thought came to a screeching halt when he turned and saw Esther's blank face and the weird pink pokémon on her head. The view was sweet, but was it really so good that she was in a trance? Ugh, he really didn't want to have to jump to pull her off the ledge if she fell.

Pari— that was what he thought she called it —was faintly glowing on closer inspection. Was it using a move? It was a Psychic-Type...was she communicating with it somehow? Was that something pokémon could do?

No better way to find out than to ask. "What the hell are you doing?"

July 19, Tuesday - Yellow Rock Isle, Johto. Reina, current rank, 34,107

"Peque, stay hidden!" Reina called out, making sure her Pokemon wasn't targeted by the raging Blastoise.

The Swampert knew it couldn't take on such a big opponent on its own, even the blonde crazy lady and her team didn't seem enough to take it out. For now, he submerged under the water, keeping close to the angry giant.

Reina watched as Esther jumped into the water and headed towards her Surskit, it seemed Naka wasn't the only crazy one. Evaline's suggestions was actually interesting, buffing her Pokemon with debuffs? That was something she wanted to see played out. She had the perfect Pokemon for it too, her feather dancing luchador.

"Blue Demon, Feather Dance on the tentacle Pokemon!" She tossed the Pokeball, the fighting flying type coming out with a loud squawk. "Use it three times, go go!"

The Hawlucha began swinging his wings send feathers flying around the Malamar, gaining a blue glow as they floated around it.

"Storm, let's go, can't leave Esther and Naka out there alone!"

Reina jumped into the water, swimming up to her Lapras and climbing on her back. They started to move forward, moving towards Esther and her weird sail boat thing. "So are we all just going to run at that thing?"

Desmond Andrews (Unranked)
Yellow Rock Isle, Whirl Islands, Johto (July 19th)

As Desmond seemed to try to avoid being rained down by Aqua Pulse, though as Politoed had kept close to the panicking photographer Aldon seemed to walk past him. He seemed oddly calm given the insanity around all of them. Desmond had managed to peak as Aldon walked past him and almost swore he saw a brief look of disappointment on his face.

Who was he to judge!? He was a guy who took pictures not battled goliaths!

However, Gene still seemed to be in the crosshairs as Kricketune tried to drag her to safety. And Politoed seemed to want to aid in the battle as everyone else seemed to do, Desmond course cared not for this but as Politoed gave that look Desmond seemed to sweat drop, as he glanced at the massive Blastoise, then at the kid then back at its partner once he saw Aldon, Esther, Reina, Naka...everyone basically trying to aid as he bit his lip and sighed.

"A-all right damn it. Distract it with Water Gun. I'll get the kid away!" Desmond cured out, as Politoed jumped to action as it bounced up and fired a powerful water gun at the Blastoise.

Desmond in turn, dashed across the beach as if his pants had been on fire as he attempted to scoop up Gene and tried to carry him further back. "Someday you are gonna kill me kid!" Desmond cried out as he tried to move the girl, Kricketune and Gene's partner away from the scene.

Adrianne Silvers (Normal Class: 96,094)
Tangelo Island, Orange Archipelago (June 1st)

Adrianne blinked a bit, clearly he had something which caused him discomfort with the topic, was she pushing so hard? Deciding it was for the best to not press the matter. "Well, I think keeping the possibility of an optimistic outcome might help. Can never know." Adrianne said simply to Reggie.

Attention shifted back to the Pokemon present, and while Aqua seemed to be on the shy side the friendly demeanor this Reggie held along with the welcomed cry of Elvira seemed to suggest they had meant well. Glancing up and being given an assured look Aqua seemed to work up a slight if sheepish smile as she nodded at the trainer and Pokemon. "A-azu..."

Ace continued to look with that intense gaze, but as it was nudged by Adrianne it seemed to relax...a spell, and answered the trainer. "Spear." Adrianne decided to do her best guess at a translation for each.

"Think they are saying they are fine, in their own way." Adrianne assured Reggie.

Rick looked on with widened eyes, as some of the trainers started making their way towards the blastoise. Others who were initialy hezitant about joining the fray eventualy changed their minds, for whatever reasons. The more the marrier. Though some of these trainers had some really questionable approaches. Regardless, at the very least, they would provide some nice distraction, probably serve as a meatshield or two, while Rick and Iris would stay at their environment on the beach and attack from there.

Not that the blastoise was focusing any of them, though. Its attacks became erratic after it got struck by a Supersonic, and it started firing off Water Pulses indiscriminately. "Uh oh. Take cover!" Rick shouted as he saw one of the projectiles heading towards them, jumping onto Iris as the mare leaped to the side to avoid the stray water bomb. The Water Pulse was still big enough to splash them upon impact. "Sunny Day!" Rick asked. After briefly shaking the water off, Iris raised her head straight, firing a thin beam of light from her horn at the sky and scattering the clouds.

