E-123 Omega
The attack on Bowser wasn’t very effective, Both Kirby and Omega quickly finding out that the King of the Koopas was impressively resilient, even on places his shell didn’t cover. In order to counter the puffball, Bowser summoned a few shadow duplicates of the Kirb, aiming to spike them and Kirby himself at Omega.

Assuming the pink demon would dodge, E-123 configured one of his arms to a rotary canon, shooting down the duplicates, causing them to explode, rocking the surrounding area with three resounding BOOMS. However, Bowser wasn’t finished. He leapt up into the air and crashed into the adjacent street, causing a massive shockwave that rocked even Omega’s sturdy body. His legs were still slightly damaged and these shockwaves weren’t exactly going easy on them, so the war machine had to hover in the air using his jet boosters. As Bowser fired fireballs down upon him, E-123 acted accordingly, thinking fast.

To avoid the first 2, he blasted forward using his jets, but the Koopa King adjusted his aim, so the machine had to come up with a different solution. Omega jabbed a massive hand into the side of a building and ripped out a large piece of concrete, holding it in front of him. One fireball hit the piece of debris, doing far more damage to it than the machine had anticipated, almost destroying it. It seemed this wouldn’t function as a very effective shield, so he threw it at the 4th fireball, intercepting it. To deal with the last 3, Omega quickly turned to the side and crashed into a building, the building functioning as shelter from the final fireballs.

E-123 quickly calculated his next move. The creature’s shell had noticeable and significant cracks running along it, perhaps that was a weak point. Omega reconfigured one arm into a missile launcher and the other into a long barreled, sniper-esque weapon. He then blasted out of the building, quickly taking aim at Bowser before firing a powerful laser shot from the long-barreled weapon, aiming to both do damage and knock the airborne Koopa of-course and into several missiles that Omega fired directly afterwards!

Zed
Masaru had begun charging his greatest attack by the time Zed was coming back around to attack again, summoning three waves of Dea Lacrimae over each fighter. Before any of the royal blades could reach Masaru himself, Sonic ran over to the nearest building, leaping off the side with incredible speed, curling into a ball to slam into the Dea Lacrimae, sending them flying into the ones sent at Leon, countering Zed's attack completely.

By the time the Golden Trillion realized what the martial artist was doing, it was too late. Masaru called out his move, leaping high into the air, missing Zed both on the way up and the way down---but striking mid-jump was not the man's intention. His fist smashed into the concrete, causing a large crater to appear, sending chunks of concrete flying high into the air, a dozen feet above Zed. And they would crush him if he didn't act quickly.

And so Zed flew to his side, wing glowing brightly as he soared through the air, some of the large chunks crashing down behind him and into the ground below. Another concrete boulder approached to intercept his flight path, forcing Zed to barrel roll out of the way---but another chunk came down quickly, threatening to crush him then and there, its trajectory too inconvenient for the Adept to avoid. But he couldn't let that happen.

"Illuminate the world, Golden Trillion!!" He clamored, his overflowing Septima practically enveloping his body, casting a blinding golden light. "Pulverize those who defy my rule!"

Zed barreled into the chunk of concrete, breaking through the outer layer, the light disappearing for a moment---when the entire thing exploded, sending smaller chunks of inexplicably flaming concrete everywhere, threatening to cause damage to those below. The cloud of orange-red dust in the sky cleared, showing Zed had survived the move, some of his outfit more charred than before, but he seemed otherwise fine. His Golden Trillion, despite having been weakened coming into this competition, was still top-notch in terms of power. And the best defense was a good offense.

The Adept's wing extended downwards, casting his 'Wings of Death' attack, but the burning birds did not appear from behind him. Instead, they manifested all around the trio, forming a large dome of vermillion birds around them, the small gaps in their formation not quite large enough for any of the three (except perhaps a curled-up Sonic) to squeeze through without taking damage. It was clear Zed was demanding more and more from his Septima.

This kind of battle was rare. One that placed him on the backfoot, pushing his abilities to new heights. It was exhilarating.

LEON

Zed repelled with an attack, summoning even more of the birds---most of which were dispatched by Masaru going sicko mode. Leon had swapped out Matilda for the Striker, shotgun shells pumped into the few remaining birds to deplete them. Another attack was manifested, one that Sonic dealt with, and then Zed was forced to deal with Masaru's attack. Seeing an opportunity, Leon took a few steps back---then disappeared into the ruins. When the flaming birds appeared to surround him, there was no Leon to surround.

He was repositioning. Zed was exhausting himself with attack after attack, but the group was capable of covering one another in a way that kept Zed from making any progress. Still, he was impressively threatening. Only moments later, Leon could be found inside of one of the still-standing buildings of the taller variety, five floors off the ground, his Striker now replaced with his rifle. On the ground, he took aim, peering through the scope with one eye while using the other to keep an eye on his surroundings, a rare multitasking ability not many possessed. "Come on..." Leon whispered under his breath as he took aim at Zed. These bullets were bigger, faster, and stronger than anything Leon had previously used. Zed needed to be removed from the fight NOW, before Bowser was given the chance to kill the kids and Omega.

Steadying himself, Leon kept careful aim as the others continued to fight, before he gripped the trigger, and his bullet sailed through the air, timing the moment perfectly. The armor-piercing round was headed straight for the back of Zed's skull, just between the surge of his wings in a small opening, angled to strike. Leon kept his breath held, anticipating if his hit would land.

Zed
Zed's attack caused havoc down below, but Leon's stealth was something he hadn't accounted for. The DSO agent's rifle fired, the gunshot booming throughout the nearby area, bullet soaring towards Zed's skull---
FWOOSH!

The bullet sailed right through Zed, but the man was not dead. His body glowed with a golden light, many feathers surrounding him, his Vibratio activating. A technique capable of nullifying nearly any incoming attack, leaving Zed unharmed, but it came at a cost.

