Her smile turned into a grin. "Totally! I'm always up for a good battle. We all are!" She glanced over at Harmony. "Hey! You wanna do some battling?"
Harmony pondered this for a moment, before giving a pseudo thumbs-up with her wing.
"Awesome! There's a battlefield over there, I'll be waiting." With that, she walked over, Harmony flying behind her and doing aerial twirls. She waited on her side of the battlefield, excited to begin.

Neon grinned.
“Haha! Great!”
Neon jogged over to the battlefield.
Neon thought for a moment.
He then ran over to a nearby box, and fiddled around with it for a moment, than ran to his side of the battlefield.
“Alright, you ready?”
Neon thought for a moment.
“What battle format you wanna do? Singles or doubles?”

Talia pondered this for a moment, before snapping her fingers. "How about doubles? Each side uses four Pokemon, no substitutions, no healing items? That okay with you?"
The key stone in her necklace was still concealed. No one in the world - aside from her family - knew about her and Melody's Mega Evolution.

Neon smirked.
“Fine by me!”
Neon’s left hand was in his pocket, the one with the watch that holstered the key stone.
He wasn’t very quiet about his mega evolution, but he wasn’t very loud about it either, only about 10 people knew about it.
Neon took his left hand out of his pocket, but his keystone still was hidden in the watch.
“Let’s do this!”
He picked up two pokeballs, one quick ball and one great ball.
“Alright! Come on out!”
Neon threw the quick ball first, way up high, and out came a huge shadow, and it fell to the ground with a huge echoing thud and a dust cloud.
After the dust settled, a Gigalith was standing there.
The Gigalith was MASSIVE, standing at around 7 feet and 6 inches.
“Heh heh..”
Neon then threw the great ball, and out came Alakazam.
Gigalith looked ready to fight, and Alakazam closed it’s eyes, prepared.

"Harmony, you're up! Aria, time to shine!"
The Togekiss floated over to the field, and a Luxury Ball opened at Talia's side. Out came an elegant Primarina, presenting gracefully.
Talia approached the computer, and inputted the battle information. If she won, she'd have a glory point to her name.
"Both of you, Helping Hand!"
White orbs appeared over each Pokemon's head, floating to the other and absorbing into their bodies. They now glowed with a white aura. They waited for Neon to command, both ready for battle.

Neon considered his options.
Neon decided, then looked Gigalith in the eye.
“Gigalith, you’re up.”
Considering Gigalith has been with Neon ever since pretty much the start, they were able to communicate with each other without words by now.
Gigalith nodded, then stomped one foot on the ground and roared to the sky, causing a sandstorm, then stomped on the ground again, and many sharp stones emerged from the ground towards Harmony, and they were glowing, powered up thanks to sand force.(Stone Edge)
Meanwhile, Alakazam was preventing the sand from buffeting him by moving the sand particles away from him constantly with his psycokinetic abilities.(Magic Guard)
Alakazam then created two shadowy blobs in it’s hands, and threw them at Aria.(Shadow Ball)

Gar got smashed with the Payback, getting pushed backwards. He stopped himself from going to far though and he charged towards the Mudsdale. He had an idea. He moved quickly towards her, practically a blur and then went to hop on the Mudsdale's back. If he succeeded, he'll hold on to the Mudsdale's hair and ride her like a cowboy does in a rodeo, while also getting his fist ready to defend himself from the oncoming Talonflame. He sent forth a weak jolt of electricity towards his arm, letting it stay there while the main brunt of the ice formed at his fist as he got ready to either punch the Mudsdale or shoot the Thunder Wave at the bird like some video game character (Ice Punch and Thunder Wave).

Doom saw that the Mudsdale was heading towards him. He's just going to have to make it hard for her to see. He breathed out a swirling breath of fire, which then spiraled around him, with smoke billowing about, stinging the eyes of those that don't have a protective membrane over them and choking those that breathe it in (Fire Spin, Smog, and Smokescreen). He then used Double Team, making it seem like there were more of him within the made-up terrain he made.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Seeing the winded condition, Glacier sent forth Hail, spitting out a sphere that burst into a cloud and covered the arena with buffeting hail, which went faster due to the Gravity that is in effect. Glacier then breathed out an intense gusts of ice and wind towards Dino (Blizzard).
Umbra was getting buffeted by this Hail, but she didn't mind too much. She noticed the Dusknoir was gone and looked back at Dino to attack, only to notice that Dusknoir had peeked out from his shadow to then duck right back in. She rushed towards the shadow, her tail glowing with metallic energy as she did a front flip and aimed down at the shadow to deal quite a bit of damage to the Dusknoir if he doesn't move out of the way (Iron Tail).
In an instant Toph altered her attack, She continued to charge toward Doom, her hooves slamming into the earth harder with each step, Shockwaves radiated outward from her as she ran (earthquake). Rumble and earth shot upward from the earth, blindly hoping to hit the multiple Doom clones and the approaching Gar as they begun to Surround her.
“Uh uh uh none of that Shade!” Ajax yelled as Turbo cleared the fog with a single strong gust (Defog) before continuing with her attack on Gar, her beak opened and unleashed a plume of flames(Flame thrower). The immense heat designed to weaken Gar’s icy attacks as-well as clear the field of shadows in an effort to limit Gar’s mobility as she drew closer her claws shrouded in dark energy (Thief).