While Iris focused the beam, however, she got struck by another stray Water Pulse, knocking her on her side and dislodging Rick off her. "Hey! These clothes were almost dry, damn it!" Rick complained, waving an arm and a fist in protest. Iris shook her head before getting back up, shaking the water and sand off her body. Still, the sky was clear and the Sun was shining, so they had the advantage for the time being.

Johto Region
Team On-hand: Pyrrha (Jangmo-o), Pariparisithea (Munna), Halay-Alae (Houndour), L’ Basseau (Surskit), La Bamba (Shellos) In Esther’s care: Feebas

“I was going to put it to sleep but...”, Esther pulled a long face, Naka’s pokémon had just inflicted the Blastoise with a burn. “Okay, new plan...Uhhh.”

In terms of plans, she had no plans. Her current team had her heaviest hitters but...Pyrrha and Halay wouldn’t be much more than mosquitos buzzing around. Esther honestly couldn’t think of a single thing that she could actually do.

It was then that Feebas’ pokéball shook and Esther’s expression went blank as Pari connected them.

“oh...”

“Oh..?”

“OHH! That’s great!”

“Hold on Reina, I’ve got an idea and Feebas is gonna help me.”

The Blastoise’s wild thrashing caused waves to surge, and Esther took advantage of one of these waves to...soar into the sky! She had promised the trapped Wingull freedom in exchange for their assistance and their combined lift was able to keep to goth aloft.

Esther maneuvered herself in front of the Blastoise, gulping as one of its canons pointed in her direction. She sure hoped Feebas knew what it was doing.

The canons roared and Esther threw Feebas’ pokéball in front of her. Feebas emerged, a rainbow radiance scattering off its scales. The water pulse reached Feebas almost instantaneously—but, shockingly, it halted before it could contact the shabby fish pokémon. Feebas’ glow brightened and the arrested water pulse swelled, doubled in size, and then—FWOOOOSH! The attack was returned with even more force than it’d been launched—courtesy of Feebas’ «Mirror Coat»!

Esther pumped her fist as the giant water-balloon exploded across the Blastoise’s face.

“Yea! Take that you over-grown—wait, why is it healing!?”

Reggie gave Adrianne a half-hearted smile about her optimistic outcome statement. He'd love to be optimistic, but he wasn't so sure if he'd be that lucky tonight. Okay, that sounded weird.

Moving on, Reggie watched the Azurill and Spearow act on opposite sides of the spectrum. One very tense, the other very timid. He gave a lighthearted chuckle and nodded. "Good good. This Pokemon here is Elvira. She's like the mother of my team. Oh." He stood up and began fishing through his Pokemon, only to pause. He looked back over at Aqua, then at Adrianne. "If she's afraid of ghosts, you might want to hold her."

He then pulled out three Pokemon Adrianne hadn't seen yet. A Misdreavus popped out of some dark light emitted by the Dusk Ball, the floating blue body-less ghost looked around, then at Adrianne, then trilled before bumping her head into Reggie's chest. She was rather small for a Misdreavus, being not even two feet tall when she should be over two feet tall. Then, there was a floating carapace. The seemingly vacant shell rotated on some invisible axis as it stared blankly at the three nearest them before moving to Reggie's vest pocket, wiggling himself until he was snug inside the pocket - his favorite place. The last one sparkled as he was sent out, the Haunter's blue tongue and blue aura covering his hands when they should be pink and red respectively sparkled. The Haunter - being quite large - looked about then waved with a cheeky smile at Adrianne and her Pokemon.

Reggie gestured to them all, the Pokemon giving each a sound of greeting. "This is Missy the Misdreavus, Bob the Shedinja, and Emeric the Haunter." As if to make up for Reggie's lack of animated flair, the Haunter rotated in the air and then bowed deeply, looking a bit comical.