And that cost was his wing.

Almost immediately, Zed began to fall, using his Solis Rotem midair to gain just a bit of vertical and horizontal distance, moving him closer towards a nearby building, summoning Eclipse Solaire to stab into its side, the blade of brilliant light greatly slowing his descent, allowing him to stop near one the first story's broken windows, which he proceeded to climb into, taking momentary refuge. In this realm, he didn't seem to be able to replenish his feathers like he would back home, meaning that he'd be forced to land a tagged Lux Assault to get it back. Masaru would be a good target for it, seeing as the others were too nimble to tag reliably. Peeking out the window for a moment, Zed looked upward at where Leon presumably was, quickly tucking back into safety.

For some regular humans (plus a hedgehog), they were pretty damn good at this.

With the Burning Man now busy taking the fight to the Agent and the Warrior, Pyro repositioned himself step aside the incoming feathers, pulling out his Degreaser in the process. And as the feathers were just about to soar past him, he had pulled down the second trigger, blasting the feathers Zed's way, potentially even causing them to tag himself if they managed to hit - after all, most of the things Pyro reflected ended up being on his team's side, even pill grenades and rockets. There was also the chance a stray feather could hit that hedgehog. After all, it was pretty unclear whether or not he was on their side. But everything comes with a risk, right?

With his Degreaser now held out in front of him, the Pyro took up a steady pace to run closer towards the scene of battle, to try and defend the Agent and the Martial Artists from the flying half-unicorn, half-candle thing that was still at large. He couldn't just let his team die after all, and fighting fire was his specialty!

Eitri

Another figure stepped out from behind the corner, an artificial humanoid with a sword on its back. It seemed just as surprised as Eitri. Green energy glowed around Eitri's hands as winds whipped around her and Belowski. The pair floated a little higher as Eitri readied herself for battle. But the robot quickly put up its hands and stated that it was not here to hurt them.

"Really?" Eitri asked, shifted slightly. "I find that difficult to believe."
The small duck figure approached, seeming to offer Eitri a small rock. A peace offering? A peace offering that the duck creature quickly threw in its mouth. Suddenly, the rock was shot out of the Pokemon's mouth by a high-pressure stream of water! Eitri threw up her magical shields, but they only succeeded in barely slowing the rock. The chunk of rubble slammed into Eitri's stomach, knocking the girl out of the air and back a few feet.

Eitri gasped for breath, scowling and looking back to Psyduck and Jack. She scowled.
"I should have known." Eitri said. Gesturing towards the pair, blades of wind flew towards Jack and Psyduck!

Takahara Masaru

After he slammed his fist into the earth, Masaru panted a fair amount. He heard Zed's chant, and how the Adept managed to evade it - He nearly cursed himself under his breath. The force of the blow forced him to focus once again as he himself had thrown himself off during his attack. By the time he was done focusing, which took 5 seconds, Zed had already started his next attack and Leon had shot his wing down, forcing the man into a nearby building. Masaru scowled, annoyed he was trying to get away while the martial artist did nothing.

He focused himself. Those birds were in the way, he knew he couldn't squeeze past - Not with his bulk. So, he looked to the first flaming, and grabbed it. it hurt, the burning...but!
"Mano Toss!" He threw the bird, hard! His aim was to collide with some of the other birds, making enough space, not for him mind you, but for the hedgehog to slip through easily and hopefully have enough speed to reach Zed before he could react - Sonic seemed to much thinner, after all. "Now, go!" He yelled to Sonic.

With its new allies, the little butterfly pokemon kept rather quiet as it sat on the large, bipedal creature's shoulder as the group seemed to be heading to the city. He could already feel the familiar vibrations of fighting dancing along the winds with his antennae as they got closer - undoubtedly, the rest of the participants were likely to be here. And that they were, as the three were now faced off with more strangers. Psyduck got things started which, although unexpected, was welcomed by Ribombee nonetheless.

Of course, just blasting a stream of water at a stranger wouldn't have gone without retaliation and the strange-looking girl proceeded to.. throw wind blades at them. A weird move, for sure, but.. then again, there were stranger. So, Ribombee did what it did best - protect its allies while they were still useful. Standing up and quickly zipping ahead, his eyes and body were now glowing with a light-pink energy as it used Psychic to send the blades right on back where they came from and give his allies a chance at retalation.

LEON

It hit!

Or rather, it should have.

Leon was faced with momentary confusion as he pulled back from the rifle, frowning out at the target, whose wing disappeared, and he dropped out of the sky. Perhaps the shot had done that? It wasn't the intended result, but it was an agreeable outcome. Grounding Zed had been the primary goal, after all, and now that he was kept out of the sky, the DSO Agent holstered his rifle as he darted back down the way he came, catching glimpses of Zed slinking to cover---like that'd do him any good. It was now or never.

However, Leon was given a pretty decent view around other parts of the city here, allowing him to glimpse Omega and Bowser still going at it, and---

"Wait," the man muttered under his breath, stopping as he watched Eitri engage individuals he hadn't seen before. Aside from the yellow duck, the one that had attacked him while he fought Omega. It was aggressive, and it seemed to have made friends, one of which being a... gnat, or something. And the third was a man in armor, or the likes.

"Shit... damnit, just hold on Masaru," Leon growled to himself, willing Masaru to continue to survive as the agent now addressed the new situation, darting through the ruins to reach Eitri, and when he did, it was in the nick of time (of course, she probably would have countered or dodged, but Leon acted first), he tackled into Eitri as gently as a tackle could be done, pulling her into the cover of a large pile of concrete ruble, the reversed attack of hers soaring past.

"So much for staying out of trouble, huh?" Leon huffed at Eitri, his tone humored despite their circumstances. "Where's Belowski? Is he alright?" He procured the Striker, getting ready for the opposing group, and the duck, to retaliate to Leon's interference.