Talia said nothing. She simply made a series of complex hand gestures, ending in a twirl of her index finger.
Harmony deftly avoided each of the Stone Edges by flying high into the air. The tall stones began to retract into the ground, but the Jubilee Pokemon wasn't done yet. As the tips of each stone were sinking back into the field, Harmony summoned several glowing orbs (Ancient Power). Each one was sent down towards a stone, creating several bursts of multicolored sparkles.
Aria, meanwhile, was more than ready to counter the Shadow Ball. Summoning a pulse of water within her two flippers, she cast a powerful watery beam at the shadowy orb (Hydro Pump). The powerful cannon held the ball back, until Harmony sent an Air Slash towards it, destroying the Shadow Ball in an explosion of sparkling water driplets.
Aria then stood up, summoning a massive glowing bubble, larger than her (Sparkling Aria). She let out a powerful note, and the bubble exploded into glowing explosions around the Alakazam and Gigalith. Harmony had used Protect, in order to prevent herself from being hit by the watery bursts.
Gusts of freezing air whipped around the battlefield as Dino was battered by the whirling Blizzard. Roaring again, this time in pain and anger, the Haxorus raised his head to the sky and shot a ball of blazing light into the air. As the ball reached the peak of its flight, it broke into several Draco Meteors, which crashed down all around the battlefield with heightened force due to the enhanced Gravity, creating large explosions and craters where they landed. Edward flinched at the noises. I really hope they have measures in place to repair the battlefields - probably some ground-types or something.
The Umbreon's Iron Tail struck the ground in Dino's shadow - certainly where Morgan had been a few seconds ago. However, as using Iron Tail had connected the Umbreon's shadow with the Haxorus', if only for a moment, Morgan had narrowly escaped through that connection. Moving through shadows was easier than moving outside of them, but unfortunately it was beginning to get somewhat taxing for Morgan to keep hiding in this manner. From underneath the Umbreon, the Dusknoir surged upwards, attempting to strike with a large ball of energy - a Focus Blast - at point blank range.
Celeste sat in her private staging room in the arena after sending the text to Kari. She was sitting on the bed in there and threw herself backward to lie down with her legs dangling off the edge at the knees. She kicked off her shoes and scooted onto the bed entirely.
Her team was in high spirits after their victory, and the defeated members had already been revived and restored. Lucas had been eating copious amounts of food, and is now eating his third Poké Puff. Mega-evolving burns though energy insanely quickly, especially the demanding way the Spire Masters battled. Typically hunger is not felt while battling, but after turning back the Pokémon would be famished. Sylvia was on the bed along with Kayo talking to one another about the match, while Tempris and Sycorax were conversing with Lucas. Aegis was watching the replay of the match on the large flat screen in the room. Celeste’s phone vibrated as she received several more texts at once, most were congratulatory texts from veteran participants, and Battlemasters.
She read the text from Ajax, “Yea that sounds like him.” Celeste sat back up drawing the attention of her entire team for a moment before the resumed their conversations. “Let’s go get some dinner now, I’m sure your all starving!” her entire team cheered while Lucas smiled with a mouthful of Poké Puff. Half of her team had opted to go back into their Pokéballs with the exception of Sylvia, Kayo, and Lucas. As she exited the arena she was glad to see that the massive crowds had mostly disbanded leaving a few groups of trainers that were chatting and making plans. In the distance numerous distinct sounds of Pokémon battles echoed throughout the island.
Celeste was not bothered too much by people as she made her way into the city on the island. When she did get stopped she would answer the individual’s questions and excuse herself saying she had to meet a friend. As she walked the streets of the city the shops were bight and glittering in the night, almost all of them full or nearly full of customers. Continuing further down the street towards the town center and the secondary plaza which is another popular locations for trainers to meet up, but instead of battling, this plaza was known for its delicious food stands for both people and Pokémon. This was a place that Celeste frequently visited on the evenings. Smelling the food, the rest of Celeste’s team came out of their Pokéballs and looked around excitedly. “SO!” Celeste said loudly to get the attention of her team, “Tonight, we’re going to get whatever you guys want to eat, and however much you guys want to eat.” Celeste announced. Lucas’s eyes went as big as saucers as he began to slightly drool. Sylvia gently tapped the back of his head with one of her ribbons and he snapped out of it, nodded and looked around.
The next two hours, Celeste spent her time with her team, each of them taking a turn to lead the group around to whatever they wanted to eat, and getting whatever they wanted, the rest of the team could get anything that interested them as well.
Celeste ended up not spending as much money as she thought she would, a lot of the vendors recognized her and gave her and her Pokémon whatever they wanted on the house. Especially when it was Sylvia’s turn to lead the group. Regardless of the vendors and other spectators, Sylvia had always been a fan favorite on the island, making friends with just about anyone she meets.
The seven of them all decided to sit and relax at a nearby bench that had a great general view of the plaza and ate. As the night drew a little later, more Pokémon battles had started around the plaza mostly among new participants not knowing any better that a Spire Master and her team was watching them.
Neon nodded at the skillful moves.
“Alakazam.”
Alakazam nodded, then teleported in front of a Gigalith and a blue energy dome surrounded them(Protect), successfully shielding them from the damage.