Nakano Saito

Date: July 19 (26yo)
Location: Yellow Rock Beach, Yellow Rock Isle, Whirl Archipelago, Johto
Pokemon Team: Mudster the Swampert, Iwa the Wishiwashi, Aero the Aerodactyl, Hattie the Hatterene, Silenus the Sceptile, Yuki the Froslass, Tochi the Parasect

Interactions: Blastoise, Esther (kyuukestu)
Mentions: Rick and Iris the Rapidash (Ridge), Esther's Feebas (kyuukestu), Reina, Blue Demon the Hawlucha, Peque the Swampert, and Storm the Lapras (Hecotoro), Aldon and Zippy the Magnemite (ThAtGuY101), Eveline, Disorder the Malamar, Revengeance the Pawniard (GQuasch)

Okay, things were happening rather dumbly. Aero flew around the back of the Blastoise, and Naka watched as those on shore got ready to help in some way they could. An electrical web was being sent at the Blastoise from some metallic ball that she could only assume was a Magnemite. Nearby them, some people were buffing up a Pokemon. Even Desmond's Politoed hopped in to use Water Gun, and a guy with his Rapidash used Sunny Day.

Then she watched as Esther used a flock of sticky Wingull, release her Feebas, and reflect the Water Pulse with Mirror Coat...

Oh... this was poor planning.

That's when Naka remembered her phone. Cursing, she swiftly slipped the Bluetooth in her ear, but realized that Esther was in range of the Blastoise's attacks... Well, unless she's got Feebas, she really doesn't have much to worry about, did she? She called her on her phone, even waving at Esther as she came around the Blastoise - hopefully in her field of vision - and pointing at her phone before pocketing it.

Once she got connected, she started speaking, her voice winded but not exhausted. "Okay, so uh... We should probably work together, haha. My bad. I got a new team for this. I know I burned it, but I don't think that's needed anymore as it's likely going for more ranged attacks. Hattie can cure him of the burn. I had her put Life Dew around his cannons so all his Water attacks from those become healing moves, so that's probably why you're not seeing it get damaged. Haha, sorry about that." She chuckled nervously, then looked down and saw Reina and her Lapras. Her Swampert was likely under them or nearby. "What plan you got? These moves are hardly bothering it, except status moves. Sunny Day is active, by the way."

She then made eye contact with her floating Hatterene, her Aerodactyl hearing her commands meant for Hattie and screeching it to her. "Light Screen!" She nodded and waved her hand in the air, a wall of light appearing in front of the Blastoise. Others attacks going in wouldn't be halved, but special attacks made by the Blastoise would be, like a one-way mirror. If this Light Screen was broken, Hattie had something else up her sleeves for that.

Another screech, intended for her Froslass, echoed out. "Hex!" Then, Aero dove down then up hoping to avoid anymore Water Pulses as the Blastoise might be targeting him as he alerted it to him. The Froslass's eyes glow a mean purple and black as an ethereal wave rockets towards the Blastoise to cover a part of his large body with a reddish, purple haze, using the burn to make her own power stronger for this attack.

Politoed (It's a Pokemon)
Yellow Rock Isle, Whirl Islands, Johto (July 19th)

Course the Politoed could only do what it could, as it seemed like Naka was trying to get in contact with something...maybe? It had been hard to tell all things from this distance and the frog only had a presumption to go by and with the Sunny Day in effect its water attacks would be weakened.

So, it improvised. And had began to scoop up sand to mix with water and dirt in its mouth as the Politoed tried to fire some Mud Shots from the shore. While these likely wouldn't have done much damage, it continued to try to distract the Blastoise to open up attacks for others. And as it hopped about to avoid the Water Pulses it tried to fire a shot in the Blastoise's eyes as if it could hinter its vision maybe it'd make a difference.

Adrianne Silvers (Normal Class: 96,094)
Tangelo Island, Orange Archipelago (June 1st)

The team mom huh? Seems fitting and given Reggie nearly crashed here as her first impression of him perhaps this poor Munna had her fans full but she had not been about to presume. Either way she had been given a warning by Reggie that he was about to introduce some Ghost Pokemon which sounded cool to her but her attention shifted to Aqua as she moved to a knee and patted her back affectionately.

"Hey hey it's okay. Ghost Types are like any other Pokemon. Remember I'm here with you and they just want to say hi." Adrianne said, as Aqua seemed to nod a bit as she'd try to put on a friendly face. So far Reggie seemed nice enough, as did his Munna and she desired to extend the same warm air sheepish as she naturally had been. Adrianne then glanced over to Ace. "And you, try to be a little friendly. We are meeting new friends that scowl is gonna give off the wrong idea."

The Spearow seemed to roll his eyes at this, but Ace none the less attempted to soften its gaze. Not completely, but it least showed it was willing to entertain the notion.

Soon enough the Pokemon came: First a small Misdreavus nicknamed Missy, a Shedinja nicknamed Bob and a large shiny Haunter nicknamed Emeric who had stuck its tongue out in a warm greeting. Ace and Aqua held up pretty well, though the tongue reveal had caused Aqua a slight flinch which Ace seemed to snicker at before a glare from Adrianne stopped it. Either way, both Pokemon seemed to scan and then tried to communicate a return greeting to the trio. "A-azu..." "Spearow."