Psyduck
Eitri could slow- not stop- the rock, which thud into her center. Though, Psyduck's confidence was shattered when the got back up and fired off a powerful wind spell! Luckily it was stopped- enveloped by a magenta energy that began to reverse it back upon the girl. Turns out The Duck was more powerful than he thought! As Ribombee worked his mental magic, Psyduck's eyes flashed white to Disable the future use of Rexcalibur.

Then, he showed up. Leon tackled the girl out of the way to prevent her from taking a dose of her own medicine, furthering his hatred of the ex-cop. The Duck grimaced and glared at the human as he procured his shotgun, a weapon that was familiar to Psyduck from the first time they fought.

Water swelled beneath the Pokémon. It swirled and rose for a moment, before surging forwards in a dozen-foot wide, rough wave. Psyduck didn't go with it, staying behind. Once the wave reached Leon and the others, Psyduck had already stuffed a rock in his mouth, prepared to launch it via Hydro Pump at the man the moment he made himself visible, as the wave was only a tool to disorient the cop. Something Leon gained, though, was the full attention of The Duck.

Bowser
For the first arcing leap of his attack, he still had to deal with Kirby. The tiny creature's draconic buff proved useful as his increased aerial movement brought him out of harm's way, breathing fire as he left. Bowser raised his arm to block it, but curiously, the magenta heat rippled down his arm and into his torso. Then, Kirby decided to go melee, something King Koopa could get behind. His raised arm's fist clenched, and he met the draconic rush with a much more powerful haymaker.

Then he continued with the aforementioned shockwaves and fireballs, as another tiny pest fluttered around him. Happy Lover had a plan in mind, but found it rather difficult to execute. Bowser's leaps were fast, and he was falling fast, too. However, he was eventually able to get a clear shot at Bowser's eyes... but that required it to get directly within the monster's line of sight. The testundine titan caught the Gushy Burst in his hand and crushed it, the energy traveling painfully through his arm and into the crystal that sat in his gut. As Omega was on the defensive, he responded with a quick fireball, not aimed at the main body, but the wing of the Happy Lover to cripple it.

Omega flew through a building, and Bowser leapt over it to follow. What he did not expect blasted into his center- a laser. It blasted him back, forcing him to skid down the road. His eyes flashed a bright red. The king roared, producing a powerful shockwave that exploded the incoming missiles. Then, the terrapin glared. He glared with evil eyes at Omega for a moment. Blood dripped from where the laser struck, breaking into the soft flesh exposed earlier by Nikolai. However, the torso also was glowing.

Then, action. Bowser burst forward, closing the distance in a couple seconds. But as he got close, he blasted fire on the ground, the swath of flame exploding outwards towards Omega and, if he had joined them, Kirby. Bowser launched into the air, leaving behind a molten crater, and summoned a huge metal boulder covered in spikes and sizzling with heat. He pitched the boulder down at Omega just as the robot got done dealing with the blast of fire, and if he managed to dodge it, another deadly shockwave would emit from the boulder as it hit the ground!

Happy Lover

Bowser just wouldn't sit still! The pink pixie couldn't get a clear shot...until Bowser decided to take the choice out of its hands. When it flew up high to fire on Bowser's eyes from above, it was consequently blocked, as it took a retaliatory fireball to the wing.

"Eeeeeeep!"

It cried, spinning out as it spiraled down to the ground, the impact being too much for the creature as it shattered apart.

Belowski

Huh? New people?

And new people be attacking. Guess they weren't much for friendly chit chat. That's kinda a bummer. Wait...if my math is correct...that's like...everyone else. Wow. And nearly all of them wanna kill everyone. That's not chill.

"Maaan...and here I was hoping we'd just vibe while everyone else is fightin'. Still though, was a nice thought." Belowski sighed, yawning soon after.

That's when his Mokey Mokey suddenly became enraged, puffing up to a big red angry pillow. Mokey Mokey Smackdown had activated! Must have been because Happy Lover was destroyed.

"Well yellow dude, at least you don't gotta worry about it. Just relaaaaax and get cozy. It'll be fine."

"MOKEY MOKEY MOKEY!!!!"

The angry Mokey fluttered it's wings angrily, intense vibrations wracking toward Psyduck, and consequently his friend - all 3000 ATK worth!

LEON

Before Eitri could reply, and before Leon could notice the nearby Belowski, the yellow duck grew impatient, launching a wave of water out of seemingly nothing. Taken aback, the agent frowned. Eitri would be fine against that, she could fly, or at least hover, he'd seen her do it before. The agent, however, could not. That was when Leon was suddenly struck with an idea. What if he could somehow get this aggressive little thing to throw attacks Zed's way? Fire faltered against water, making the duck perfect for the job. It seemingly had a vendetta for Leon specifically, but that wasn't an issue, he could still manipulate water attacks to go Zed's way.

First was the wave, of course. Leon leaped to the wall that was nearby, before he kicked off of it, the wave passing beneath, his gaze falling upon the duck, which was glaring at him with what he could only deem as "hatred". Seconds before it launched its next attack, Leon determined what it was doing. It was moving the same way it had before it fired at Eitri, the event that had made Leon rush over in the first place. It was about to fire from its mouth. When it did, the DSO Agent was prepared. It was using the rock method it had against Eitri, the black dot at the head of the blast of water confirming as much, and when it reached Leon, he was already swinging a foot.

The back of his heel slugged into the side of the rock at such an angle to send it hurtling rapidly at the flying bug (Ribombee), while the water caught Leon's leg. He was too far outside of it for it to pick him up, and instead, it spun the agent through the air. He landed on his feet, skidding to a spinning halt, coming to a stop facing the opposing trio, shotgun aimed at them. However, he held fire, not wanting to damage the duck while it was still useful. Belowski revealed himself in the same moment, one of his living pillows now angry and red, and sending a wave of something at Psyduck and Ribombee. "Ah, so that's where he is," Leon muttered to himself with a glance at Belowski.