“Change of plans!”
Neon looked Alakazam in the eye, then looked at Gigalith. Both nodded.
Alakazam called out to the sky, and the battlefield grew bright and hot, (Sunny day), successfully weakening all water type moves, and powering up some of Gigalith and Alakazam’s Fire moves, as well as powering up Gigalith’s beam moves, like solar beam and hyper beam.
(Lemme explain, it is said in some Pokédex entries that when it is sunny and hot, Gigalith can absorb the energy in the crystals on it’s body and use them to fire powerful beams, so, if Gigalith could already create beams, the beams would be powered up when sunny.)
“Alright Gigalith, you’re turn!”
Gigalith roared and a green energy sphere formed above it, then, thanks to Sunny day, immediately fired. (Solar Beam)
The beam was aimed at Aria.
After a few seconds of resting, it then stomped on the ground and roared, making the ground shudder and implode.(Earthquake)
Alakazam then teleported to Harmony, and looked it directly in the eye, and green energy passed between their eyes, disabling Harmony’s protect. (Disable)
Alakazam then held it’s hand out In front of it, and electric energy passed on to Harmony. (Thunder wave.)
It then teleported back to it’s side of the battlefield, and fired a beam of electric energy at Harmony. (Charge Beam)
Aria barely managed to dodge the Solar Beam, being grazed slightly by the nature energy. To avoid the Earthquake, she shot a Hydro Pump at the ground, propelling herself into the air due to the sheer force of the water. The shock waves of the quaking ground still affected her slightly, but the damage was greatly lessened.
Harmony didn't need to worry about the quake, despite the fact that she could no longer use Protect. Though she wasn't able to dodge the Shock Wave, she nullified the Thunder Wave by summoning Safeguard, causing the wave of paralysis to disperse.
Secretly, Harmony summoned Grass Knot while the ground was quaking. If successful, it would trap the opposing Pokemon by tying them down to the ground.
"Harmony, counter that with a Solar Beam of your own! Aria, Hyper Voice!"
Aria stood up once more, now on the ground, and let out one of the highest-pitched notes possible. Shock waves blasted through the arena, even causing the ground to quake slightly. Meanwhile, while the Rock and Psychic-Type opponents were hopefully disoriented, Harmony fired off a Solar Beam, also sped up by the sun.
Gigalith was slightly disoriented, but not enough so due to it being not very effective, and hunched down, and a blue dome encircled him, another protect.
Alakazam meanwhile, was disorientated, and damaged a little, from the hyper voice, and shook it’s head.
It then saw the huge beam of energy racing towards it, and it’s eyes widened slightly, the most surprise seen out of it in a while, and quickly teleported away, then used a safeguard for good measure, just in case the enemy had moves that could cause them trouble.
The blue dome came off Gigalith.
“Gigalith, that Aria is a problem, fix it.”
Gigalith nodded, then ran over to Aria, which, wasn’t very fast per se, but not DEVASTATINGLY slow, due to being trained hardly in it’s speed for situations like this.
One of it’s legs/fists grew black with dark energy, and it aimed for Aria’s throat. (Throat Chop)
The grass knot was useless against Alakazam because it was floating.
Gigalith was trapped for a moment, then repeatedly stomped at the vines and grass with it’s heavy feet, destroying it and successfully freeing itself. (Stomping tantrum)
The illusory clones disappear one by one as Earthquake reached them. As the fire and smoke died down, a pouncing Houndoom could be seen jumping towards the Mudsdale, his teeth cloaked in fire and dark energy (Crunch and Fire Fang) and his tail cloaked in a metallic energy just in case (Iron Tail). The fire dripped venom, the signature of a Houndoom's bite that left searing pain that would never go away.
Gar saw the Flamethrower coming towards him from the corner of his eye and he switched the ice to fire as he used his fist to block the brunt of the flames. He sent forth a Thunder Wave that had been building up on his arm out around the flames, which began to close in towards the Talonflame. He didn't need the shadows to win.
Over at the battle between Haxorus and Dusknoir versus Umbreon and Glaceon, Umbra was in trouble. She put himself in a situation that earned her a Focus Blast to the stomach. She flew up in the air, the hail starting to pelt her more and more. It was starting to tire her, especially when hit by such a powerful attack. She flipped around in the air though, determined not to collapse now. She blasted the ground where Dusknoir and Haxorus were at due to their close proximity to each other with a pulse of dark energy fueled by dark thoughts (Dark Pulse). As it collided with the ground, it blasted a crater and blew dust in the air. Although, a stray draconic meteor smacked Umbra back down on the ground, weakening her considerably. She got up and shook it off, but obviously was worse for wear.
Meanwhile, as Glacier got razed by draconic meteors, he smashed the ground with his body peaking at such a blue color and dark clouds formed above Dino, with sheets of ice and snow collapsing above him (Boosted Avalanche after getting hit).
Toph leapt into the air before landing to stop dead in her track, pivoting in place to swing her legs around and kick out at the incoming Doom, the rubble around her flying up at the approaching fire type (bulldoze and rockslide).
Turbo continued her assault, attempting to barrel out of the way at the last second, the thunder wave closely missing her orange body, though a lessened shock was sent through her body as she continued to fly headed toward Gar with increased fury. The flames of her initial attack ensuring the area was free of shadows for Gar to escape through
Doom knew that was going to happen, so he cancelled his biting attacks to then flip about to slam his Iron Tail on Toph's hooves. He wasn't taking into account the rocks though, which grazed and cut his body.
