Naka smiled as Gwen greeted her and told her what she had been doing the past night. She checked out Ozzy and laughed, aww'ing at how cute it was. "That's adorable. And heyyy, Cobalt's a model Pokemon now. Awesome." She half teased but meant the compliment as it actually looked like Cobalt wasn't being a menace.
"Yup, I'm ready. Oh, haha, Fluffy is more of a guard Pokemon than one used for prestige battles. Don't tell him this but-" She then quietly spoke, leaning forward. "But he's not experienced in battle just yet." She then returned to her regular voice and straightened up. "I'll be using my Infernape, Froslass, Aerodactyl, Zweilous- OH!" She spotted Ron on a bench nearby and waved towards him. She saw the smoothie and playfully glared at him. "You better give us those smoothies after our challenge!" She called out to him. "Anyway." She went back to Gwen. "And my Ludicolo and Sceptile. Oh, I need to show you two to my best friend."
Naka fished out an old PokeBall, looking at least over ten years old. She sent it out, the Sceptile emerging in a flash of light. The 6'3" (190 cm) Sceptile stretched and yawned, then looked around. He saw Gwen and waved. "Silenus, this is Gwen, and her Pokemon Cobalt and Ozzy. Gwen, Cobalt, Ozzy, this is Silenus." The Grass-Type's tail subtly wagged as he gazed at the adorable human child and her child Pokemon, cooing. "And Silenus." The Sceptile looked at her. She then whispered to Silenus, so Gwen couldn't hear Ron's name.
The Sceptile looked over at the human on the bench, tilting his head. He smelled Naka, then narrowed his eyes. He walked over to Ron, tilting his head and smelling him. He didn't have to get close, the Sceptile can smell Naka's scent all over this guy. What the hell were they doing last night?
Wait...
Everything on Sceptile's body drooped and then perked right back up again as he glared at Naka. Walking over, Naka laughed as Sceptile gestured wildly before crossing his arms and looking away, huffing. "What are you upset about? Upset you didn't get to see him first?" He nodded, then got near to her face, where he actually enunciated a word he heard someone say in their shared past.
"Hoe-"
"OOOkayyyyy!" Naka pushed on Sceptile's face, making him lean back and snort. She then pulled out her phone and looked at Ron. "So, phone numbers? Before I forget?" Naka giggled, her Sceptile rolling his eyes and staring at Ron to judge if this guy was of any good character or not.

Hah, if he wasn't so bothered his experience, Reggie would have laughed at her pout. But he didn't want her feeling bad about it either.
He was exceptionally surprised at having gotten information on the Aura Guardians, even all the way out here. He stood there, blinking a few times before grinning wide. Awesome! He didn't have to explain how it came about! And when she returned his promise, he grinned even wider. "Good, good." Aside from sounding like an evil villain plotting their next attack, he went to look for his wallet as he continued to speak.
"There are people now who can access and tap into these aura abilities with training, but because the training has been mostly lost to time, those who can do so either have to be really gifted and lucky in having their abilities manifest, or they may not know they have these abilities until way into adulthood. But around the same time as Aura Guardians, there were also those who have other abilities that have been passed down through the generations. In modern times now, Sabrina, a Psychic-Type Gym Leader from Kanto, an amazing psychic. Can talk without moving her lips, use a doll as her medium, maybe block attacks but I'm not too sure on that one, and float people and Pokemon. There are also just random schmucks where they are able to channel their ESP abilities and float PokeBalls around them. And there are even extremely strong humans who can match even quite strong Fighting-Types." He looked at her excitedly, a little gleam in his blue eyes. "But there are also those who have a more spiritual connection to the world around them. Others may call them Hex Maniacs, but that's what we call people - usually creepy emo girls - with an obsession of Ghost-Types. But no, there are some people who can see spirits. Either humans, Pokemon, or even see through a Ghost-Types invisibility and have a heightened sense to their presence. But many of these people are also empaths, and some of these people have some telekinetic abilities."
Finally finding his wallet in his backpack he had to set down, he then pulled out the family picture and showed it to her. There was a younger Reggie, with a taller man in a suit behind him - blond hair greying with hazel eyes. His mother in a purple blouse and grey skirt, with long black hair in a ponytail and blue eyes, stood beside them with her arm on Reggie's father's shoulders and a hand on Reggie's shoulder.
"These two are my parents. This was taken when I was ten. Around the time when my abilities started manifesting. It didn't really help that they were also cursed item hunters. They followed the distant Ed and Lorraine's footsteps - my great grandparents - in finding cursed objects to then take back home and hide them within a basement so that nobody else can be cursed and harmed by these dangerous items affected by malevolent energies. However, to make it a paying job, they would send some of these less dangerous items to a museum for exhibition. Just as long as nobody touches them, everything's fine. But the close proximity to just being near these things caused my abilities to not only manifest faster, but make them worse. I now can't shut it off, and it gives me horrific nightmares, the stress of sleeping giving me insomnia and narcoleptic-like symptoms when I stay up for too long. That person I saw through the window wasn't actually anyone alive, I just didn't want to scare you with the whole "I see dead people" thing." He chuckled sheepishly, taking back his photo after she was done looking at it.
"So... How about it? The... Admittedly cool, yet creepy origins." He asked, scratching the back of his head in some concern. "Oh, I can do this." He held out his wallet in his up-turned palm, his eyes focusing in on it. His eyes shined blue, and so did his wallet. It floated a bit up in the air, a big smile on his face. But once he did that, it dropped back into his hand. "A cool party trick, but I haven't done anything heavier and I suck at concentrating." He laughed.
His Munna had watched the rise and fall of his wallet, nothing on her body shining to indicate she was using any of her psychic energy.