Kirby
Though Kirby intended to take advantage of Happy Lover's distraction, but the monster failed to take keep up with Bowser, leaving Kirby to dive at him alone, only to be met by Bowser's fist. The punch sent Kirby flying back, though the flames surrounding him burst, likely leaving residual burning on Bowser's fist for a bit.
Meanwhile Kirby was sent careening back to earth, bouncing once before slamming into a metal object. Kirby wobbled as he stood, dizzy, before snapping out of it as Omega flew past him, Bowser hot on his...tail?
Rear. Let's go with rear.
The star warrior's flames flared, about to follow suit, before he realized just what he crashed into.
Soon, another hole was made into the building as a car burst through, seemingly without a driver. Well, not that you could see one considering it was half eaten by Kirby. Car Mouth Kirby surveyed the area, seeing Bowser throw a massive ball of doom at Omega. Ignoring the sense of Deja Vu, Karby's engine roared as he drove and then jumped full speed into the attack!

Jack
Both the Ghostrunner and the Architect were understandably shocked when their allies chose to not just attack the humans, but also do so via elemental and psychic abilities. These things had science-defying powers.

"I may have to take back my earlier statements about the duck and the fly."

Jack let out a grunt as conflict ensued, attacks flying back and forth, each side avoiding the other's moves. One that stood out to Jack was the living pillow that was now red, displaying anger as the cyborg detected a strange surge of power coming from it. Its aim was to charge at the trio, energy swirling around itself, and thanks to Jack's enhancements and acceleration module, he was able to act right when the Mokey Mokey started moving. In a split second, the Ghostrunner dashed towards Psyduck and Ribombee, picking them up as he moved to get everyone out of the monster's way, letting the two Pokémon go a few feet to the side just as quickly as he had grabbed them.

With that done, Jack stepped in front of his two partners, drawing his blade, entering a defensive stance. His head turned towards Leon, the last one to arrive on the scene, who had drawn a shotgun, aimed right at the trio. He simply shook his head, hoping to call off the fight before anyone ended up dead.

"Your allies have the right idea. Why do you still hesitate?" The Architect questioned Jack.

Eitri

Somehow, Eitri's Rexcalibur attack was caught... and then launched back at her?! The sage noticed it too late, a small bug-like creature on the shoulder of the metal man. The originator of the strange psychic attack. The blades of wind rushed back towards her... when something suddenly tackled her out of the way. The agent, Leon Kennedy. He made a joke, which Eitri only grumbled at, before the duck creature continued its assault. A massive wave of water rushed towards the group. Eitri flew up into the air over the wave, being sure to take Belowski with her to avoid the flood.

Where was the water coming from? Surely the duck creature didn't have the capacity to store such volumes of water within itself. Perhaps it was a magical creature... Either way, it's first attack would have killed her had she not been on guard. Belowski commanded his Mokey Mokey to attack, but the metal man picked up the duck and bug, and with great speed managed to evade the attack! Eitri landed on the third floor of a nearby building, and launched another Rexcalibur spell attack at Psyduck. Or at least, she tried to. When she gestured to the duck creature, Eitri felt the magical energies build up... and then nothing. Confused, Eitri looked at her hand and tried again. Nothing. That strange thing the duck creature had done before his flood attack! Somehow, it was preventing her from using Rexcalibur!

With a scowl, Eitri gestured towards the duck. Magical energies swirled around, and another blade of wind launched itself towards Psyduck. It was smaller than her Rexcalibur spell, a less powerful wind spell known as Elwind.

With a rock now being kicked its way, the little Fly had no option but to retaliate - or so he thought, as his ally suddenly grabbed him and yoinked him away, lucky for the Butterfly. And because he had been saved from being shot out of the air by a rock or vibrated to death, the Bug Type decided to make things easier on his allies to win the fight.

And to do so, he had decided to fly forward a bit and put on the Charm for his opponents, making a cute face in order to make the Mokey (and anyone else of them looking at it) more complacement and harshly reduce their direct attack power temporarily as to momentarily lessen the strength of future attacks aimed at him and his (temporary) allies!

"Well, that's cool too." He commented on them dodging the attacks, as he was being dragged away by Eitri's pair up. "Good thing Human Wave tactics kicks in, so I can summon another Mokey~"

He placed the second monster on the field, signified by it appearing in a swirl of glittery smoke. And as soon as it appeared, the drowzy field began to get noticeably harder to resist. The two pillows staring down the hostile side of the field. Both of which had calmed down from their angered state.

"But I guess I should draw now, huh?" He asked nobody in particular. "...And I think...Mushroom Man is a guy I can totally vibe with right now~"

That's when he played his second copy of the monster, the umbrella topped shroom emerging from the ground, flexing his muscles.

"Dontcha think he's a fun-gi?" He asked Eitri, chuckling to himself. "Yeahhh I know, totally overdone. Buuuut I think imma have him and my Mokeys do an attack now."

The first Mokey appeared to be afflicted by charm, although it was hard to tell seeing from the deadpan expression it had right now.

"Mokey Mokey one, why dontcha take on that guy. Mokey Mokey the second, how bouts that duck, man?"

"Mokey!"

"Mokey!"

The two angels targeted their enemies, avoiding the bee because of the charm's abilities to dampen attacks.

"Oh and Mushroom dude, why dontcha visit that cute lil' be and give 'em a hug?"

That's when the Mushroom sunk into the ground, re-emerging shortly behind ribombee, extending its right hand to grapple the bee towards it. If successful, it would bear hug the thing so it wouldn't escape.