Gar giggled as he noticed the Talonflame was getting mad. He created illusory copies of himself, hiding in his own selves. These copies then expelled out a loud melodic note that was then held, creating a shockwave towards Turbo (Double Team and Round). None of the copies would hurt Turbo, as their attacks aren't real. Once Gar's actual attack hit, the copies would disappear.
Meanwhile, Doom heard the move being used, so he decided to chime in, increasing the power of both his and Gar's attack. A melodic note was held as he blasted it at Toph. (Boosted Round, effectively boosting Gar's Round).
Dino disappeared under the downpour of ice and snow. He stood up and shook it off, only to be struck by the explosion from Umbreon's Dark Pulse. The Haxorus was now breathing heavily and getting worn down, but Rayquaza be damned if he was going down just yet. He stomped into the ground, roaring and gathering his energy in a Dragon Dance.
Edward did some frantic recalculations and arrived at a conclusion. We can't keep fighting at type disadvantages. Dino is getting slammed pretty hard by that Glaceon, while Morgan... actually she seems to be doing fine, but the point still stands.
The Dark Pulse cratered the ground, generating a cloud of darkness and dust. However, Morgan emerged from the cloud floating inside an energy bubble from Protect. Touching down closer to the Umbreon, she prepared to resume her assault when Edward called out "Switch!" Nodding, the Dusknoir used Ally Switch to swap places with Dino.
Now that Morgan was facing down the Glaceon and Dino the Umbreon, Edward felt markedly more confident in their ability to win the battle. Dino's looking pretty beat up, but Morgan has only been hit once or twice. But then again, that hail is really annoying.
Aria allowed herself to be hit by the Dark-type move, wincing in pain, but recovered quickly. Not waiting for Talia to command, she took advantage of the close-contact move to lunge at Gigalith, cloaking herself in Fairy-type energy. (Play Rough)
Meanwhile, Harmony wasn't about to ignore the Alakazam. Raising both her wings, she sent a flurry of glowing blue energy slashes towards the spoon-wielding Pokemon, before suddenly catching them in a glittering pink vortex, surrounding Alakazam. The wind sent the slashes at Alakazam at alarming speeds, and from all directions. (Air Slash and Fairy Wind)
Gigalith was hit by the play rough, and was sent backwards, digging it’s feet into the ground.
But, Gigalith succeeded in temporarily disabling Aria’s sound moves.
“Great! Alright Gigalith, take advantage!”
Gigalith nodded and jumped up, and started to come back down, aiming for Aria. (A heavy slam, doing decent damage due to the weight difference if it were to land.)
Alakazam meanwhile, looked at the surrounding energy slashes, and closed it’s eyes, and sighed. (Calm mind)
Might as well increase it’s chances in battle if it was gonna get hit anyway.
It got hit by the slashes, and winced from the pain.
It then held out it’s hands, and beams of light shot out of them, and made a screen on Alakazam and Gigalith. (Light Screen)
Alakazam then got an idea.
It fired a charge beam a Aria, since it was occupied and most likely couldn’t do anything about it, adding to the damage Aria was currently about to receive if Gigalith’s attack were to land, if Alakazam’s own attack were to land, that is.
Umbra had landed when she was now facing against the Haxorus. She looked behind her shoulder to see that the Dusknoir was now facing off against Glacier. She then created a sphere with her mouth before the Hail dissipated, which was then shot forth towards the Haxorus, a misty trail being left behind as the cold surface crackled in the warm air (Weather Ball). She then shot forth a shadowy blob of energy (Shadow Ball) and emitted a powerful blast of Psychic energy that pushed the spheres faster towards Dino (Psychic).
Meanwhile, the hail dissipated and Glacier wasn't going to put his teammate into any more harm from the Hail, especially since Glacier needed the defensive support. He saw that his Haxorus foe had been switched for Dusknoir. Oh, well this could work, too. He created any icy sphere in his mouth (Ice Beam) before eating it. The transformation he received was the addition of icicle spikes running along his back and his fur becoming hardened. He then created a shadowy blob and shot it towards Morgan, which had a faint mist that trailed behind it, making the Shadow Ball a dual-typed attack.
Twin balls of light charged up at the tip of each of Dino's tusks, erupting into brilliant purple Dragon Pulses. Each one shot out, intercepting the Umbreon's projectiles, and exploded into yet another light show of colorful energy. Charging through the smoke and flashy lights, Haxorus lunged forward in another Dragon Rush, aiming to finally finish off this Umbreon once and for all, given that both his speed and offensive prowess were improved from the Dragon Dance.
Morgan cackled again, for it seemed like she alone had properly seen this coming - and why not? After all, she had been the one to use the move. In fact, she had already been charging a Shadow Ball of her own inside her stomach-mouth, and was ready to launch it. Seeing the Glaceon's transformation and the icy mist of his attack, Morgan quickly added a few wisps of ghostly flame (Will-O-Wisp) in orbit around her own Shadow Ball and propelled it towards the foe. Given that she was a ghost-type, Morgan's Shadow Ball was slightly larger than the Glaceon's, and the slight addition of fire seemed to nullify most of the ice-type parts of the attack as the two collided. Morgan smiled eerily as everything seemed to fall in place, and her energy began to sync up (Calm Mind).
