Name: Renz Flintrock
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Physical appearance: Renz is tall, standing a bit over six foot. His skin is tanned from his childhood in Alola and his time on the road, and his hair is a brown so dark it's almost black. His eyes are a bluish color.
Casual Clothing: Nearly always something functional. Often his outfit consists of either jeans or sport shorts, depending on the weather, and tee shirts. On one wrist he has a white wristwatch, and on the opposite is his Z-ring.
Gym Uniform: Normally no different than his casual clothes.
Personality: To those who know him, Renz is generally seen as a decent guy who cares for his Pokemon and does his best for others. Many of these have also seen his stubborn streak. To his challengers, he is seen as a difficult opponent, taking every advantage and never going easy. He teaches his challengers that bonds with their Pokemon are more important than type advantages.
Family: While I won't go into too much detail, his closest blood relations are his mom, dad, and his three cousins.
Crush: Kathren Tretoes
Ace Pokemon: Garchomp (Male)
Other Pokemon: He owns quite a few Pokemon, and will use different ones depending on how many badges his challengers have. Here are a few of his strongest, though: Krookodile (M), Caesar (Nidoking*), Hardhat (Torterra, M) Gliscor (F), Ty (Typhlosion, M) (Not a ground type, I know, but I can explain this one's backstory later) Piloswine (M), and Mudsdale (F) (He has more, these are just some of his higher level ones.)
Gym Type: Ground. Badge: The Foundation Badge. TM: Earthquake.
Town Name: Sierai Cove
Appearance of town: Sierai Cove medium sized, but it's a hot spot for tourists to the region. Directly on the beach is a glistening building, a casino and resort that has more rooms than there are houses in the rest of the town. I won't go into too much detail, but it also has pools, restaurants, and lots more.
There are more beachfront properties, usually homes for those in an affluent state. But farther inland there is much more. This the town proper, where most of the homes are, along with the usual buildings: Pokemon centers, shops, restaurants, police station, etc., and the Gym. As you move farther inland you come back into nature, houses become more scarce and Pokemon abound. This area has large amounts of native Pokemon, and there are many habitats: small lakes, grassy hills, and forests. The land gradually moves upward into rocky hills, though, and some areas are forbidden to trainers without a certain amount of badges.
The Gym: The gym is not the most obvious building in the town. It is connected to the Gym Leader's house, which is also connected to a Pokemon Daycare, forming an L shaped building. The rest of the L is taken up by a walled yard. To talk about the gym itself: Trainers challenging the gym will find themselves waiting in the lobby, and while they are there they will be asked to choose up to three Pokemon to use in the gym challenge. They will be brought into three rooms, each with its own challenge. If the trainers pass all three, they will be shown into the battle room, where they can face Renz, in a battle format of their choosing. Whatever style of fight, Renz is sure to be ready. (A word of advice: do not bring Spinda into his gym. He will not show mercy.)