The little Bee was grappled by a larger mushroom, though the moment it had got a hand on him, Ribombee did not let this go without consequence! Though its intention to kill was being dampened, its bloodlust was still too sparked to completely let it go! Buzzing louder and louder, hundreds upon thousands of black dots begun escaping it, dispersing out, creating a vortex that would end up flying over to the attackers - Mushroom Man and the two Mokey Mokeys. Due to its aspects, not only would it end up doing gradual damage on top of the initial hit if it managed to land, but it would also trap the three and prevent them from escaping thanks to Infestation's properties!

LEON

The robotic individual, or whatever it was, pulled the two creatures to safety from the pillow's blast. Leon narrowed his eyes as its gaze turned directly on him for a moment. Seeing that sword, Leon cautiously made sure he had his combat knife out. The bee leapt forward, making some faces. Leon was repulsed. What the hell was it doing that for? A second later, his opinion softened. "Aw, it's kind of cute," he muttered, before a buff mushroom leapt out of the ground to grapple it. Talk about unexpected.

However, upon seeing Eitri summon herself some new weird magic wind, Leon acted quickly, flipping his knife to replace it with a flash grenade, tossing it seemingly to the side, at a wall opposite to Belowski and Eitri's attacks, which hopefully drew the attention of the enemies.

As the grande bounced off the wall, now headed directly for the trio, Leon had already darted his way back to Eitri and Belowski. "This'll be bright," he told them. "Close your eyes for just a second so you're not blinded, right... now!"

The flash grenade detonated, releasing a powerful burst of noise and light, both disorienting, overloading senses and receptors, no doubt making the duck and bug's ears ring, and possibly stunning the robot's systems, hopefully creating a big enough opening for Eitri and Belowski to get some decent damage in.

Upon the insect struggling and preparing to launch its attack, the mushroom covered its mushroom cap over the insect as its arms wrapped tightly around it. It took the full brunt of the infestation! Tiny little bugs were eating away at it's glorious biceps and fungalicious body! But it wasn't going to take that hurt without giving out some!

"Huah!"

Still gripping the bee, it flexed it's muscles, tightening it's grasp as the big got stronger and stronger. The mushroom then move to crack against the spine of the bee, similar to a wrestler would do, before pile-driving them into the ground!

That's when Leon proposed its attack, flinging his flash bang and telling the pair to close their eyes. Belowski, while distrusting of Leon, just went with the flow, closing his eyes and shrugging his shoulder before-

BANG!

The flash bang went off, a flash of light and high pitched noise accompanying it.

"Mokey...!"

"...Mokey!"

The two angels whimpered from the sound as their wings pointed inwards to face themselves, their faces showing visual discomfort from the sound. Seems they were vulnerable to the sound. They were rendered unable to move!

The two children quickly retreated to higher ground, momentarily leaving Leon by himself. The magic-wielding girl had fired a wind spell down at Psyduck, Jack moving to intercept it, raising a hand as he used his Tempest, using micro-vibrations within his inner hydraulics to generate a powerful blast of air, dispelling the projectile. Ordinarily, it would've sent it back to the sender, but the wind-like properties did not allow for that.

The tired-looking boy seemed to have summoned more monsters, explaining his moves as he went, a strange aura intensifying throughout the area. Jack couldn't quite make out what it was made of, being largely unaffected by it, but the Architect's next words clued him in on its effects.

"This anger on both sides is growing pointless... Why must we fight, again?"

That was incredibly unusual to hear from the Cybervoid remnant. That aura was somehow affecting the Architect, somewhat pacifying him, and he didn't doubt it was weighing the others down as well. A strange mushroom man attempted to deal heavy damage to Ribombee by grappling it, prompting Jack to swing his sharp blade at the monster's stem, aiming to quickly sever it from the ground before it could further damage his ally.

His threat sensor soon warned him of an incoming projectile, though it was not a bullet or another spell. It was a flash grenade, thrown by Leon as he returned to the others, warning them of its effects. There was no way to stop it, so the Ghostrunner raised an arm in front of his 'face' to shield himself, managing to get a few words out for his allies just before it detonated.

"Close your eyes."

The grenade went off with a flash of light and an annoying, high-pitched sound. As a machine built to handle these kinds of situations, Jack's optical and auditive sensors were affected far less than an organic being would, the high-pitched noise being the more persistent effect, garbling his audio somewhat. Thankfully for the trio, it seemed the floating pillows were left fully vulnerable, giving Jack a chance to quickly cut them down with his sword.

With being gripped by a Mushroom Man and having to endure the pressing weight of it trying to suplex something so much smaller than it, and NOW a flash of light and a deafening noise being added on top of it. It was all too much for the Bug to handle, in the mental term. It started freaking out and used a panic attack - Psychic. The same light-pink energy surrounding it and made its eyes glow, attempting to force the Mushroom Man to let go and generally just lashing out at anything it could grab and toss away.

"Mokey...!"

"Mokey...!"

Both Mokeys were extremely vulnerable, something that Jack took advantage of as both were cleaved in a single blow, Mokey Mokey Smackdown not activating as a result! Mushroom man, who held tightly on the ever crunching bug in it's grasp, was forced to let go as the bug released it's psychic potential, separating just in time for Mushroom man to be cleaved in half by Jack! Ribombee survived, but in a heavily battered state.

Belowski was now left with no monsters on the field. So as he came to from the flash bang, he blinked at the realization. Did...that flash grenade only hamper them?

"Well...that's a bummer. But hey, at least balance is restored to my universe at the end of that move. Human wave tactics activates! So since three monsters died this turn, I can summon three monsters directly from my deck! And I think I need the squad all here to chill with."

On the field, three monsters appeared in a flash! Haniwa, Happy Lover, and Mokey Mokey. Three different monsters. They all were on Belowski's side of the field, so they wouldn't be able to just blink over to the enemy's side to quick attacks. Nope. Instead they had to play it safe from range.

"Happy lover, why don't you make some friends with that bee? Mokey Mokey? That slash was grody, why dontcha look into that?"