"Wow these are so cool, and you caught a shiny! This is awesome." Adrianne said, before she flipped her Pokedex to scan the data of the three Ghost Pokemon.

"Misdreavus, the Screech Pokemon. It gets nourishment from fear that it absorbs into its red orbs. In daytime, it sleeps in darkness."

"Shedinja, the Shed Pokemon. A peculiar Pokémon that floats in air even though its wings remain completely still. The inside of its body is hollow and utterly dark."

"Haunter, the Gas Pokemon. Because of its ability to slip through block walls, it is said to be from another dimension."

~Aldon...~

~Yellow Island, July 19th...~

Aldon looked over at Desmond and politoad who seemed to have joined the fray. Giving a slight head nod as a slight sign of approval. He then turned to look at Naka and see her put her bluetooth in and was confused for a moment.

"Is she listening to music now?! I wonder what song she's listening to... I should ask her when this minor inconvenience is dealt with..." Dolan said in confusion. He then turned his attention back to the blastoise. The other problem. It was sunny now. Aldon thought about commanding Skol to attack but knew he might need him to remain by his side just in case.

"Do it again, Zippy!" Aldon said. The boy has no clue on how much damage his attack was doing, but at least it would slow the beast down if only a little.

"Magna! Magna! Mite!" Zippy called out. It began spinning rapidly fast. Electricity began to form around the scree on the top of its head. Then fire! At the electric attack headed towards the creature, it began to take the form of a web. Skol watched the entire time, patiently awaiting a command with a grin on his pink face. Gwen Tucker - 16th of June - A park in Eterna City, Sinnoh
Gwen pouted as she heard Ron and Naka's response, but maybe she could come up with something of her own to do. She did have a new pokemon to care for and would need to spend time with. Besides, Ozzy seemed really playful. With.. biting being his way to play. Well, either way she would need to try and help out her new pokemon's vision issues if possible. Maybe do some reading on what the dex has to say on Deinos. As well as spend time with Cobalt of course.

"Fine- I guess you two can go, but you better hold on to your promise Mr. Punk!" Gwen exclaimed and crossed her arms, though Ron's promise of going somewhere fun after she's won her gym badge did make her feel better, "I can come up with something to do for myself. I've got my pokemon to be with after all," the blue haired girl said and went to crouch down beside her Piplup and pet his head. Cobalt seemed apprehensive for a second before accepting the affection, leaning into his trainer's hand as she scratched an itchy spot under his feathery cape.

Ozzy on the other hand tumbled down from Orochi's back and let out a happy cry, finding it fun to tumble down so. The small Deino then rushed up to the Zweilous, but instead of taking another chomp or headbutting him, Ozzy rubbed the side of his face against the bigger dark/dragon type pokemon.

In Esther’s care: Houndour

Esther blinked as her mind brushed something that seemed happy and curious.

“Uhhh...Oh! Sorry, well...I told you about Houndour, right? She was captured by poachers and well...she doesn’t think trainers are any better. I... can’t really disagree. We don’t have pokémon trainers in Oblivia, no pokéballs or anything like that, so I’ve never really thought about it. Anyway, Houndour gets really upset when she sees pokémon ‘captured’, so I’ve been using Pari’s telepathy to get pokémon to join my team.”

The Oblivian gestured to the forest below. “It took a while, but I found something that didn’t seem too hostile, so I think I’ve got my Surskit. Or at least, I hope it’s a Surskit.”

"I can't say I'm inclined to disagree with your Houndour, either." Oracle and Abnégarde were themselves living proof of the pup's apparent conviction. Both were poached from their homes, and both had essentially joined Monty because they had no other option.

Furthermore, the end of Esther's explanation caught his attention. 'Telepathy'...could it see into his head? Shit, this day was getting better and better. Monty knew that the cop-in-training taking her leave was too good to be true! Now there was another route to his activities being exposed.

Whatever. He always beat Michel in card games for a reason —Monty had a phenomenal poker face.

The criminal hooked his harness to one of the iron anchors staked at the top of the hill, mentally preparing himself for the descent down, and something in Esther's explanation sprung to mind. "Wait. If there are no trainers in Oblivia, what made you want to go out and become one yourself?"

Though Monty was never interested in becoming a trainer himself, pokémon training was as fundamental to the world he knew as money or wiping your ass. None of the Old Guard were trainers, until a few weeks ago, but he could barely comprehend an entire region without so much as a poké ball. Esther really was strange if she was galavanting around training with a home like that.