@Merciless Medic
Umbra saw the Dragon Rush coming, so she quickly moved to the side, leaving a glowing orb to dance about and encircle Dino (Confuse Ray). She then let out this deafening screech towards Dino, the shockwave bellowing outwards to at least stun it. She then slapped the ground with her tail, throwing up mud and sand towards Dino's face (Sand Attack and Mud-Slap).
Meanwhile, Glacier was a little more than occupied at the moment. She turned her back on Morgan to let loose a barrage of icicles and then quickly moved from side to side, letting out multiples of these ice shards (boosted Ice Shard from swallowing the Ice Beam).
(@TheWanderer)
Robin made his way through the crowd as everyone attempted to leave the arena at once. It was rather tight, with everyone pressed against on another. Cherry had to climb onto his head, and it didn't help that Robin had a large backpack that everyone kept bumping into. But finally, Robin managed to make his way out of the building. Thank goodness, elbow room! But when the swordsman looked around... Akabane and her friend were nowhere to be seen. Robin looked back and forth, even turning in a full circle, but the green haired woman and the blue haired man just weren't there. They must have gotten separated in the crowd.
"Ah, well. That stinks. We might be eating alone again, huh Cherry?" Robin said, petting his Plusle behind her ears as the electric Pokemon dropped down onto Robin's shoulder. The backpacking swordsman made his way back towards the Plaza. Battles were erupting left and right, each of them looking so incredibly awesome that Robin wasn't sure what to watch. Robin stayed towards the edge of the plaza, pausing to look at his watch. Should he get something to eat soon...?
@Merciless Medic
Toph took the opportunity as Doom was preoccupied to kick out again with bulldoze, aiming for the fleshy hide of Doom’s neck. It was arguably a dirty move but Toph didn’t care taking a moment to bolster her defenses (Iron defense)
Despite Turbo’s best efforts to piercing through the thick barrier of sound, the scorching Pokémon was throw high into the air dazed slightly, her ears ringing from the sonic attack, unable to find her bearings she begun to fall her body only spurring to motion at the last minute to avoid slamming into the earth. As she regained her composure Turbo turned to face Ajax and let out a mighty cry,
“If you’re really sure about it Turbo then I think it’s time for your super move! Blazing Storm!” Ajax proclaimed finally breaking the intense silence he had maintained. Above him Turbo begun to climb higher and higher all while creating copies of herself,(Doubrl Team) the single bird quickly forming a colossal flock. One by one the various birds flipped in mid-air coating themselves in a cyan aura before launching themselves toward Gar and Doom (Aerial Ace and Acrobatics boosted by the use of a Flying Gem). As the Avery Onslaught continued the copies all begun to coat themselves in intense flames (flare blitz). As the first copies slammed into the battlefield the fiery energy exploded in an intense blast. Despite attempting to shield herself from the flames using the upturned earth around her Toph was quickly engulfed by the fiery blasts. The Draft Horse Pokemon letting out a painful cry, as the immense heat licked at her hide.
Doom had seen the hooves coming his way, but he wasn't able to move in time, getting his head kicked and he yelped and fell back. He shook his head a bit, the world spinning around him as he took a moment. He had gotten dizzy, but he shook his head and recollected his bearings, ending the dizziness. He looked up to see a barrage of Talonflames raining down upon them. He needed an out. But the only way out was to dig, and Toph likely knew Earthquake. He would just have to dig a shallow enough hole, so he can escape from it as soon as Toph used Earthquake. Or he could dig quickly and soften the earth under Toph, making it more likely that Earthquake can collapse the ground under her. That training with Ground-Types really did help.
He dug quickly underground, avoiding most of the razing barrage of flaming birds. The fire did lick his hide a bit, but he managed to get under Toph and dug out as much as he could of the earth underneath her. He could see the earth bending above him, so he quickly dug his way out, so he appeared behind Toph. (Defensive variant of Dig)
Meanwhile, Gar wasn't so lucky. He had gotten hit by flaming birds and was busy trying to get free from the flaming attacks surrounding him. That was when he needed to do something. Wiggling his finger, he called forth a move to be used. The unthinkable happened. A psychic wave emitted from Gar, manifesting into large purple and pink solid wave of pure psychic energy towards multiples of these birds. But the move quickly tired him. It wasn't a move that he could just easily use. He took a moment to calm himself down and looked to Shade.
She nodded in turn. She raised her Keystone and it began to glow. Gar's Mega Stone began to glow as well and three energy beams extended from both stones as they found each other and Gar went through his Mega Evolution. A screeching could be heard as he melted into the ground, a third eye appeared, spikes formed on his front feet, his legs formed into one and had spikes form on that, and his spikes grew larger. The white light dissipated as Mega Gengar appeared and he chuckled mischievously. His energy wasn't really regained but the Mega Energy did something to his adrenaline, making him excrete more, so he could keep fighting.
He looked to Toph and spat out a barrage of Shadow Balls as he strafed around her quickly, trying to get rid of her fast.
(@Frontier Master ; OOC: I kid you not, I had done a random number generator for Metronome and got Psystrike. XD I am sorry if this is not allowed though, and I'll change it up if it isn't. I checked, and the move can be called on by Metronome. I was hoping for a Water-Type move to be honest.)