"Brrri!"

"Mokey!"

"Oh and Haniwa? Lay down."

"Wa."

Haniwa creaked before falling backwards onto the ground with a thud. Belowski plopped himself on the stone monster and used him as a bed, yawning and lounging on him. Meanwhile, Happy lover fluttered toward the bee, firing a gushy burst while Mokey Mokey released some more of his Mokey Mokey wave at Jack.

Eitri

The sage moved herself behind part of the ruined wall for cover. Suddenly, Leon was there besides her and Belowski, telling them to take cover. Eitri frowned, ducking down, closing her eyes, and covering her ears. There was a loud bang and a bright flash, and Eitri took that as the signal that it was okay to move again. She looked out from behind the cover to see the robot man running up and slashing through the two Mokeys. Belowski summoned more monsters, but began using the rock golem one as a place of rest.

"Belowski, we will have plenty of time to rest when there are not people actively trying to kill us." Eitri said, before yawning herself at the presence of a Mokey Mokey. Shaking off the tired aura, Eitri gestured towards Jack. Another blade of wind flew down towards the robot man as she cast Elwind once again!

Another trio of monsters appeared, activated by whatever 'Human Wave Tactics' was. Another Mokey Mokey and a Happy Lover, with some Haniwa thing acting as a bed for the boy. Odd. The Mokey Mokey released more of the strange waves directly at him, and while he didn't feel its pacifying effects, he felt a little... slower, in a way. Like his actions had a slight delay on them. Strange.

Happy Lover shot a beam at Ribombee while Eitri fired another blade of wind at Jack himself, forcing him to stay on the move. Diving to the side to avoid the Elwind, the Ghostrunner fired his gap jammer at Happy Lover, a thin cable wrapping around the fairy right as it fired, pulling on the gap jammer in an attempt to force Happy Lover to fire elsewhere, hopefully missing Ribombee. Regardless of the result, he would then fling the monster towards Mokey Mokey like a pebble, aiming to take them both out in one move.

It would seem the Jack caught onto their weakness. So he reached to repeat the success of last attack, leaping into action! The gap jammer he fired wrapped around the pink fair, dropping it from proceeding any further. Stopped midair, it blinked at it's predicament.

"Eeep?"

Firing off its attack inaccurately towards the sky, it was then tossed at Mokey Mokey with great ferocity!

"Eeeeeeeeeeeep!"

"Mokey!"

Thwack!

Both were impacted simultaneously, shattering apart in a flurry of fragments! His monsters were depleting fast. Most of the ones in his deck were already downed, and at the rate this was going, human wave tactics would only deplete him more at the moment, so he decided not to activate it. Belowski eyed the destruction, cocking his head at Jack.

"Huh...you're gettin' pretty good at takin' out my monsters, dude. Surprised you're not feelin' a tad sleepy...but hey, s'all good." He shrugged with his dopey smile, drawing a card. "Cause like, this is where It totally goes off the rails."

He played a spell card from his hand, one that seemed unfamiliar, both to the enemy and to his teammates.

"I play this spell card: Tri Wight! You see, my little bros don't wanna chill in the graveyard all day, sooo I can choose three of my little friends to come out and play. And I think I want all three of my Mokey Mokeys to come out and join the fun~"

As the spell card activated, three streams of Pink smoke shot out from the ground, compressing together to reform the destroyed pillow looking angels. All three were here! Belowski lifted up his sagging hat, pointing toward his Mokey Mokeys.

"Well, if you had a little bit of insomnia, maybe these guys can help us out with that~ C'mon dudes, give 'em a hint!"

"Mo-"

"-Key-"

"-Mokey!"

All three pillow angels began to flap their wings, vibrations resonating throughout the battle. The intense waves would attempt to pacify the enemy team, and consequently, his allies caught in the wave.

LEON

The chaos continued, and Jack was rapid and efficient. Leon leapt down from the cover, feeling a drowsiness inexplicably come over him. Focusing on his adrenaline, he pushed it aside. The flash bang hadn't been quite as effective as he'd hoped---this robot guy was the deadliest of the bunch. Gripping his knife, Leon started to rush forward-

And the Mokey waves blasted through the battlefield.

"Ugh," Leon collapsed to his hands and knees almost immediately, blinking through heavy eyelids. "Worst... teammate... ever..." And he fell unconscious, right at Jack's feet.

Using the help of Jack, Ribombee quickly zipped his way over to his robotic ally and flew behind his back, temporarily using him as a shield. Of course, Ribombee planned to get back into battle as quick as possible but with these wounds, that would be tantamount to suicide! So instead, the little butterfly begun swooping to the ground and gathering pollen, creating a yellow Pollen Puff that it promptly consumed, regaining a good portion of its already pretty small total health amount.

With the Mokey Vibrations now tripled, the Bee Fly pokemon's killing intent was quelled and he relaxed to the point of just being a normal, albeit much more well-intentioned version of his normal bretheren. He begun gathering more Pollen Puffs and throwing them out carelessly to all parties present - which, unfortunately for his foes, would mean being bombed by balls of pollen, while for his allies, it meant getting healed. Of course, he wouldn't be aware of the damage he was to cause - for all he knew, he just wanted to gift his favourite food to all his surrounding friends.

Jack
Belowski had used a new card to summon three monsters back from the ‘graveyard’, now bringing the total amount of Mokey Mokeys to three. The effect of the aura only seemed to stack, the slight lag in Jack’s actions becoming more noticeable. What stood out to him was that the boy’s allies were not immune to its effects, the adult male rushing Jack before suddenly collapsing, unconscious right at his feet.

The Ghostrunner stared at Leon for a moment before looking back at his allies, Ribombee going into a pollen frenzy, throwing the projectiles everywhere. Essentially unharmed since his battle with Grief, the pollen had no effect on him—- though perhaps his lack of organic matter made it useless on him.