July 19, Tuesday - Yellow Rock Isle, Johto, Eveline

After Blue Demon had used their Feather Dances and Revengeance had used their Metal Sounds, Eveline looked at Disorder and nodded.

"Disorder, Swagger that giant beast! Then take advantage of that with your killing technique!"

Disorder grinned, floating straight toward Blastoise, flying up to the side of their face and using Swagger, it was actually beneficial for them to make the thing stronger. Eveline would send out Dominance, hopping on top of them and flying up to Naka's general location. She would be careful not to get caught by the beast, finally reaching Naka and joining in the conversation about planning. Luckily, she had a basic idea of what to do.

"Yeah, I have a pretty good idea how to subdue this thing. Reina already helped get Disorder ready to beat them senseless. I need you to remove that burn ASAP, Disorder is buffing the Blastoise with Swagger. He's going to slam 'em with a Foul Play, and with how big that boy is, it'll hurt more than the worst breakup you've ever seen. It's going to need like, a million mommy kisses to make it feel better. Es, since you can hear me, I need you and Naka to distract them as best you can before Disorder knocks them down. Revengeance will likely try to help you... he's probably running over right now to poke them. Got it?"

Disorder was getting ready to use Swagger twice more, and below Revengeance was ninja running over to stab the hell out of the giant Blastoise. He would run past Esther as they jumped at the monster's foot, whapping them with a Fury Cutter. How cute.

Reginald Valerias

Date: June 1
Location: Tangelo Island, Orange Archipelago
Pokemon Team: Emeric the Shiny Haunter, Elvira the Munna, Bob the Shedinja, Large Marge the Drifloon, Missy the Misdreavus
WCS Rank: 70,231

Interactions: Adrianne Silvers, Aqua the Azurill, and Ace the Spearow (Godjacob)

Adrianne's attempt at soothing the Azurill seemed to do its job when Reggie brought out his three sweethearts. It also warmed Reggie's heart seeing someone so caring for their Pokemon. He hoped she didn't stop this level of care. The Misdreavus stopped being shy for a moment as she left Reggie's chest and gazed at the two Pokemon and their human before her. Adrianne's reaction to having seen his Haunter's shininess had him chuckling, his hand scratching the back of his head.

"Haha, thanks." He waited for the Pokedex to stop speaking before continuing. "My parents actually kinda like... Felt bad that I didn't get a starter when I was ten, so they tried to get my favorite Pokemon for me when I hit sixteen. Oh, oh!" He then walked over to wrap and arm around his Misdreavus, who squished herself against his side. "They also have a very eerie voice that startles people when it wails or screams or cries. But, I've managed to get her to turn it into singing so I can have her do contests!" His energy seemed to come back and he gestured with his other arm for Missy to show it.

She looked between the three audience members, breathed in through an open mouth, paused...

Then whimpered and pushed her face in his side, making Reggie chuckle. "Awww, Missy, no need to be so shy, pleeaaase?" He cooed, petting the ghostly hair that ended up cloaking his hands in the same aura that kept her afloat. She shook her head adamantly and disappeared within her Dusk Ball. Clicking his tongue, Reggie stood there with his hands on his waist before chuckling and waving his hand in the air nonchalantly. "Eh, she'll do it later. I got her while I was in Sinnoh when I was going through the forest and stuff."

He then moved onto his Shedinja, pulling him out of his pocket. He petted the spot between his eyes. While the Shedinja's eyes never blinked, it let out an eerie echoing clicking sound that reverberated deep within its shell. "There is a rumor that if you stare into the hole on his back, your soul gets sucked in but I've been doing that ever since I got him in Sinnoh, and he's never done that to me. Wonder if that's the burning Ponyta mane scenario...?" He mused as he looked off to the side before going back to talking about his Pokemon, putting the Shedinja back in his breast pocket. "He loves my pockets, silly." He teased, petting the shell's head again before moving on. "Technically, the shell is possessed by something, which is why the shell doesn't really move, even when doing attacks."

Then, his Haunter came up behind him and licked the back of his neck. The tingling sensation had Reggie yelping and he jumped. "EMERIC!! That was coooooold." He whined, rubbing the back of his neck as his Haunter laughed gleefully, holding his stomach with his disembodied hands as his entire body threw itself back. Reggie gave him a pout before going back to Adrianne. "Anyway, apparently when they lick people, it causes shaking, but obviously, I'm not shaking." He held up his hands to show he's absolutely as still as a statue. "It only causes shaking because his tongue is like getting licked by freezing cold air, as... Well, his entire body is made of gas. OH! See-" He excitedly gestured for the Haunter to come to him. Sensing his intent, Emeric zoomed over to him to float above him, then...