Luna
~~~
Luna turned around but he couldn't find the blue haired man, he must have gone into the crowd. Luna shook his head, he probably made Robin to embarrassed for his own good.

"Hey Akabane, where's your friend?"
~~~
Akabane
~~~
"Wait, what do you mean?" Akabane looked around carefully and then started frantically moving into the crowd. "Really Luna?! You somehow repelled another person so quickly of me meeting them!" Akabane was fuming, but before she could give a good punch in the face to Luna, Merry had sent 2 steel wings that blocked her punch.

"Oh, Merry, I forgot you were here!" Merry looked at Akabane with a nod tiny nod. "Merry, erkennen." Merry flew up, she soared around in a few seconds and found her target right away. "Know the way Merry? Then let's go!" Akabane climbed onto Merry and flew to Robin.

She could see behind her that Luna had gotten onto Moon, his Garchomp, and was following her.

She spotted Robin and flew down. "Found you! Got lost in the crowd eh?"

@Captain Cardboard

Amara Kees had been to the ceremony, and couldn’t really describe how it felt. “Look at all those Trainers battling. Is there like some kinda social page so I can battle too?”, she reluctantly sighed. She remembered that one person... Ajax, right? He put out a text and he got Trainers. She would try that! So she wrote a post ready:
“I’m looking for battles! I’m by the fountain if you’re up for it. Just look for the girl with the Milotic!”
Almost right after the post was up, Pearl (who was actually pretty small for a Milotic) let herself out into the fountain. This way, Amara would be easily recognised.

Robin watched some of the battles, and was about to head to the hotel to get something to eat when a familiar voice called out to him. The swordsman looked up to see a familiar green-haired girl and Skarmony duo fly down.
"Yeah, I guess so. It's kinda strange, really. Wilderness and mountains are no problem for me, but I lose all my navigational skills when it comes to crowds. Kind of ironic, huh?" Robin said with a grin. He turned his attention to the Garchomp that was following behind, with the louder blue-haired man on it. Akabane's friend? Robin took a moment to watch the Garchomp, having mixed feelings about the Dragon-type. On one hand, the Mach Pokemon was freaking majestic. But on the other hand, it was pretty common. Well, that was a bit of a paradox. It was a rare Pokemon, to be sure. Yet a lot of powerful trainers Robin had met used them. So on this level of a competitive scene... it wasn't uncommon.

The whole thing was kind of funny, actually. What were once rather common Pokemon now were rather rare to find on this level of battling, and what Pokemon were once rare were now pretty common. What an upside-down place the world was now.
"Sorry about that." Robin said, smiling sheepishly and running a hand through his hair. Cherry looked quite happy to see Merry again, even though it had only been a few minutes, and waved to the Skarmony. "You wouldn't happen to know a good place to eat around here?"

"Well that's hilarious, I can easily get to a crowd, no sweat, just fly off my Garchomp at Mach speeds, or shoot everyone with water with my Feraligatr!"

Moon stared at the man, "Interesting guy if I do say so myself."

"Somewhere to eat? Well, if you didn't know, there's a super super fancy restaurant in the hotel!"

"Well if I do say, that is truly ironic, getting through mountains with no trouble but crowds are a problem. Well I do see how you could be lost in a crowd easily. All that shoving doesn't really exist in places like forests and mountains do they?" Akabane gave another classic grin.

Merry raised her wing as if she was waving as Cherry, because having wings didn't make it very easy to wave. Merry gave Cherry a nice smile and asked, "That blue haired guy look familiar? His name's Luna. That Garchomp you see is a girl, or Moon. You've probably seen a ton of Garchomp though, being in this place kinda attracts it. Wanna know something a little different? Moon's the fiercest gal you can find. Being a female Garchomp, while not being to hard to find, are honestly undesired by master trainers."

"A place to eat?" Before Akabane could actually answer the question, Luna had already gave them a good place to eat at. "A fancy fancy restaurant you say? Aren't you normally eating noodles or something? Well anyway, like Robin said, we should all maybe go and eat."

@Captain Cardboard

"Hey, don't you diss noodles! They're a very versatile food with many different recipes that use it as a base." Robin said to Akabane before giving Luna a thumbs up. "Anyway, the hotel comes for free with your room, right? If that's the case, then lead on."
Robin adjusted his backpack and sword before nodding at the pair and their large winged Pokemon. He began to walk with them towards the hotel, and after a moment Robin turned his attention to the other blue-haired man.
"You know, I don't think I ever got your name. I'm Robin." Robin said to Luna.

Cherry watched the Garchomp as Merry introduced both it and it's trainer. Her eyes seemed to sparkle as she looked Moon up and down.
"Wowwww, wow wow!" Cherry said, before smiling and waving at the large Dragon type. "Hiii! I'm Cherry! You're really pretty!"

The other blue-haired man gave Luna a thumbs up and Luna gave a thumbs up back. "Yeah, it comes for free, definitely, just follow me, you might not want to get lost into the few entrances this hotel has." Luna gave a grin and started walking, Moon right behind him. Just before they could even make it 10 feet, the blue-haired man had asked Luna for his name. "Robin? Like the bird? Well that's cool. I'm Luna, I know weird name, especially for a boy, but I'm just a Battlemaster eh? I can't be the weirdest of the bunch can I?"

