I don't really know what you're planning to do or how to do it. Surely there can be a way to it without taking away our character reactions?

I have no intentions of taking away your reactions.
It was just going to be an understanding that those reactions will ultimately fail as I am planning a very large post to set things up. You can even find a way to stop the initial aspect and write in your own way what happened ever just understand they are very well prepared.
I would never railroad players. Thus why I am asking permission first. If you are uncomfortable with it I will choose a different method. If you would like I can make he post and if you don't like he first paragraph or two I can delete it.

Yay, more character relations for Floyd.
In my characters bio, he challenged the Unova champion and lost by a hairs width. They were both down to their last Pokemon and Floyds pokemons attack missed, causing him to lose.
If your insistent on taking the Unova title you can either have it so that my character was the one who faced you, or that you beat the Unova champ after Floyd challenged the champion.