Ate his head.

Reggie patted the Haunter as if it was some cartoon where the character got his head stuck in some bucket - body moving around comically and spinning around as he struggled to even grab at the Haunter's skin - before grabbing the Haunter despite his gaseous body and pulling him down, his head now sticking out of the Haunter's back, arms out of his sides, and the Haunter now around his torso. "Ta-daaaaaa~." He held up his hands as if doing some jazz hands, then patting the Haunter. "Okay, Emeric, you're really cold, you can stop now."

Emeric didn't move.

Reggie groaned with exasperation. "You tryin' ta get me sick, bud?" He pouted, which prompted Emeric to move out of his body with another laugh, the Ghost/Poison-Type floating high up into the sky as if his own laughter and giddy feelings of happiness sent him soaring. "Aaaaaand I return thee." He called out, putting his Haunter back into his PokeBall with a return beam.

He then looked back at Adrianne and her Pokemon, a gleeful look on his face. "How was that?"

Nakano Saito

Date: 1 Month Ago (26 years old); June 16
Location: Eterna City Vendor and Park, Sinnoh
Pokemon Team: Chu the Pichu, Fluffy the Flareon, Hanu the Infernape, Yuki the Froslass, Aero the Aerodactyl, Orochi the Zweilous

Interactions: Gwen Tucker, Cobalt the Piplup, and Ozzy the Deino (IDKWhatUserNameToDo), Ron Towers, Linkin the Blastoise, Monster the Tyranitar, Evanes the Skarmory, Marley the Raichu, and Luz the Espeon (Hecotoro)

Naka understood that he couldn't have Luz near the 'big bois', as she wanted to call them. But it didn't make any sense on keeping her from Flareon. She probably figured Ron knew about Fluffy's interest in Luz, but she preferred to let these things happen naturally. If they worked out, they worked out. If they didn't, it didn't. No need to force a relationship to happen or not happen.

Fluffy saw Luz's attempts to reach him, his ears falling. He looked up at Ron through the table, resentment and reluctance in his gaze. He let Espeon touch his big fluffy tail before he moved away, slinking his way out of the table and going to a bush to hide. Even as Ron relented.

Which, had Naka laughing. Huh, there was a smile on his face. Did he like getting into fights? His attempt at pushing Naka away didn't really work as planned, but she did relent and move away, her point having been made and giving Fluffy some leeway in hanging out with Luz. She noticed a pause in his tone though. That they could do something with Gwen. Why? Naka watched Ron apprehensively, but kept the fact he knew his name a secret anyway. She didn't want to spook him, of course.

Chu was having the time of her life with Marley, sparks jumping out from them as Chu rubbed her cheeks against Marley's. Aero silently sat beside Evans, being a wonderful Pokemon and people watcher. Yuki kept an eye on Monster and if he'd ever stop being grumpy, while Hanu had a blast showing off his strength against Linkin.

Naka laughed when Ron said Luz can make a Primeape fall asleep with her purr, finding that mental image hilarious. "Could you imagine....?" She wheezed out, trying not to accidentally breathe something else in and cough on it.

Gwen's reluctance also had Naka giggling, but the woman waved her hand nonchalantly at Gwen's exclamation. "Don't worry, I'll make sure he does." She said jokingly, elbowing him lightly on the shoulder with a challenging grin.

Ozzy's playful nature had Orochi cooing and making those sweet noises Naka rarely heard. Of course, they were gruffer now, but Ozzy was actually helping her Zweilous get back to being what he should have been. Being rubbed against, Orochi bowed his heads and rubbed his faces against Ozzy, letting out a soft growl-like, affectionate purr.

"Man, I don't even want to take these Pokemon from each other. They are just so happy." Naka smiled, gazing at all of their interactions as if she hadn't seen it this often either. "It's good to sit around and have fun every once in a while. Almost forgot what that was like for a moment there." She chuckled, looking back at Ron. "Ready to go when you are." She said with such a chipper tune, she didn't even think it was possible for her to sound like that.

July 19, Yellow Rock Isle, Johto
Savannah

Getting back on her feet, the first thing Savannah noticed was the chaos going on around her. The Blastoise was now seemingly firing projectiles off at random while the many other people around began their counterattack against the giant water tortoise. The next thing she noticed was Zap Zap running up to the young woman's side. She quickly turned towards him. "Oh hey Zap Zap, did you have fun?" She asked innocently. The Shinx's response to that ill timed comment was slight a scowl and a quick bark. Savannah's face quickly shifted to a more serious expression. "Right, we can talk about that later. We have a pretty big problem ahead of us right now."