Moon could hear tiny squeak sounds that she could barely hear, and looked down to see a Plusle with Merry. The Plusle had just called Moon pretty! "Pretty! Well I can say that to you too, you're adorable at the same time! I remember my Gible stages, always fun being a little one. And that name fits you perfectly, Cherry. Well, I'm Moon!" Moon was the little electric type as adorable, wasn't it a cheering Pokémon though? How would it make it on a team, especially at the Battle Spire. "Well, you do remind heavily of someone I know, wait, my trainer, yeah! Him! That blue-haired guy. His name's Luna, but I'm pretty sure Merry's told you about him already."

Akabane gave a pout. Really. Someone that was obsessed with noodles just like Luna. This really can't be happening can it. Akabane petted Merry and started to walk off with them, until Robin had stopped them to ask for Luna's name. Wasn't this gonna take a while. "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you he was a Battlemaster here! That just slipped off my mind, he never changes except in a Battle always interesting too see him fight. Believe it or not."

Merry looked at her good friend Moon. "True, I've told Cherry already about Luna, think Cherry was suprised when she saw Luna, couldn't believe she was like someone who was so overly optimistic. But what did you really expect? Cherry was a cheering Pokémon."

@Captain Cardboard

"Hey! I'm right here, you know. And that's not why I was surprised." Cherry said, crossing her arms and making a pouting face.
"That human just seems really childish. And I'm very much not childish! I'm super not childish! Big bro Q says so!" Cherry said in a very childish tone. Realizing what she said might be seen as a little insulting to Moon's trainer, Cherry's ears drooped as a look of sheepishness came across her face. "Sorry..."

When Luna asked if he wasn't the strangest, Robin just shrugged.
"I don't know, I haven't really met a Battlemaster before." Robin said. He couldn't stop the grin from spreading across his face. A Battlemaster, huh? Exciting. But Robin had to play it cool. It would be kinda rude to just challenge him right off the bat. He'd wait until later.
"I don't doubt it. I have a feeling that a lot of people around here are interesting to battle." Robin said to Akabane. The three continued walking, and it didn't take long for the trio to make it to the hotel.
"So how long have you two known each other?" Robin asked Akabane and Luna.

A brief alarm sounded “Shade has violated the rules of battle, through the use of a mega-evolution despite this battles ruling of only using mutual mega-evolution. This battle will not be considered toward either parties grand total. This battle will cease shortly trainers please return your Pokémon”
Without missing a beat Ajax yelled “Overrule termination, continue with the battle regardless of effect upon grand total”

Toph noticed the earth bending beneath her and launched herself high into the air, causing the earth below to crumble and the barrage of shadow balls.
“I guess you’re ready for your time to shine Toph! Terrorizing Terrian Tremor!” The Ground type flipped herself in mid-air and begun to plummet toward the earth (Heavy slam, boosted by the extra height). Slamming into the battlefield with such force that shockwaves and rubble were sent flying in all directions as the entire battlefield erupted upward in a series of sharp stones and huge boulders (Earthquake and Rockslide, both using the impact tremors for extra power). The entire battlefield shaking violently as the earth continued oscillating, spikes and boulders slamming against eachother in an seemingly unending onslaught

"No, it's really ok, he is acknowledged himself that he's way too childish for his age. And, I'm sorry to sound a bit rude, but who exactly would be 'Big Bro Q'? Oh and sorry, sometimes Merry tells people, then doesn't, same goes for Pokémon, yeah she's just odd at times, great fighter though." Moon said to Cherry, she didn't want Cherry to get a bad idea of herself, she needed enough energy to actually fight in the Spire.

"Well Battlemasters aren't exactly very common." He could see Robin's tiny grin. Exciting, ain't it? "They most likely are, I'm pretty sure there was this one year I saw a brute fight with a bunch of fairy Pokémon, and actually won. It was hilarious.' They'd finished their walk to the hotel and Robin had just asked Luna and Akabane a question. "How long? Well I guess since we were maybe like, 4? Or 3. Childhood friends basically."

"Well, you didn't have to be so detailed about me. But, if it helps, sorry if I offended you when I called you childish, especially compared to Luna, he's probably beat by a bit in that part." Merry didn't want to be to rude, she did just get to the Spire, and didn't need to offend anyone, especially someone Akabane was acquainted with.

"Luna, I don't know how you do it, but you respond way too fast. It's just strange to say the least. I mean, 1 second after he finished his last word you had spurted like 5 words already." Akabane gave a tiny giggle though. She really did love making fun of Luna. "Well Luna's somewhat correct. We've known each other since 3, he's a tad bit older than me, just a few months, we're childhood friends, like he said."

@Captain Cardboard

"Oh, it's okay! And that's not rude at all! Big Bro Q is soo cool and tough! He's, like, my best friend and really really strong! You'll probably get to meet him later!" Cherry exclaimed, perking up almost immediately. She looked between Merry and Moon. "I don't doubt that Big Sis Merry is strong. Both of you look really, really tough! I hope I can look as tough as you guys do one day!"