Before any more attacks were thrown, Jack crouched in front of Leon, picking him up carefully before lifting him in a firefighter’s carry, walking over to one side of the street before setting him down against a wall. He’d rather stop any more lives from being claimed if possible, hence his more defensive actions during this fight. These people weren’t monsters, under mind control or fighting for the sake of a corrupt authority. They were, powers and monster summoning aside, normal people. Not pawns like Mara’s subordinates.

Speaking of Mara, he was pretty damn sure the Architect was unconscious. He could hear some quiet snoring in the back of his mind, and that sure wasn’t a thing that happened before. How was this wave affecting such an advanced intelligence…?

Psyduck
The Duck was yanked out of the way of a deadly attack by Jack, but as all the chaos was going on, Psyduck began to give in to the Mok. The Duck Pokémon plopped onto his butt as his teammates did all the work. He was just about to doze off when three words caught his ear.

"Close your eyes."

The avian drowsily looked over to Jack.

"...Duck..?"

BANG!

An explosion of light and sound stunned Psyduck, causing him to double over as he clutched his head. The bomb had made his headache flare up again to extremely painful proportions, magenta sparks once again flickering from his cranium. This duck had a couple experiences with this major pain before, and so he was able to shakily get to his feet. Seeing Belowski and his enslaved monsters, Psyduck had forgotten about Leon for the time being, especially since he was unconscious behind their own lines at this point. The headache made it so the calming wave didn't have much effect, since it's chillness clouded Psyduck's thoughts and made it require even more effort for The Duck to think and that effort was a strain. He made his way towards Belowski with pained, waddling gait, igniting his own head in a Zen Headbutt to ram into both the boy and Haniwa!

"Oh?"

There was a stir of bad vibes on the enemy side of the field. Well, bad vibes may not be an accurate way of putting it. Confused vibes? Muddled vibes. They emanated from the duck who waddled with a bad headache in the middle of the street. Then suddenly, I'm a burst of odd avian antics, shot up toward him with a sparkling zed headbutt!

"Dude..." Belowski ooed, entranced by the attack.

"Wa."

Haniwa saw it coming, standing up, sending Belowski sliding off the back of it clumsily. So Haniwa took the Zed Headbutt attack head on instead of Belowski, shattering into a million little pieces. Psyduck had just came down, close range of the wizard and the duelist. Wether that was a good thing for either side was yet to be seen.

"You're a funny one, huh? Takin' out Haniwa like that was preeeetty rude dude. But the world must go on." He said, taking out a monster card from his deck. "Due to human wave tactics, I special summon my last Happy Lover in attack mode."

His last pink fair took the field, directly in front of psyduck. It gave the yellow duck a wink as it's master gave her a instruction.

"Ey, Lover? Why dontcha take 'em for a ride?"

"Brrri!"

It would flap over and swipe Psyduck off his feet. If successful, it would carry him over the edge of the building and drop him down to the earth below.

Eitri

The sage felt a familiar wave of drowzyness as the Mokey Mokey's once again swarmed the field. But if she fell asleep here, there was no telling what would happen. Leon collapsed, and was carried away by the metal man. A shattering noise caught Eitri's attention, and the sage looked over to see Hanawa already destroyed. The Psyduck had made it to them. Eitri leaned on the ruined wall for support, barely able to keep her eyes open as the Happy Lover appeared. Despite the chaos of the combat, Eitri couldn't help but to notice something new. She had never seen it before, but Belowski's other monsters, and Belowski himself, appeared unaffected by the Mokey Mokey's aura. She must ask Belowski about that later...

There was an explosion of yellow dust that struck the wall near Eitri, and the girl began to cough and choke as she was covered in the fine dust. It smelled very heavily of flowers, most unusual. Happy Lover carried Psyduck away, but Eitri wasn't going to let the duck go that easily. Aiming at the Water-Type Pokemon, Eitri fired another Elwind attack at the duck!

Sonic the Hedgehog
After intercepting Zed’s attack and allowing Masaru to go through with his attack, the adept managed to dodge and weave through the boulders, putting noticeable strain on himself in the process. Suddenly—

BOOM

A gunshot rang throughout the area, the bullet sailing directly through Zed’s skull—but he did not die like most people would after being hit with a bullet. Instead, his wing disappeared in a flash of light and he fell to the ground.

“Not sure what just happened, but I’ll take it!” Sonic said with a grin on his face, running forward at incredible speeds as Masaru helped clear him a path towards Zed. Giving his martial artist pal a thumbs up, Sonic picked up the pace, causing a small shockwave from his speed, dispersing several of the birds in an effort to assist Masaru, before sailing right through the gap between the birds!

The blue blur took a quick turn once he reached the building Zed was hiding out in, drifting along the ground in the process, and curled up into a ball. After revving up for a brief moment, Sonic blasted forwards, rolling along the ground and going right through the window Zed was hiding, causing a loud crash and window shards to fly forwards. As Sonic crashed through, he turned quickly and dashed forward towards Zed, fist extended, aiming to get a quick hit in. Regardless of whether or not it landed, Sonic then skidded to a stop in front of the adept.
”Don’t leave now, you’ll miss the after party!” The hedgehog quipped with a snarky smirk , clearly non-intimidated.

E-123 Omega
The laser shot was a direct hit, sniping Bowser right out of the air and causing him to skid along the road, blood dripping from the shot. The laser was considerably more effective than both bullets and missiles, so perhaps the Koopa king was weaker to energy attacks. Noted.

However, Morton was rather angry and not finished yet, eyes glowing red with rage and power as he sprinted towards Omega, who reconfigured an arm to a weapon with several laser barrels— the Lock-On Shot. As Bowser got close, Omega jet dodged backwards, narrowly avoiding a blast of fire. As Bowser attacked with fire, E-123 successfully locked on and fired several homing lasers at him.