Savannah squinted her eyes, narrowing her vision on the Blastoise and it's attackers a good distance out in the ocean. "Hmm, they're pretty far out there and it and it looks like a lot of happening." She commented. Zap Zap was doing the same as he also looked on at the action out at sea. "Well I don't think there's much we can do from here. I think it's time I try out this trainer thing!" The young woman added before pulling out 3 pokeballs that were attached to her wetsuit. Opening them up, the pokeballs revealed a Chinchou, a Corsola and a Golduck. Chinchou looked around nervously while Corsola was jumping happily and Golduck simple had his arms crossed with his head facing downward. "Alright! Now let's do this!" She shouted eagerly, before abruptly pausing. Something clicked inside Savannah's mind as she was about to take her first step as a trainer. "Wait, what do I do from here? I know I have to give orders so my pokemon can act, but what do I say exactly?" She pondered. "The others made it look so simple too."

Seeing this, Zap Zap gave his partner a disapointed but not surprised look. He knew that Savannah was a bit slow when it came to learnig new things and was more of a act first think later kind of person. The pokemon that Savannah caught on the other hand, were less familiar with the wild girl. The Chinchou and Corsola tilted their heads in confusion as they saw their new trainer's blundering while the Golduck appeared to be staring at Savannah with a rather annoyed expression.

July 19, Tuesday - Yellow Rock Isle, Johto. Reina, current rank, 34,107

Esther was flying, so was Naka and Evaline? Turns out anything could be made into an aerial transport these days. The Blastoise was getting swarmed with moves, which was maybe a good thing. The amount of power being displayed by the giant Pokemon was amazing and scary at the same time, any wrong move from any of the Reina's friends could end up being trouble for the rest of them.

"Storm, Peque, stay close and be ready. They seem to have this under control, but we can't let our guard down with such a Pokemon." She figured her Lapras was pretty essential to the team, being able to take the water hits from the Blastoise without taking any damage, so she would relay on her Swampert to help out the rest in the mean time. "Peque, Mud Shot!"

The Swampert's head emerged from the waters. He opened his mouth wide, shooting several mud balls like bullets towards the belly of the monster. Storm let out an uncomfortable roar, feeling that the battle was about to become worst.

Esther’s expression...stiffened. Her lips pressed into a thin line, her jaw tensed and locked and even the wind rustled her hair in such a way that her very being ignited with an unspeakable intensity. The Oblivian squeezed out a smile after a concerted effort to relax. “Ask me again later, okay?”

She paced over to the edge of the cliff and promptly began climbing down.

Nakano Saito

Date: July 19 (26yo)
Location: Yellow Rock Beach, Yellow Rock Isle, Whirl Archipelago, Johto
Pokemon Team: Mudster the Swampert, Iwa the Wishiwashi, Aero the Aerodactyl, Hattie the Hatterene, Silenus the Sceptile, Yuki the Froslass, Tochi the Parasect

Interactions: Blastoise, Esther (kyuukestu), Eveline and Dominance the Honchkrow (GQuasch)
Mentions: Reina, Peque the Swampert, and Storm the Lapras (Hecotoro), Aldon and Zippy the Magnemite (ThAtGuY101), Disorder the Malamar and Revengeance the Pawniard (GQuasch), Savannah, Zap Zap the Shinx, Golduck, Corsola, and Chinchou (Grand Master Koop), Desmond and Politoed (Godjacob)

Looking down at Esther had let Naka see that Desmond's Politoed was now hurling mud, aiming for the eyes, but she wasn't so sure if the Politoed's attack would reach, Reina's Swampert hurling its own mud at its belly, and Aldon's - what Naka realized now - Magnemite using Electro Web. She also saw what looked like Savannah release three more Pokemon, but didn't do much.

Naka looked over to see the girl from earlier with the Malamar flying over to her on a Honchkrow. Dark specialist? She watched with increasing dread that her Malamar was boosting the Blastoise's Attack with Swagger. Then Foul Play.

She internally cringed.

She spoke with the call still going with Esther, so she can hear this, too. "Burn doesn't affect the power output of Foul Play if your opponent has it, but it does affect it if your Malamar has it, since he's using the move, not the opponent. I should know, my brother used it on me countless times. Plus, I hope those Feather Dances boosted his Attack for use of other moves as Foul Play doesn't have an increase in power from having his own Attack boosted. I am not letting Hatterene use Aromatherapy. If I do that, then it will have free reign and I DO NOT want to see what its Rapid Spin would be like, if it has the move. Aero, let's get Esther."