"Well I'm not surprised. Fairy types are wayyy tougher than they look, and a lot of their moves are really cool." Robin said, walking into the hotel restaurant before suddenly stopping. He was not expecting what he saw. Usually places he went had at the very least a height restriction on the Pokemon people could have out of their Pokeballs. But not here! People sat around tables with every single one of their Pokemon out, Pokemon of all shapes and sizes sitting together, eating, and having a good time. Another smile spread across Robin's face.
"This place is really hopping, huh?" Robin said to Akabane and Luna as they waited to be seated. "So Luna, how long have you been a Battlemaster?"

Shade heard the robotic referee and was thankful Ajax overridden the ruling. Ajax was tough, and she wanted to show what she was made of, despite being at a disadvantage. Ajax was one of the toughest Spire Masters. She knew that Gar was starting to tire out, as he needed to Mega Evolve to rejuvenate his energy a little. Doom seemed to be getting tired, as well as a little frustrated since none of his attacks were landing. She watched on as some of the rocks scratched them up a little bit, but they weren't going to go down from this.

Time to get technical.

"Smoke and Mirrors! Use the rocks to your advantage!"

Doom hopped on a rock that was behind him and breathed out a combination of Fire Spin and Smokescreen while Gar emitted Haze and Smog, igniting the rocks and ground and the smoke covered practically everything. The smoke was shielded by the rocks, so Turbo wouldn't be able to get rid of the smoke very easily, allowing time for Doom and Gar to hide. The shadows were cast about, which almost made it impossible to find Gar. Doom hopped from rock to rock, using his ears to hear the whistling of flying rocks and other rock collisions to stay relatively safe. He actually managed to jump around to Toph again, finding himself above her. He then used Fire Spin, trying to trap her within a ring of fire.

Meanwhile, Gar was trying to find Turbo. He figured that Turbo would be able to dodge most of these attacks, so he decided to bait him. He created many screens from the light given and thrown them around the field (Light Screen) as he jumped from shadow to shadow. He then made them reflective enough to act like mirrors, causing weird doubles to appear of the rocks, Doom, and Gar. Gar then used Double Team, decreasing any chance of attackers hurting him as multiples of him could be seen on many rocks and the ground. They all began to move, avoiding the rock collisions as Gar went on the offensive and found Toph. He created many spheres of green, grassy energy and hurled them at Toph with great speeds, hoping to catch the horse Pokemon off guard (Energy Ball).

Due to the usage of moves, Gar was panting and was starting to get a little too reckless as he lost a bit of his precision. He may not be able to withstand anymore of these constant attacks.

"Well that's just excellent, right Merry? I'm pretty sure I can say the same for you! You never know what abilities a Pokémon or trainer has up their sleeves." Moon was a little more optimistic because of the compliment. "You don't need to look tough to be tough, y'know? In fact, if you can trick someone with appearance, it can get you the upper hand."

"Yeah, I honestly wouldn't be too surprised anymore, they can very well beat dragon types, poor Moon can't do anything against them, thank god Gil is sturdy enough to at least endure 1 hit from them and destroy them, especially with his lancers." Luna let out all his Pokémon in the hotel to give them some more space instead of his encased pockets. "Be at the top floor in approximately 8 minutes, okay guys?" Luna let them all do their thing as they went around, enjoying there selves. "Yeah, truly hopping, optimistic, even for a serious battle place like this." When Robin asked how long Luna had been a Battlemaster, Luna paused for just a second. "I guess 2 years now? I don't pay attention much to my time being here, I just enjoy it."

"Truly, thank you Cherry, like Moon said, looks can be deceiving in a good way, especially in battles." Merry gave a grin and looked around. It was quite crowded for such a place.

"Oh, your letting them out Luna? I guess I should release mine too, let them have fun." Akabane dropped off her Pokéballs onto the ground and let them go around. "Back in 10 minutes, just like your friends, ok?"

With a challenging roar, Dino let out a blast of sound and darkness (Snarl) that enveloped the weaker attacks and mitigated their effects to some degree. However, he staggered back as the Confuse Ray took effect, making him dizzy. Barely fighting through the confusion, Dino lunged forward, furious that this small Pokemon would not simply faint already (Outrage).

Edward was trusting his oldest friend to handle the Umbreon while he focused his attention on Morgan's battle with the Glaceon. She had managed to swat aside several icicles that had flown at her, but had been struck by a number regardless. "Don't just let her hit you!" shouted out Edward, in an attempt to urge on the Dusknoir - who at this point merely seemed to be enjoying being a nuisance. Dark wisps of energy arose from where the icicles had struck, manifesting into spikes of negative energy (Payback) which stabbed towards the Glaceon in all directions. Morgan had begun to fight in earnest.

Umbra was getting tired, but her defenses kept her from fainting. Regardless, the hail had really put a damper on her stamina. But she wasn't about to give up. Seeing the Haxorus run at her again, her tail became metallic and she attempted to swipe at his feet with Iron Tail, trying to trip him.

Glacier was having more issues. As he flipped about, trying to dodge Payback, a few of these dark spikes hit him, knocking him back. He wasn't about to lose, but he wasn't feeling all that well. He then began glowing in icy blue energy and smashed the ground with his forefeet, causing sheets of ice to manifest above Morgan (Avalanche, doubled from being hit).