Looking to the side, the machine noticed his puffball ally absorbing an automotive vehicle and using it to change his form—a respectable feat. Carby then dashed forward to cover Omega from Bowser’s latest boulder attack, a maneuver the walking arsenal took advantage of by charging up a stronger attack as the boulder approached, confident that Kirby would intercept it.

And so he did, the car-powered puff crashing into the boulder, knocking it off course, and E-123’s attack was now ready. He had reconfigured both of his arms into laser cannons and pointed them at the airborne Bowser, who currently did not have much mobility due to the fact that he was in the air, and then—

BAAAAAAAAM

Omega fired a giant purple laser from both of his cannons directly at the airborne turtle boi! While this action no doubt drew attention to his location due to the large laser, E-123 did not care very much as he was fully focused on annihilating Bowser, a task he intended to carry out with this calculated attack!

Zed
Sonic burst through Zed's fiery dome, leaving it to close in on Masaru, soon converging on the center regardless of the martial artist's actions. The blue blur himself crashed through the window, forcing Zed on the defensive as he turned around, swinging his own arm as Sonic attacked, radiant flames bursting from the limb to protect Zed. While lower damaging than his other moves, it would prove enough to nullify the hedgehog's quick punch.

"Oh, I have no intention of running away. I will fight until the very end!" He replied, smirking back, Eclipse Solaire manifesting in his right hand, holding his other hand out as he manifested a flock of golden birds. Each bird would fly at Sonic in quick succession, tracking his movements as close as possible, aiming to catch him while in this enclosed space!

Jack
A magenta explosion got Jack's attention once more, the cyborg looking up to spot Psyduck up on a third story, being attacked by Belowski and Eitri. While he couldn't act quickly enough to prevent any attacks from landing, he managed to sprint all the way to the building in a couple seconds, climbing up the side with incredible efficiency. He'd aim to catch Psyduck should he fall off the edge, grabbing him with one arm while climbing over the edge with the other, right in front of the two children. "Calm down," He whispered to the duck, grabbing him by the head to prevent him from waddling off, ready to point the duck's face elsewhere should he go for an attack again.

Jack rose to his full height, duck in hand, sheathing his sword, leaving his palm facing the opposite duo. "I want to talk."

“I’m not looking for a fight. There’s been a misunderstanding.” Jack explained. “Duck attacked first, maybe out of instinct, and the bee followed in its steps. But I’d rather avoid any more unnecessary killing.”

Jack held his free hand out, still standing a ways from Belowski, still wary of any Psyduck outbursts.

“Truce.”

Belowski

Seeing Jack controlling the yellow duck somewhat put a bit of meaning behind his words, showing he at least had some hands on the reigns in this situation. If it weren't for ribombee shooting pollen explosives everywhere, maybe it would have been even more convincing.

"Well, so long as you can control your dudes here..."

That's when a pole explosive wizzed right by Belowski, exploding nearby. Happy lover gasped, giving the bug an upset face before puffing up its cheeks and firing a gushy burst right at it! The gushy burst splashed against the bee, who whirled down below with a trail of pink smoke, before crashing into the concrete below.

PYRO

"Mph?" The Pyro glanced about as the birds erupted around, but they were quick to pull out their maul, and quickly spun in a circle, holding out the weapon, using its own weight to spin faster as the birds closed in---and were subsequently cut into, the maul slashing through them. The bladed weapon was left with a burning head as Pyro came to a stop, shaking their head to clear out the dizziness, Sonic having zipped into the building Zed had fled to, a faint blue line indicating this before it faded quickly.

"Mm mmph!" They laughed with a mumbled challenge no one else but Masaru heard, but he'd have trouble translating, as the Pyro then took off, racing toward the fight, flames flickering off the axe, the blade beginning to glow red. They found the hole Zed had fled down, in time to see Sonic taunt Zed, before the wingless babyman retaliated, facing the other direction. Through the broken lens, the Pyro glared at the man who'd shattered their world. Had introduced such a violent and unhappy place. Glancing at the wall separating them, Pyro lifted the degreaser with their free arm, and used the secondary firing mechanic. A powerful blast of compressed air burst out of the weapon toward the already weakened wall, resulting in it seemingly blasting onto Zed, a chain reaction following as the ceiling followed suit to fall upon Zed, Pyro watching with a mixture of curiosity and sick satisfaction, tilting their head slightly to the side, waiting to see what damage they'd inflicted.

The hedgehog grinned in response to Zed’s statement, taking a fighting stance. “Now you’re speaking my language, let’s see what you got!” Birdbrain summoned several fire birds and shot them at Sonic, who narrowed his eyes in anticipation. Once all of the projectiles got close, the hedgehog leapt into action—quite literally. He immediately jumped up onto the ceiling, then to a wall, then to a different wall, then back to the floor. He continued to jump for a few seconds, masterfully dodging the birds and causing confusion at the same time, leaving several blue trails.

Suddenly, completely unprompted, Sonic changed direction, leaping directly behind Zed and bouncing off of the wall behind him. He curled into a ball and shot at the adept, aiming to crash into him from behind. However, the blue blur assumed his opponent would react accordingly, and the attack was actually a feint! He quickly changed direction midair once he neared Zed, circling around completely to the opposite side of his opponent’s body to hit him there instead!

Eitri

The Sage leaned against the wall, breathing heavily and trying to focus through the aura of the Mokey Mokey. The metal man stopped, once again trying to explain how he doesn't want to fight. As he did, the small insect accompanying him launched a metal rod at Belowski and herself. It barely missed, but Belowski's Happy Lover was quick to retaliate. With a blast of it's heart beam, another ring of thunder ran out signaling the end of another competitor.
"Belowski..." Eitri said, looking towards the teen. She looked and felt exhausted, close to falling asleep again. "... Don't trust him."