Naka didn't know how the Pawniard would manage to get at the Blastoise's foot when it a good portion of it was underwater, but she then flew towards Esther to make sure to grab her if things went awry.

She told Aero commands for Hattie and Yuki, then prepared to return them when things got dicey by holding the PokeBalls for them. With a screech, Aero relayed commands to the two Pokemon. Hattie used Dazzling Gleam, the bright light being made in the palm of her hand, then being thrown at the beast's eyes as it blew up in a bigger light. Yuki used Hex again, the Blastoise's body burning with red smoke as the added burn made the attack far stronger.

Ron Towers, Eterna City, Sinnoh.

Ron couldn't help but feel a bit bad for the Flareon. The last thing he wanted to was to have Naka against him for it also. He swallowed his pride and sighed loudly.

"Listen Floffer, It's Luz turn to be out of her Pokeball today. So, the concert gets a little... loud. You mind keeping her company and making sure she's okay during it?"

Ron tried not to smile at Naka's remarks and Gwen's innocence, he didn't want to grow soft on them so soon. Instead he got up, raising his hands. "Alright, let's pack it up then?" He couldn't help but smile at his two companions cheerful mood. "Gwen, make sure to let us know what Hotel you're staying at, so we can catch up, alright?"

As he waited for everyone to get ready to leave, he returned his Pokemon except Luz and Marley. The Raichu went from cheerful to giving Ron a grumpy look. Sparks coming from her cheeks while she held Chu like a Kangaskhan holding her offspring.

"Marely, look..." Ron sighed as he held the Pokeball that was to be used to return the Raichu, "You got to go to the last two concerts. It's Luz's turn this time. I know, you love them, but she needs to practice being around more crowded areas."

Marley looked away from her trainer, clearly upset while she set her Pichu down. She crossed her arms and wrapped her tail around her as the red beam returned her back into her Pokeball.

"Okay, I'm gonna pay for that later. Luz, you ready girl?"

Meanwhile, the Espeon had followed Fluffy, sniffing the air to guide herself towards his location. She purred as she felt his puffed up tail, using her claws to try and puff it up more. She didn't have such a majestic tail and it felt great to feel something so soft. Maybe, on a chilly day she could take a nap on it. The idea that Ron pitched only made Luz a bit more excited, she never got to be with others of her kind, which made the opportunity unique. She walked around Fluffy, trying to get used to him more, sniffing the air around him and using her tail to feel his ears, even rubbing the top of her head against his cheek.

"I guess she is..." Ron said, looking a bit annoyed before turning towards Naka and Gwen. "Okay, let's head out. Gwen, if the Rotom does anything, let me know right away, okay?" He looked at Naka, "So, you're gonna laugh like that the whole time? Just so I can prepare myself mentally." He teased with a smug look on his face. "Come one, first round is on me." He began to walk away, looking over his shoulder at Gwen, "Be careful!"

Not like he cared if she was careful or not. At least, that's what he tried to tell himself.

Nico Zacharias Flynn
Date: July 1st
Location: Ouvert Way - Santalune Forest, Kalos

Nico was running around in the forest, looking around for mushrooms, and different types of flora, for spices. Pepper was helping too! The forest was so nice, and pretty, and it was pretty calm in there. There were a bit of Pokémon running around, although none caught his eye. He kept walking around the forest, and finding himself in a deeper area. It was dark, but the ambience was nice.

He noticed a green figure running around in the trees, it was weird. It was probably a Pokémon, right? Nico looked around, and it was gone. He didn't realize it, but the Pokémon was behind him, taking one of his pans, the Pokémon clearly interested in it. Nico turned around to see it, and he was astonished, but very interested to see what it would do. He took out his Pokédex to see what kind of Pokémon it was.

He pointed the Pokédex at the Pokémon, as a robotic voice started speaking. "Pansage, The Grass Monkey Pokemon. A Grass Type." Nico was totally interested now, and seeing the face of the Pansage, it was pretty interested in his stuff too. Nico waved a small hello to the Pansage, wanting to get one for himself. The Pansage looked confused, looked around, and then smiled at Nico. Yes! This could work, maybe Nico could catch this guy! He took out a Pokéball, and then throwing it at the Pansage. The ball shook once. twice. thrice. Click!

Nico now had a new Pokémon! He was so excited. "I'll name you Brocolli! You've got that little brocolli on your heal, so I thought it would be fitting." Nico said excitedly. But now, where is Monty and Esther? He'd lost them again, dang it. He walked back over to where he came from, hoping it would get him out of the forest, cause who knows what's in there.
